An Issue That Needs to ve Addressed

Hello everyone. It's been a long time since I last addressed anyone in my rant book or made an update.

The reason is solely due to the changes that have taken place in Wattpad. A few months ago, bullying was in trend. Now, when the issue has been obliterated, there has been another issue. Now, there is the issue of sexual harassment and rape threats to the people.

A week ago, a forty-five-year-old man tried to trap me with his words and asked me to marry him. And he's not the first one, or is he the last one I've faced.

However, this isn't about him. This isn't about all the creeps, the bots that have dominated Wattpad.

This is about something more serious than that. This is about the reason that has given these creeps the right to do what they are doing. This is about the authors swarming Wattpad. This is about their books.

Their vulgarity. Their rotten thoughts.

I've always believed that writing is more than just a word. It's an art. And when you can't teach a person with your writing, there is no meaning behind your writing.

It's useless. But everyone teaches something when they write. The sole purpose, however, is to differentiate between the classification of the moral. Is the teaching good or bad?

If it's good, it needs to be sunken into your bones. If it isn't good, it does not even deserve to exist.

In old eras, books were made thinking of the effect it might have on young minds. Those books taught us something valuable, something worth learning.

Today, however, some stereotypes have gained quite a popularity and writers feel obliged to write about the stereotypes. They don't consider the effects it might have upon the audience.

Rather, they just write whatever is popular to gain popularity for themselves too.

I've seen way too many books with millions of reads and no worth whatsoever. And you might know that I've shown my distaste towards them before and I won't be afraid to show it again.

Because they are the reason that this is taking place in the first place.

Authors have always promoted Bad Boys, Rapists, and Abusers.

For years, they have been getting more and more supporters. I see books in which the girl literally falls in love with her rapist. Her own wrongdoer.

What kind of rubbish is that? Did you ever see this happen in real life?

No. Right, I didn't either. Maybe because it does not happen. But whenever I try to raise my voice and say it's wrong, the supporters blast my comment section and tell me I'm dumb.

That what the girl is doing is the right thing to do. To fall in love with your rapist, to submit to your abuser's commands, to let a man buy you is alright.

I was told once by a girl in a comment, "Please, she should listen to her husband. That is what we are reached, to listen and do whatever we are told. Don't stop us from teaching this to everyone."

Does this need to be taught? No. This needs to be demolished.

Women are not pets. They have all the right to not be at the mercy of a man. But these books show that the bad guy is the King, while the girl is just a trashy doormat.

And this is what people are learning. When we read a book, our mind instills the teachings in it.

Boys learn to become abusers. They start to think it's the right path, that lighting a cigarette and raping girls will make them look cool.

Girls start to think that the guy is right even he isn't. They start becoming weak and feeble. They get afraid. They stop being themselves.

Many times, the Main Lead hates the cheerleader who wears nice fashionable clothes and walks while jingling her hips.

Let me tell you somethinggirls. There is nothing wrong with walking like that. I walk like that. All the models walk like that. Its called walking with style.

As for the clothes, every human has the right to wear whatever he/she wants. Stop judging people on their clothes.  I wear dresses, so what? You'll start calling me a slut too?

Even when I'm anything but that? Will you call me a whore too?

Is this what we are teaching?

To all the authors out there who are writing all this, you should be ashamed of yourself. A writer isn't the one who promotes wrong things, a writer is throne who promotes the good things. Teaches the people good lessons.

You know what you're like. "I don't have any idea what to do next. So, let's rape, kidnap or abuse the girl for no reason. Add a suicide with no prelude whatsoever. Give the girl a tragic backstory or give the rapist a tragic back story. The readers will love it."

The sad part is that readers do love it. They support it. I feel so ashamed of humanity when I look at those people.

Don't you have any shame, any regret? Don't you have a heart, feelings or empathy? Anything?

Doesn't your soul shake when you write and support these things?

Mine does, so stop this. Please, I'm begging you.

Let me rephrase a Wattpad guideline for you:

What Wattpad Removes

Pornographic Content. Wattpad considers content to be pornographic when it exists solely for the purpose of sexual stimulation.

Age of Consent. The age of consent is 16+ on Wattpad. Any sexual content between characters must abide by this age of consent and not be in violation of Canadian Law.

Glorification of Sexual Violence. Wattpad classifies non-consensual sexual acts to include rape, sexual assault, kidnapping for sexual purposes, or sexual slavery. The content cannot be encouraging or promoting of non-consensual sex acts.

Sexual Roleplay or Messaging. Wattpad does not permit sexual messages or solicitation. This includes posting content which encourages sexual private messages, on or off Wattpad, or posting rules for public or private roleplay that are intended for sexual purposes.

Illegal Sex Acts. In accordance with Canadian Law, any content which encourages illegal sex acts including, but not limited to, bestiality or necrophilia, will be removed.

You read the guidelines. According to this, half the books on Wattpad should've been deleted by now. But they don't get deleted.

Why? Because people support them and do not report them. It's my request to you to report a book like this.

Please. I know those books are your guilty pleasure, but you're contributing to a greater cause. If children don't read such things, they won't do such things.

It's just that simple. You do what you've been told and taught when you're a kid. If we tell and teach them abuse, the world might come to an end.

More than half of our audience are young children. Don't do this to the young minds.

Humanity will come to an end.

Please stop this! Please.

Tag all the authors you know who write such books and ask them to stop.

I know you know more. Please tell them to stop.

Fun Facts

• Millionaires and Billionaires don't have time for random girls nor do they threaten them to marry or sleep with them. It is a punishable offense and even their money can't save them if they do that.

• Gang leaders, bad boys, and millionaires don't fall in love at first sight. They've met thousands of girls, and your worthless MC is just one of them. They aren't going to spot something different in them.

• Bad boys are bad for a reason, girls. The authors who write those cliches have never met one. I have met many bad boys. Trust me, you'll cower or pee in your pants if you knew how bad they actually are.

My whole life has been troubled with bad boys. So, trust me when I say this: Don't believe those darn cliches.

• Don't write a sex scene if you haven't ever experienced it or don't know the details. Trust me, you suck. Most of the smut on Watty looks like it's straight out of pornhub. And that's a big insult.

• Stop writing rubbish. You're not educating anyone by it.

Please tag all the people you can.
