I picked up my phone after aimlessly staring as Lara's name flashed on its new screen. Lara doesn't call me for nothing. Oh, Lord.

"I saw them," she screamed and I had to create distance between me and the phone. Stupid.

"Where?" I calmly asked.

"The Indian restaurant close to your place."

What the fuck.

"They both hate Indian." It was a fact. Hunter loathes spices. Hates them with a passion.

Hannah had that plan of faking herself so she'd have the greatest number of common things between them so hating Indian did add more to her list. Bitch.

"Obviously, because they asked the bartender about something and then walked out."

"Describe him." I was getting nervous. My palms started shaking.

"Short, curly hair and a flower tattoo on his wrist."

"Fuck," I whispered. "He's Aven's friend. He comes here all the time."

"Why would they talk to him?" Was the last thing I could muster before I saw the headlights of a car parking in front of my place. I dropped the phone on the couch, it couldn't be Aven. No way.

He was upstairs taking a shower. I tiptoed my way to the front door, opening the curtain on the window next to it just enough for me to see who came to visit.

He opened the door for her as she rose so very gracefully I almost puked. He took her hand in his before walking up the steps of the porch to come to my door.

Hunter and the bitch.

I could see him up close now, how a beard is now covering his jaw, and how she was clinging to his arm looking like a hyena.

"Are you sure she'd be here?" He asked her and I closed my eyes when I heard his voice. It has been long enough to hear from the cheater.

She nodded and it was all silence until he rang the doorbell and I closed the curtain. I didn't want to see him. He can't see me.

And I hate who he loves.

"Why are you staring at the wall?" Aven was right behind me before he started laughing so hard. So hard and too loud. He sent chills down my spine when he whispered his question and it caused me to lose some balance and nudge the door harshly.

I'm sure they know we're here know.

"He's out," I whispered and he stopped laughing. He passed me and looked outside the curtain only to look back at me with a pale face.

"I told Mark not to tell them. Fucking stupid."
