For this contest, the prompt was to create a cover for a book that was already published. However, the book had to have a female protagonist. I chose the book "Divergent"

The first time, I didn't read it very well, and messed up. Now, I've created a different one. It has my name, the watermark, and a face claim (is it okay that I made her a vector? If it's not, I can change that.)

Here's the *final product:

If I'm not allowed to use the vector, here's an alternative cover (or, if you just like this one better)

I think it's okay, but my skills are still trying to develop. I used Pixlr to create this, using the fonts "NoFire" for the title and "Beornheard" for the names. Pixlr is a little hard to use at first, but once you get the hang of it, it opens a lot of possibilities. For ex-photoshop users, you'll feel right at home. I used to use Canva, and I was surprised by all of the options this opened up. I used the brush feature to create the vector face. Not the best vector, but alright.

If I need to change this so her face is showing, let me know. And thanks for hosting this contest!

DISCLAIMER:

The picture is not mine, and I do not own the Divergent series. The picture belongs to it's respective owner, and the book series belongs to Veronica Roth.
