Dipper's POV
Wendy and I were at my house trying to figure out what happened.
"Okay, so you told her what I told you to tell her....."
"She kissed me and then said bye boyfriend. I like Tambry, but just not like that. I don't want to hurt her, but I just don't want to be in a relationship right now." Wendy just stared at me. I could tell with her expression that she was thinking of a plan.
"What if you let her down easy with a song?" I gave her a weird look.
"A song?"
"Yeah, Tambry is totally into songs, especially when it has meaning. Not like that stupid psy with his songs, or however you pronounce his dumb name."
"Yeah, you know they have a statue of him in South Korea?"
"No wonder Candy loves his songs?" We both laughed a little. Then the door opened and Bill and Mabel come in.
"Did you guys figure out how your going to let Tambry off easy?" Mabel asked.
"Yep, I need to write a song." I said smiling a little.
"Great! I'm awesome at writing music." Mabel said with enthusiasm.
"Mabel, it took you two months to write a song, and when you were done it was just the Duck Tales theme song."
"Well at least I have some class." I just rolled my eyes.
"Well dudes, I have to go. Dad wants me to practice for the next coming lumber lady competition." Wendy said grabbing her hat.
"Bye."
"Bye."
"Remember not to cut off any heads." Bill said. I starred at him and then just shook it off. It's Bill, what do you expect.
Later That Night
I was finishing up the song with Bill. Well he mostly just watched me and threw a idea here and there.
"Alright, I think I'm done." I said excited.
"Hey Dipper, I ment to ask you, where did you get the piano at?" Bill asked.
"My mon got it for the family. I watched my dad play a little and I was instantly in love with music." I said placing my hands on the keys.
"Cool, whatever happened to your old man. I don't see any pictures in the house." I stopped and closed my eyes and then open them again. I don't like talking about him.
"I don't want to talk about it."
"Dipper, it's fine, I won't judge." He put his hand on my shoulder.
"Bill, I just want to play my song, if you don't want to listen....."
"No, I do. Just making sure your-" He took his hand off.
"I'm fine." I sighed. Then I began playing.

I stopped and looked at him. He had a big smile.
"That was incredible! I never knew you could sing." I laughed a little.
"Kind of a hidden talent, I guess. Hey what time is it?" I asked Bill. I wanted to wake up good tomorrow and make sure I had everything ready.
"It's right there, can't you see it?" Actually, I couldn't. My eyesight was kind of blurry. I guess I shouldn't read books and have my nose completely in them. I shook my head no.
"Oh, do you need glasses?" Bill asked.
"No. I'm fine." Bill stepped back and held up a yellow paper.
"Alright, if your fine, read this." I tilt my head and scrunched my eyes up.
"T-tomato...... and Sea?" Bill laughed.
"Talent Show. You need glasses and you need to audition next year. They kind of have it all filled in now." I rolled my eyes. Bill held my face. "Doing that will make it worse." He them bopped my nose. I laughed a little. "Your laugh is adorable." I looked up at him.
"O-okay. I need to go to bed. Do you want to stay over again?"
"Yeah, and I need to tell you something Dipper." I sat up and streched and yelped a little. "What's wrong?" Bill asked concerned.
"Nothing, I kind of been sitting for a while and my back just hurts a little. It's fine though. I'll get some blankets and a pillow for you." I went and got the blankets and pillow. When I came back I see all my stuff was packed away. Bill was smiling at me.
"You didn't need to do that you know."
"I know, but I did." I sat on the floor and was making his "bed" for him. Then he stopped me.
"I got this, but why don't you lay on your bed and I can help your back." I gave him a funny look. He pulled me up.
"Bill, it's fine." I laid down on the bed when Bill wouldn't let me set up his bed. I laid on my stomach and he raised up my shirt. I pulled it back down.
"I won't hurt you. I promise." I let out a sigh.
"Okay." He raised up my shirt again and placed his hands on my back. He then pushed down a little and I heard a little pop.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
"Mhm." It felt really nice actually. I heard him laugh a little. Then he kept pressing my back. It helps if you let the joints breathe and hear the popping noise. I'm glad that Bill did this. Soon I fell asleep.
The Next Day
I sang Tambry the song at lunch and she took it easy. Luckily everyone was outside because Mabel, Nate, and Lee put up a water slide. Thompson was the first down and soon everyone was outside watching them and joining in on the fun. So it was just her and me, and I sang her the song. She was upset at first but then huge me.
"Thank you for just being you. I'm sorry for being to clinging lately. It's just...." I hugged back.
"It's fine, you'll find someone great one day, I promise."
