"So let me get this straight." Zilla said, scratching his head. "You're gonna open a portal to another dimension, and bring another version of Godzilla back into this world to fight the other version of Ghidorah."
"Yes. Do you need me to explain that for the 100th time or do you understand now?" Gamera growled. He had been building the portal generation device for the past few hours, with Zilla, Anguirus, and Rodan helping him. But Zilla had been much more preoccupied with asking questions rather than helping.
"No no, I got that part." He said. "I'm just wondering why we don't just bring everyone's Titan counterpart to this world instead of just Godzillas. Wouldn't it be easier to win that way?"
"If it were that easy, why didn't Ghidorah do that?" Rodan said, plugging the hundreds of cables into the places Gamera had told him to.
"He's right. We're bringing something from a completely separate universe into ours." Anguirus added, propping up a giant metal ring-shaped object. "That's already messing with the fabric of reality and crap. And Ghidorah did the same thing once, so we're already making the problem worse."
"So... what would happen if we broke the fabric of reality?" Zilla asked. Gamera rolled his eyes and groaned.
"Nothing good, Zilla." He muttered. He was thankful the device was almost done. He couldn't take much more of Zilla's inquiries. The portal generator was about two meters tall, and made using old Atlantean technology. A keypad allowed for them to enter coordinates for other dimensions and travel to them. Gamera had found the coordinates they needed, and now that the device was ready, the only thing left was to get Godzilla, wherever he was.

The sound of waves crashing onto the sand filled Godzilla's ears, calming his nerves. Or at least, he hoped they would. It wasn't exactly working. Traveling dimensions wasn't something he'd exactly been prepared for when he woke up that morning. Luckily, Mothra was there to help him. She wouldn't be coming with him, obviously, but she might be able to calm him down, he thought.
"Hey." She said.
"Hey." He said back. Mothra joined him in watching the waves.
"You know... this isn't how I imagined our first week of marriage." She joked. Godzilla chuckled at her remark.
"Me either." He agreed. "What did you imagine?"
"I guess I imagined us... alone in some comfortable place, waking up and going to bed whenever we want, enjoying each others company... making passionate love every morning end every night..." Mothra sighed, leaning against him.
"That sounds nice." Godzilla agreed. "And pretty much about what I expected too... I'm sorry we never got that."
"Oh, it's not your fault, Godzilla." Mothra assured. She lay her head on his shoulder. "This'll be over soon, right? And the we can get away from all this to have a proper honeymoon the way we want."
Godzilla nodded, placing a hand on her shoulder and laying his head on hers. "I hope it'll be over soon." He agreed. "Hey... tell you what, when it is, I'll take you on a trip. Anywhere in the world you wanna go, I'll take you. It'll be just the two of us."
Mothra thought for a moment. It sounded lovely, but she couldn't think of anywhere she wanted to go. Eventually, a place popped into her mind. "How about... somewhere in Canada?"
"Canada?" Godzilla asked. He hadn't expected her to suggest that.
"Yeah, I'm sure there's some romantic locations in Canada." She said. Godzilla chuckled and held Mothra tighter.
"Canada it is then." He agreed. Mothra smiled, but something else was on her mind that made it fall quickly. She pursed her lips and breathed a deep sigh.
"... Godzilla?" She asked. "I... have something to tell you."
"Yeah, what's up?" Godzilla responded.
"I've been feeling kinda... weird ever since we got back to the island." She confessed.
"Weird how?" Godzilla asked.
"Well..." Mothra said. "I think... and I don't know for sure yet, but... I think maybe-"
"Godzilla." She was interrupted by a voice from behind them. They both turned around to see Gamera, with a purely serious expression on his face.
"It's time." He stated plainly.

Godzilla gulped in deeply as he stood before the now activated portal. It was blue, and glowed brightly, shining light all over the forest. Wind circled around it like a vortex, blowing his jacket and hair back. Gamera and Mothra stood next to him, while everyone else on Monster Island stood behind him, watching intently.
"Now remember," Gamera began, "this isn't like traveling on Earth or even in space. You're going to a whole other dimension. We'll have no means of communicating. So if you have questions, you'd better ask them now."
"... No, I'm good." Godzilla nodded, staring into the mouth of the portal. Gamera nodded as well.
"I'm sending you to the Monster Island in the other universe." He explained. "Another portal will open in one hour big enough for your Titan counterpart to fit through in another location. I sent the coordinates for the second portal to your communicator beforehand, so you should have them now."
Godzilla nodded once again. He didn't want to spend too much time waiting, but there was one thing he had to do before he left. He turned to Mothra, about to say goodbye, but before he could she grabbed him and kissed him deeply. She didn't want to stop, but eventually they broke the kiss.
"Good luck." She said.
"Wait, you were about to tell me something before we came here." Godzilla remembered, placing a hand on her cheek. "What was it?"
"Don't worry about that. It can wait." Mothra insisted. "Now go save the world."
Godzilla smiled and nodded before turning back to the portal. And finally, after a few seconds of hyping himself up, he ran headfirst into it. In a flash of light, he was gone, and the portal immediately shut off. Everyone was silent for a solid ten seconds before Mothra spoke.
"... I can't sense him." She said. "At least, not in this world... I think he made it."
Gamera sighed, staring at the portal device. "Let's just hope he can make it back."
