"Where the heck did you go?" I asked the moment she picked up her phone,anger curling my fingers and balling them to fists by my side and around my phone. 

"Hunter-"

"Where did you go? You don't have a place to stay," I whispered in worry.

"I...went...to a friend's house."

"Pearl, come back."

"No, Hunter. What you did is too much."

"We never talked about it."

"Because you were too busy acting like nothing had happened. You think I'm so stupid to go with whatever you have on that cruel mind of yours? Didn't you think of me? Of us when you kissed her?"

"I did think, you were always on my mind."

"I can't believe you," she muttered. "I need sometime to think."

"We can think together, Pearl."

"Hunter, I-" she breathed. "I want to stay away from you until I'm stable again."

"How stable?"

"Stable enough to accept that you're no longer mine alone."
