Synopsis: Giyushino sleeps under a tree. Just basic fluff in general.

They're dating in this oneshot

Giyu and Shinobu were relaxing under the sakura tree in Oyakata-sama's garden (I don't really know if he does have one, but if he doesn't, let's just pretend that he does, ok?) waiting for the other hashira to come for the usual hashira meeting.

Shinobu made herself comfortable in Giyu's lap with Giyu himself wrapping his arms around her waist and nuzzled his face near her neck. The two were just talking about anything that just happened to cross their minds at the time and exchanged small kisses.

"They're certainly taking a lot longer than usual," Shinobu said. Giyu just shrugged and said "Maybe they're taking longer on their missions than usual?"

"No, I don't think so," she answered. Shinobu then sighed and turned to face Giyu.

"Did you get any sleep at all recently?" Shinobu asked her messy-haired lover. Giyu looked up at her, then blinked in surprise.

"How could you tell?" He said while tilting his head like a confused puppy. Shinobu thought he looked cute whenever he did that, but cast that thought aside to answer him.

"I heard you yawn a little while we were talking, plus you have a few bags under your eyes." She then stroked Giyu's face with her hand. "You can sleep if you want to, Giyu."

Giyu thought about it and said "Promise to wake me up when the meeting starts?" She smiled and said "Yes, I promise, now go to sleep, ok honey?"

Giyu just re-nuzzled his face back onto Shinobu's neck and said "I love you Sugarplum," with a soft smile on his face. Shinobu blushed from the nickname and said "Love you too Giyu, sweet dreams." She then kissed his forehead and lightly combed her fingers through Giyu's soft, long hair, to help him fall asleep.

Soon after Giyu fell asleep, Shinobu rested herself against Giyu's chest, being careful that she didn't wake him up in the process, and listened to his soothing heartbeat. A few minutes passed and Shinobu was asleep as well.

✨Bonus Scene✨

Yeah, turns out, the other hashira were actually spying on Giyushino and were silently fan-girling to the best of their abilities. Except for Sanemi, who was attempting to telepathically tell Giyu that if he breaks Shinobu's heart, he'll beat the living crap out of him.

"Kyyyyaaaa," whispered Mitsuri "Shinobu and Tomioka make such a great couple, don't you think so Iguro?" Iguro, being the highest class of Mitsuri simps, nodded in agreement, too dumbfounded by her happiness to even speak.

"Imagine their flamboyant wedding," said a certain sparkly flamboyant hashira with Spicy Donut nodding in agreement. "Yes! Those two have such a wonderful relationship! I'm very happy for them! How about you, Muichiro?"

It was at this moment that Cloudy Dory said the sentence that blew up the entire Hashira Giyushino Shipping Club.

"I thought they were already married though."

If the hashiras were holding spoons, they would all fall to the floor right now.

Uzui mourned the fact that he wasn't a part of the flamboyant wedding with Kyojuro patting his back to comfort him. Mitsuri fainted from Shipper/Fangirl Overload, Obanai glared at Mui while holding Mitsuri because how dare he make his queen faint. Gyomei was praying, like usual. Sanemi was getting ready to massacre poor Giyu, and Mui was just staring at a hawk who he decided to name Eren. Meanwhile, Oyakata-sama was just watching it all play out while drinking some tea. So yeah, just another chaotic day for the Demon Slayer Corps. (Plays funky 80's sitcom transitional music)
