EP.98|Brothers No Matter What...Right? (Part 2)

As the years went on, both Ben and Lucifer continuously got stronger.

Once day, Dixie and 12 year old Lucifer sat at her table, drinking tea. "So you know?" Lucifer asked as Dixie nodded. "And I think it's time your brother knows too." Dixie stood up, so did Lucifer.

"Dixie, don't want to drag Ben into my problems." Lucifer sincerely said. "Fine, I won't say anything." Dixie sighed, nodding.

Later than night, something was shaking ben slightly, causing him to awake from his slumber.

"Lucifer...?" Ben groggily yawned. "Yeah it's me, come on, I wanna show you something." Lucifer pulled Ben out of bed as the two sneaked downstairs and out of the house.

"Where are we going?" Ben rubbed his eyes, he was still sleepy. "Here" Lucifer moved some vines to reveal a vast, foggy canyon with numerous holes carved out of the dark, dull purple rock faces.

"What is this place?" Ben asked. "It's kinda where I'm from. Well, I'm from the four realms but when it got destroyed they sent us here and I had to start the life cycle all over again inside of mom. That's why me and you are twins."

"This is where the teleport pods used to be." Lucifer pointed to the the holes in the mountain.

"Woah." Ben then noticed the giant black crystal. "What's that thing?" Ben asked, pointing to it.

"Eh, it's just some old Four Realms junk, from a long time ago. It's probably busted by now"

Lucifer walked to the right while Ben looked worriedly at the crystal, he chuckled and motions to a hole in the side of a cliff.

"Hey Ben! Loo! Here's the hole I was teleported to! Then when mom was pregnant with you I was teleported to her stomach." Lucifer explained.

"Huh?" Ben raised his eyebrow. "It's my hole" Lucifer chuckled and slides into the entrance of the hole

"look--it's me size" he slides into the hole and sits, sighing in relief "still got that good hole smell."

Ben glances up at the other holes higher on the cliff side, they seemed to be filled with some sort of black and red goo. "So, what about the other holes?"

"Don't tell him, he'll get in the way getting Swan back!" the voice inside Lucifer head scolded, Lucifer nodded. "Don't worry about that."Lucifer chuckled.

Suddenly, Dixie stomped in, her face filled with anger. "There you are!" Dixie yelled. "Great" Lucifer exits the hole "here comes the fun police"

"The maids said you'd be here, but I didn't want to believe it. Lucifer, what were you thinking bringing Ben to a" Dixie then whispered the next part "The Canyon!?"

"I don't know" Lucifer kicked a pebble "we were in the neighborhood."

"Dixie-sensi, was Lucifer really from the Four Realms?"" Ben asked innocently.

"How much did you tell him?"

"What? You mean about the bad thing? How this bad place is where demons from the Four Realms and sent back to the four realms only when their old enough to come back and grow more demons? Is that what you're talking about?"

"They grew demons here?!"

"Lucifer, he's not ready!"

"Oh but don't worry, Ben. Everything's fine now." Lucifer pat Ben head.

"Lucifer."

"It's all worked out. We're gonna win!"

"Stop."

"And we'll get Swan back. Everything gonna be okay, that's what Araden told me."

"Who's Araden?" Ben asked.

"He's a demon, a voice that talks to me inside my head, he said he'll help me get swan back."

"Lucifer! That's enough!"

"Dixie-sensi?" Ben's never seen Dixie this mad. "Ben, I'm sorry. I never wanted you to see this horrible place." Dixie hugged Ben.

"Then why don't you just leave?!" Lucifer's eyes turned a dark red as he summed a whip, wrapping it around Dixie and throwing her against the black crystal.

"Admit it." he swung the whip towards Dixie, who dodges, causing the whip to slice through the leg of the crystal. "I'm just an emba-embarrassment to you!"

"Lucifer!" Dixie was picked up and thrown by Lucifer, she gasped "wait!"

Dixie summoned her light be energy spear "I don't wanna fight you!

""I wouldn't want to fight me neither!" Lucifer spin-dashes throwards Dixie, who dodges.

Dixie blasts energy-spheres from her spear at him. Lucifer jumps into the air, smashing his whip downwards.

Dixie steps on it and slices part of it off with her spear.

"You guys, stop it!" Ben yelled, running towards them.

"Stay out of this!" Lucifer tosses his whip at Ben, which wraps around his legs and causes him to fall.

Dixie jumped towards Lucifer and Lucifer tries to hit her with his whip. But, Dixie dodges each swing and kicked Lucifer away.

"Lucifer stop this! You can't beat me."

"I...don't...CARE!!!" Lucifer yelled, summoning two whips and wraps the ends of both atround Dixie's spear "I'm not gonna let you stand here and remind me of everything I hate about myself!"

Lucifer sends red beams of energy down the whips, which causes a huge explosion that slams Dixie against the crystal. Dixie laid there on the ground.

"I never asked for it be this way!" tears began to fall down his face "i never asked for Swan to die!"

"Lucifer..."

Do you know what Swan meant to me?! Do know what it was like to see Swan die?! The only girl that actually brought me happiness in this world shot and killed?! No you don't!"

"Lucifer..."

Ben ran in front of Dixie and stood in front of her, holding his arms out with tears in his eyes "Lucifer, please, no more! I know you're upset, but, I can't bear to watch you two hurt each other anymore!"

"Kill them!" Araden scolded. "But-" "Do you want Swan back or not?!" Araden yelled. I'm sorry Ben...I really am...

They all gasph upon hearing a creaking and rattling, they looked up to see the crystal about to collapse on all three of them.

Ben summons a bubble, which only manages to cover Dixie and himself.

"Lucifer! Lucifer, Lucifer, Lucifer!"

Lucifer began to run when there was a crashing noise and the crystal finally was toppling over onto Ben and Dixie.

"BEN!!!" Lucifer yelled, the crytsal fell making a giant boom. Lucifer wanted to run towards them but his body wouldn't let them.

"I'm taking over now! I make the rules! Not you!" Araden cackled as Lucifer eyes turned and even darker red.

Ben woke up hours later to see he was in one of the holes. Ben slowly climbed out to see the crystal on the floor.

He then noticed something familiar thru the rubble to see the crystal landed on Dixie. "DIXIE-SENSI!!!" Ben yelled, running over to his sensi's side.

"D-Di-Dixie-sensi! Please wa-wake up!" Ben cried as Dixie looked up at him, Ben could tell Dixie was barely alive.

"Ben, look at me" Dixie rested her hand on his cheek "you and your brother were like a sons to me. Please, as my last wish, bring back your brother. He's in the dark Ben, bring him into the light."

Dixie slowly closed her eyes and her hand slipped from Ben's cheek.

"Goodbye, my son..."

SO LOOK WHO'S ALIVE!!!! This girl!!! I like how I ended this chapter, got the whole "my son" part from the Theodosia song in Hamilton. Made me cry, man! It was such a beautiful song!!!

Anyways, we're a good 30 maybe 20 episodes from the end and I must say, I'm just so happy how good this book has gotten over the years.

I honestly thought you'd not like it. But apparently, my fever dream ideas got me to the point where I actually am comfortable in writing now.
