MONARCH OUTPOST 61
YUNNAN RAINFOREST, CHINA

Kaitu Hamada, 14, works for the world organization Monarch. He was once a pupil of doctor Graham, and is currently stationed at Outpost 61, in the Yunnan Rainforest of China. The outpost currently houses an alpha species; Titanus Mosura, currently about to hatch.

"Doctor!" He yells at the senior scientist in the lab. "She's about to hatch!"

"Ok. I'll contact doctor Russell to come down here." the senior scientist replies.

"Will...Madison be coming with her?"

"Most likely."

Oh, Madison Russell. Kaitu thinks. If only she knew how I felt. Ah, well. Love doesn't fair very well in this business. Look what happened to Maddie's parents.

Shortly after, doctor Emma Russell walked in, platinum blonde hair shining in the ceiling lights.

And following close behind her, was her daughter Madison.

Kaitu had to restrain himself from staring at her beautiful hair, her eyes.

Soon enough, a gigantic larva burst from the egg, and began to observe its surroundings. Emma began to talk to the other men inside the containment area, urging them to stand down. One couldn't help himself, and fired his electric pulse rifle at the creature, startling it. It went on a rampage, killing men by shooting silk at them, knocking them fatally to the ground.

A stray strand of silk hit Kaitu in the chest, sticking him to the wall of the containment room. Unable to move, he watched as Emma Russell entered with her ORCA device, and began attempting to communicate with the larva. Then, Madison entered, and the two began to work on the device together.

Finally, the room calmed down, and the larva stopped its rampage. Moving slowly, it let Madison lay her hand on the creature's face.

She's beautiful. Kaitu thought Madison.

Then, gunfire rang out in the control room.
