Soft footsteps echoed in the distance. A Leafeon turned around, flames licked near his home.

His head was turned to the ground.

What had he done?! It was all his fault!

He gritted his teeth, closing his eyes as much as he could with all the force he could muster.

No! I must move on! There's nothing I could have done to stop this!

He turned his back towards the flames, feeling the heat burn his back like the fire would reach where he was.

He was a pretty safe distance from the fire, but it wouldn't be long before the entire snow-filled forest would be shrouded up in flames.

The Leafeon sighed, starting to walk away from the fire. Disappointment in himself flashed through his red eyes as he stared at the ground in shame.

Where was he to go now? He had nowhere. No one.

After all, it was all his fault.

What a pretty sunset

Are those Illumise or Volbeat? Either way ignore the fact the Leafeon is female because in this fanfiction Leafeon will be a male and the Umbreon will be the female. I just love switching the genders because some people are bias on what should be what, but I'm not. I say if it's shipable they can be either.

Leaning. Though Leafeon needs a shoulder to lean on too.
