EP.35|Back To School. Sadly.

“Damn Ben, you don't start off with the “I got caught cheating ring”. You lead up to it.” Alistair chuckled. “It’s a family heirloom, My mom wasn’t happy when I told her about the engagement plan.” Ben rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly.

“So, I had to respectively sit her down and tell her she can suck it.” Mal smiled showing off the beautiful green gold filled wedding ring marquise cut purple amethyst.

“MY SHIP!!!!!” C.A yelled, eventually passing out. “So, um, party details. Let’s talk dates.” Maddie then bring out a wedding binder and began rambling. “Hey kid.” Zypher said.

“Yeah, Zypher?” Ben asked. “You’re finally gonna get your wish. All thanks to me.” Zypher chuckled. “I really am. Thank, Zypher.” Ben smiled. “Hey Ben, can I talk to you outside?” Evie asked as him and Ben went out onto the terrace.

“Is everything alright?” Ben asked. “Ben, I wanna ask you something. You have to answer honestly.” Evie sighed.

“Ask away.” Ben smiled. “Do you really wanna marry Mal?” Evie asked. “Oh course I do!” Ben answered. “Why would you even ask me a question like that?” Ben added.

“Cause, Ben, if you didn't really wanna marry Mal I would understand. Ben, Mal's different from other girls. She's not your average pretty girl, she's rebellious, dangerous in a good way. You're gonna have to push Mal thru all her problems, be there for her, listen to her when she talks, make her feel better when she's sad, and everything in between. I just wanna make sure your complete devoted to Mal.” Evie explained.

“Evie, you know I'm devoted to her.” Ben said.

“Hey, where’s Freddie?” Zeref asked. “Why? You miss your girlfriend?” CJ cooed. “No, she’s not my girlfriend.” Zeref stated. “Walk! Walk!” Crackers squaked. “Thanks Crackers.” Zeref smiled as he walked out of the hotel room and into the street.

“Where would she be?” Zeref asked himself, he then stopped when he saw a dim light coming from the forest. “What the?” Zeref asked as he slowly walked towards the light. Moving some vines, the light became more clearer.

Zeref looked closer to see it wasn’t a light at all, it was the moonlight reflecting off something in the water. “Is that...Freddie?” Zeref whispered as he looked closer to see it was Freed dancing gracefully on the water.

“Woah.” He gasped. Zeref couldn’t stop staring at her, for some reason, he was drawn to her like a moth to a flame. As Freddie continued dancing, beautiful purple flames followed her.

Zeref tried to get closer but stepped on a twig, causing Freddie to fall. “Zeref?!” Freddie stammered, trying to get out of the water.

“That was amazing Freddie! When did you learn how to do that?” Zeref asked. “Oh, um… just some moves I’ve been teaching myself. My dad said my mother used to do it.” Freddie answered.

Zeref the looked to his left to see an open book. “Summoning spell? What were you trying to summon?” Zeref asked. “My dad, I thought if I summoned him from the spirit realm maybe he could come back.” Freddie guessed.

“You know that’s not how it works.” Zeref sighed. “I know, I just thought it would work.” Freddie then got out from the water. “Hey, maybe I can talk to Hades, he might know.” Zeref guessed. “Thank you Zeref!” Freddie perked up as she tackled Zeref into a hug.

“We to go back tonight. Stupid 2nd term starts tomorrow.” Zeref groaned. “I don't wanna see their stupid faces. Any of the hero's for that matter.” Freddie sighed. “Hey, maybe this year won't be so bad.” Zeref encouraged.

“Yeah right, they hate us. We’re an invasive species.” Freddie muttered. “We’re not. Just remember what dory says; ‘just keep swimming.’” Zeref reminded her.

“Hey, in celebration of our last day, and how we both hate H.K’s. We should paint the town. Have fun. Be crazy!” Freddie cheered. “Our bus leaves in 3 hours, Freddie.” Zeref sighed. “So, let’s get crazy in those 3 hours.” Freddie smiled. “Seriously?” Zeref questioned.

“Yes! Let’s have fun! It’s our last 3 hours before we have to go back. Please, let’s have fun.” Freddie held his hands in hers. “Freddie.” Zeref bowed his head. “Please! Come on let’s have fun.” Freddie started making a puppy dog eyes.

“Stop making those puppy dog eyes.” Zeref sighed. “Please!” Freddie begged. “You know I can’t say no to you like that.” Zeref muttered. “Fine. Let’s paint the town.” Zeref chuckled. “Ya! Let’s go!” Freddie quickly grabbed her book and Zeref’s hand.

“So, I was thinking since you and Mal are H.K’s and V.K’s we can have the colors purple and yellow. And we can have the cake be half chocolate.” “Mal’s favorite.” Evie smiled. “And half vanilla.” “Ben’s favorite.” Jasper stated.

“Exactly, for flowers I was thinking purple and yellow pansies.” Maddie smiled. “How long have you been planning this?” Ben asked. “You see how big this binder is, right?” Maddie chuckled. “Nevermind.” Ben chuckled also.

“Now, where are we having it? And when?” Maddie asked. “I was think we have it on June 16th, the day me and Ben meet.” Mal smiled. “Maybe we can have it at the Villain Isles. At the Pillars of Light temple.” Ben suggested. “You know about the temple? I thought they erase that from all of the H.K’s history books?” Jasper guessed.

“I looked it up when you guys told me about the 6 Pillars of Lights.” Ben said. “We really don't need to have it there. Your family won’t even come, they hate the villain isles.” Mal said as Ben cupped her face.

“I have family who will show up, my grandmother will. She actually is one of my family who likes you.” Ben laughed slightly. “Speaking of family, you did ask my mom for permission. Right?” Mal asked.

“Umm… Mal...I’ll say this in the manliest way possible; she scares the crap out of me.” Ben sighed. “It’s fine, who knows if she gonna show up anyways. Not like she cares.” Mal scoffed.

“What about you dad?” Ben asked. “Gone, haven’t seen him since him and my mom had a huge fight on July 8th.” Mal sighed. “Oh, um, grandparents?” Ben asked. “Nope. They don't know about me.” Mal answered.

“Well, this friday, we're going to talk to you mom.” Ben stated. “Excuse me?” Mal asked, pouring herself a drink. “We’re gonna get married soon. Don't you think it’s best for me to know my mother-in-law.” Ben suggested.

“Ben, my mom is horrible person her only cares about herself. You don't wanna meet her.” Mal warned him. “She can’t be that bad.” Ben smiled. “Oh really?” Mal then showed Ben a video of Maleficent in her dragon form, burning a town.

“That’s what she calls a monday.” Mal then looked up from the video to see Jasper and Ben huddling together like penguins.

“M-Ma-Maybe it was ou-out of con-context?” Ben stuttered. “We’re not going to see my mom.” Mal demanded. “Hey, where’s C.A? Her phone’s been going off for the past hour.” Alistair asked.

“Oh Lizzie!” C.A gasped as Lizzie pinned her wrist to the bed, kissing her neck. “How long...do we...Oh!...need to keep...hiding?” C.A panted. “I don't wanna get you in trouble.” Lizzie said.

“But, we’ve been like this for a 3 months now. Can't we just, tell the VK’s. They won’t rat us out.” C.A said. “Please. I don't wanna tell anyone just yet. I just wanna keep it a secret. For now.” Lizzie smiled.

“I guess…” C.A muttered, making her pouting face. “Don't pout. Come on, you’re to cute when you pout. You make it unfair.” Lizzie said as C.A cheek puffed up.

“C.A, come on. You keep making this hard for me. I know you wanna go public, but in the meantime, there are other things we can do.” Lizzie smirked, her hand going underneath her shirt.

“Lizzie. Not now.” C.A sighed. “But why? You get to pout, you know how that makes me feel. You think I can control myself when you pout like that?” Lizzie whispered.

“Lizzie…” C.A felt shivers go down her spin when she said her name. “Come on, you have to admit, this is fun.” Lizzie smirked against C.A’s skin.

Lizzie started kiss all the way down to her thigh. “Lizzie, come on. We can do this later.” C.A chuckled. “But you like it.” Lizzie smirked. “Well...that doesn't mean anything…we can't get caught...Oh! Lizzie, come on that tickles.” C.A laughed as Lizzie kissed her stomach.

“You love me. Say it.” Lizzie laughed. “Come on! Stop it...HAHAHA!!” C.A laughed. “Just say it.” Lizzie chuckled. “Okay, okay, I love you Lizzie Heartz.” C.A smiled.

“Thank you.” Lizzie smirked as she pulled the blanket over her and C.A. “What are you doing?” C.A asked. “Loving you.” Lizzie smiled.
