Timaeus and balbant walked downstairs into the 2nd floor of the taphus "we're in the fire taphus" said Timaeus as he walks down, he felt the cool stone floor from his bare feet that sent shivers down his spine. "Fire taphus? I don't see any fire here" said balbant but he too felt shivers down his spine even though he wore sand colored desert outfit with sandals. "The main reason why this is called the fire taphus is because it produces fire ether from which in turn amplify fire magic" explained Timaeus, the duo walked into a large room but something blocked their way. Two huge black rectangular stones with strange markings that glowed blue was blocking the entrance to the 3rd floor "What are those?" Asked balbant "these are taphus stones, stones that can seal the gods powers and blocked their influence" explained Timaeus as he put his hand on it but felt it's powers causing him to have goosebumps so he removed his hand "the stones power is calming yet chilling" he said. "

There must be a way to get past these" said balbant as he walk to the right side looking for something to move the taphus stones, Timaeus went south of the 2nd floor and sees a strange device "balbant! There's something you should see!" He called. Balbant rushed to where Timaeus is "what is it?" He said "I don't know, but this device looks important" said Timaeus, he walked towards the device and there's a button that glowed a light blue color, he pressed the button and the cylinder in the device popped up and starts spinning. The 2nd floor starts to shake and the taphus stones moved out of the way thus clearing the way to the downstairs of the 3rd floor "incredible! This device can move the taphus stones" said balbant as it surprises him.

The duo walked back to where the taphus stones used to block their way only met by three lions that came from the 3rd floor "lions!?" Yelled Timaeus, balbant looks at the lions but he knew these aren't lions "these aren't real lions, they're fire elementals in the form of lions" he said. One lion lunges at Timaeus growling but Timaeus swing his mace onto its head and crushed it's skull thus killing it, the dead lion desolves into red ether and the 2nd lion crawled towards balbant and tried slashing him with its claws, except he dodges it's attack and he took out his silver dagger mottled with dried poison. He stabbed it two times until it falls down dead from poison and then turned into red ether, the last lion ran back down to the 3rd floor "that'll teach them! Timaeus yelled as he smiled. The red ether that floats around enters the duo "what's this? I feel... weird" said balbant "this is red ether, it's entering our bodies even though we're incapable of casting fire magic" Timaeus explained "How do you know all this?" Asked balbant confused, "I learn both the elemental taphus and ether at age 9 from my father" replied Timaeus. The duo walked downstairs into the 3rd floor to follow the lion, while they are following it's tracks they heard two voices at the other side of the wall "shhh! There's someone there" whispered balbant as he leaned on the wall.

"What do you mean that the taphus is no longer operational!?" Yelled the voice that sounds familiar to balbant.

"Gimzu, what I mean is that the taphus core is inactive due to the fact that it only produced few monsters from red ether, therefore, it needs to recharge before it becomes operational again" said a deep calm sounding voice.

"I don't want to wait! I need an army that can attack the royal guards and to kill the foolish queen, after she is dead I shall become pharoah to rule egypt!" Yelled gimzu angrily.

"But the core has to recharge to produce more monsters, if you go ahead and start using the taphus core while it's charging then it'll cause the whole entire taphus to explode thus killing you along with your plan. The taphus core is powered by geras, the god of old age" explained the deep sounding voice.

"General agon of trantia! How can you say such things!? I'm confident that once I get my army, I'll invade Thebes and kill the foolish queen patra so I can rule egypt" said gimzu as he laughed.

"Gimzu...!" Growled balbant but he has to restrain his anger before he gives himself and Timaeus away, "easy there, we have to stop gimzu from killing patra" whispered Timaeus.
