Naruto sat down, with Killer Bee watching over him ( Guys relax... he's not dead -_- ). His inner self was battling with the Nine Tails once more, to keep him chained up. He had struggled so long, he couldn't even sleep with Kurama urging to take over every once and while. Killer Bee sighed, looking at how hard he was determined to push the beast away.

* Naruto's Inner Self *

"You little brat! How dare you try to take control of me! You're just a little part of my hatred!", Kurama roared. The Uzumaki grunted as he was thrown back by one his tails. "You actually think you have a chance? You're idiotic friends can't help you in this world, the sooner you accept me the better!"

Naruto groaned, once again using up almost all of his chakra. He stood up, glaring at Kyuubi.

"You're friend's can't save you, no one can! You have no future, you scum!", Kurama shouted. Suddenly a tentacle rose from the water and strangled the Nine Tails, pushing him back into the sealing cage. The Eight Tails had saved him once again.

* Real World *

Naruto came back once more, dripping in sweat, and hyperventilating. Killer Bee narrowed his eyes at him, seeing how pitiful he looked. Everyone knew if Naruto continued to battle the Nine Tails, and wasting his chakra like that, there's a possible chance he could die if his chakra goes to complete zero. The blonde stood up, getting his breathing back under control, looking at Killer Bee with a 'thanks for you're help' look. He nodded in response, and let Naruto go back to the Hidden Leaf Village.

The Uzumaki was greeted with a gleeful Sakura, getting all up in his face. Well, what could he say? It's her usual, annoying, little greeting.

"Hi, Naru-sama! Are you okay? Do I need to buy you anything?", the pinkette asks, checking for injuries. Naruto gave her a fake smile, and shook his head. Sakura nodded, and pounded her fist into her other hand.

"Okay, good! We're going on a mission now, actually, come on! Oh, here they come", she smiled, seeing Sasuke and Kakashi walk up to them, surprisingly, Kakashi wasn't late this time. Sasuke was following right beside him, adjusting his shinobi headband. The Hatake eyed Naruto, seeing as he continued to put on a fake smile. No, he hadn't confronted anyone about this, but he was getting to the fact where he was tired of his student faking his injuries. Besides, Kurama wouldn't even heal critical injuries, which made things worse for Naruto on missions.

Sasuke gave his best friend a smile (( if you retards thought Sakura was his best friend... you must be high )) and he returned it. Sakura was filled with a little envy, but she brushed it aside.

= TIME SKIP TO MISSION =

The last of the gang had been stopped, finally Naruto finished the fight with a successful rasengan. The gang was powerful for which it terrorized villages, and using their products against it's own village. He then realized he had been so caught up with the mission, he forgot to check on Kurama. The Uzumaki told his friends that he need his space just for a quick moment, and they happily obliged.

'Leaving you alone.. some friends you have'

'What did you do, you damn fox?!' Naruto screamed, closing his eyes having a reasonable chat with his 'inner demon'. Kyuubi laughed.

'While you were having that dumb fight, I found the weakest chain and broke it'

'You son of a-'

'Well it seems like you two forgot to tighten up some of these chains. I'd be happy to break another a couple more', Kurama said, snapping off two more. Naruto gasped slightly. Having the chains sealed up around the Nine Tails was connected to his original chakra, which meant with every snap of each chain, it lowered a chunk of his chakra. The blonde gritted his teeth, feeling as if a giant amount of pressure applied on his body.

Kurama continued to check if he had any loose chains, but no more remained. Naruto began to hyperventilate once more.

'Why are you so eager to escape, huh?'

(( Okai before you continue, this part was a bit extreme to me, but I don't care. It's supposed to be a mentally broken fanfic for a reason, dum dums ))

'Of course you know, once the jinchuuriki of that Tailed Beast dies, the Tailed Beast becomes free to roam around for which it pleases. The three tails for example.. So basically, once I take control of you I just might make kill yourself, then I won't have you to boss me around anymore! Or... I could just use you're body to destroy everything you hold dear' 'You.. bastard..'

'Say what you wish... I think I might have chakra just to'

Naruto then felt he had no control over his body and he fell unconscious.

A couple of minutes later, Sasuke found Naruto unconscious with a blood splattered kunai and two bloody wrists.

Kurama took control of Naruto's body, used his kunai and cut his wrist, then he passed out from blood lost.
