History: Rodan was from a tribe of other members of his species. After he and Radon, another member of the tribe, were attacked by the Meganulon, they were the last ones left alive, but without their memories. They were found by Anguirus, and they began traveling together. Eventually they found Monster Island, though they didn't realize this was the home of Meganulon and their king. Months later, they met Minilla after he and his father Gojira decided to make their home on the island. Years later, they met Mothra as well. Even later on, they were challenged by King Meganulon, resulting in Radon's death. Seeing as he was not only one of her best friends, but also had feelings for her, Rodan was hit hard by her death. He managed to move on, but he never forgot her.
