*SMACK!*

Midoriya Izuku had just cracked one of his classmates at Aldera Junior High with a powerful left hook, knocking the poor guy off his feet as well as out of consciousness. Despite the amount of damage he received, it appeared as if it weren't even there. This was the work of his quirk.

He discovered that he didn't receive his quirk from his mother nor Midoriya Hisashi. Midoriya Inko had the ability to attract small items (or large yet thin or hollow depending on her mood) and Hisashi's quirk was Fire-Breath, the ability to manipulate fire from his mouth and spew it out like a tornado. Izuku figured out this fact that his quirk wasn't even hereditary from either side of the family, and thus named it Quick-Fix. His quirk allowed his body to immediately start working on any wound, no matter how big or small, the moment it was inflicted onto his body.

Izuku's body relaxed, the boy's lackeys looked at the young man in amusement before picking their friend and carrying him away from the green-haired 14 year old. Midoriya looked behind him at the other boy who was getting bullied by the three. He stated that they attacked him due to him having a weak and ugly looking quirk that allowed him to extend his fingernails a whole meter. The healer placed his hand on the back of the neck of the other teen, healing him from any injuries that the bullies may have given him. "Hey, cheer up. You know, instead of being ashamed of it, why don't you look at all the pros of your power! If a villain only had a mid-range quirk use, you could get in a one meter range, and incapacitate him!"

The boy looked up and began to agree, stating that he had to go home before his parents started to worry about him.

This changed the emerald-eyed teen's demeanor for a second, but it was short enough to not be noticed. He smiled back and began to walk towards the school for his classes. He looked at his hands before deciding that he still needed to train more under his uncle since he was still taking too many punches than what should've been allowed.

Inside the classroom, Midoriya set down his stuff, folded his arms, and rested his head on them. His quirk, Quick-Fix, may have healed his body at fast rates, but required energy and much protein to do so. This meant that the boy must eat a lot in order to keep himself healthy, something that never really bothered him due to his own training regimen set up by his uncle and aunt-in-law. He lazily fished out a protein bar out of his pack, remembering how athletes on the western side of the world would eat these after a hardcore workout or doing something that wore them down to the brink of exhaustion.

The class went by in a flash almost. Izuku and another kid in the class were ahead of the lesson plan with the top scores in the class, despite their delinquent nature. Once it neared the final bell of the day, the teacher decided to speak about the near future.

"Alright, now we need to start discussing job plans... oh what the hell. All of you want to be heroes, right?"

The class roared in agreement, showcasing their many quirks minus two specific individuals. "You do realize that using your quirks here are illegal, right? However, I know many of you could be a good addition to other workplaces. Like you, Kaitan. Your hand turning into a gun, or "Handgun" as you like to call it, you could help greatly in the police force." He would've continued on, but was interrupted by someone.

"Hey, Teach! Don't lump me in with these batch of losers! I'm the only one that could really make it to the pros!" This was the shout of a blonde-haired and red-eyed teen, Bakugou Katsuki. His quirk: Explosion. He secretes a nitroglycerin-like sweat on his palms and forearms that can be used to blast off explosions. His drawback? If he creates too many explosions, his arms will begin to go numb and his quirk will begin to lose power.

Obviously with the right gear and training, he could really make it far into the hero world.

"Ah yes. Bakugou. You applied for Yueei, right?" The teacher didn't know it, but his question set off a bunch of reactions from his class.

"Yuuei? Really?" "The most prestigious hero school in Japan?" "I heard their acceptance rate this year was next to none!" "No you idiot, it was 0.2%" "That's still close!"

"Shut it, you extras! Unlike all of you, I have what it truly takes to be a hero! I aced the mock tests too! Maybe if you all paid attention enough, then you might've been lucky enough to be my sidekick in the future, not that I'd let any of ya!" He held this grin on his face that said, "Don't believe me? Just watch!"

"And Midoriya, you wanted to join Yuuei as well, am I correct?" The green haired teen lifted his head off his arms and nodded. His agreement was met by an explosive blonde.

"Deku! You really think they'll accept you?!" "Yeah Baka-hatsu! You're not the only one that aced the mock tests! I even finished early, too!" The two boys rammed their foreheads into each other, sparks between their eyes as it went on.

"Listen here you little shit!" "You really wanna go, you damn dog!?" They said nothing for a few seconds before they collapsed in laughter, Katsuki wrapped his arm around Izuku's neck and started messing with his hair.

"When were you going to tell me you applied to Yuuei?" "I was going to leave it as a surprise for the entrance exam. Thought you couldn't get by without me around to clean up after yourself." The whole class released a breath they didn't even know they were holding, realizing that a fight wasn't going to break out between the two friends.

The final bell rang, and everyone went home for the day. Midoriya told Katsuki that he'd see him whenever he went to visit their place today after seeing his mother, and the blonde left for town, going to buy some things for dinner. The green-headed teen set his books into his locker before grabbing his bag and leaving the school.

His mother was someone that was always on his mind, hoping that one day they'll be able to have a conversation again, but he knew that it wouldn't be until later in life that this would happen. Head raised back up, Midoriya made his trek to the hospital from the school grounds.

Let's go back a bit, shall we?

Musutafu Japan

Two Years prior to current day

Twelve year old Midoriya just got back from school after choosing to hang out with his friends. The boy only just walked into the apartment he lived with his mom in when she started to yell at him.

"Izuku! What have I told you about getting into fights at school?! This is the fourth one this week and it's only Tuesday!"

You see, Izuku found out that with his quirk and training in martial arts from his uncle, he notices all of the hate and bullying being dealt towards kids who have low level quirks or none at all. Taking a stand, Midoriya starts to become a delinquent, fighting those who looked down upon others simply because they weren't as high as they think they were or something along the lines of that. Sure, he did it to protect the ones who couldn't defend themselves, but he found out that he enjoyed fighting more than he thought he did, getting into more fights because of it.

"Mom, this time was different. They were picking on a ki-" "I don't want to hear excuses, Izuku! So what! Go to a teacher or something, don't break their fucking nose!" The younger Midoriya starts to feel his anger rising, and starts moving towards the door.

"Where do you think you're going, young man? We're not finished!" "Yes, Mom, we are! Now shut up and let me be by myself!" He regretted what he said, giving an apology.

"I'm sorry, Mom. I shouldn't have said that, but I need some time alone. I'll be home before curfew." He closed the door and ran, not hearing the door reopen and the footsteps of his mother running after him until it was too late. There was a loud screeching sound, and a large thud heard before he turned around, and what met his eyes was more terrifying than he's ever seen.

There, lying on the street about thirty feet away from a car, was his mother sprawled across the pavement. "Mom? MOM!" He ran over as fast as he could, kneeling down beside her and trying to get a response. Receiving nothing, guilt immediately started to become dread, and he put his ear down next to her chest where her heart should be.

'Come on, come on, come on! Give me something! Anything' There was nothing for a few seconds, but a faint heartbeat was heard as he sighed in relief. He looked over at the car and immediately got angry as he saw a person just standing there.

"Don't just fucking stand there looking like you don't know where the fuck you are! FUCKING CALL AN AMBULANCE BEFORE I BEAT THE SHIT OUTTA YOU AND ORDER ONE FOR TWO!" The person immediately scrambled and got his phone out, calling the paramedics to their location. Midoriya just looked back at his mother, only just now seeing her injuries.

Inko's left arm and leg had been bent all the wrong ways, her ribs looked like they were broken, which wasn't good for her lungs as they could possibly be punctured. She has a massive head wound, blood running down her face. He could only wish that his quirk could be transferred over to her, willing to lose it if it meant that she'd be saved.

'Wait. What I tried to focus my healing through my hand? It could work, but what if it doesn't?' There was no time to just sit around. He had to act now if he wanted to save his mom. Clearing everything in his mind, he tried focusing to move the healing throughout him, it was a weird feeling at first, seeing that it usually just heals by itself, but he felt the tug and pull of his inner power, and it went straight to his hand which started to emanate a white glow, thinking quickly, he put his hand onto her arm, seeing some skin repair itself and feeling the bone start to bend back and heal as well. Once he was finished, he desperately moved his hand to her leg and began the same process, and feeling successful, but drained, but that wouldn't stop him, not until he passed out. He moved his hand to her abdomen, feeling the internal organs start to be repaired. He finally moved to the chest, but couldn't see anything more as he started to pass out. Using the last of his power before losing consciousness, he desperately tried to repair the ribs, but the black void claimed his eyesight as he fell to the ground next to the most important person in his life.

He woke up in the hospital, the blinding lights greeting him as the young man covered his eyes, opening them when they had adjusted. Gaining his bearings and immediately hopping out of the bed, the young man searched all over, looking for a doctor or anyone, but for some reason there were none on his floor. He went to the desk, no one. The emergency room, not a soul. It wasn't until Midoriya checked downstairs did he find someone, and immediately asked his question.

"Where's my mom, Midoriya Inko, being held?" The nurse sitting behind the front desk looked in the computer system for the person he was looking for and found a match.

"Room 203, second floor and to the west side of the building." Giving a quick thanks, Izuku bolted up the stairs, not really wanting to wait for the elevator.

'199, 200, ... there! Room 203!' He burst into the room and found his mother laying down peacefully, but dangerously pale. He summed it up to blood loss. However, he didn't care about anything. His mother was alive! He healed her enough in time for her to make it through surgery for any other possible wounds that he wasn't able to get. He grabbed her hand, sat down in a chair, and fell asleep next to the most important person in his life.

This was all at around three in the morning.

It wasn't until Bakugou Mitsuki, Katsuki's mom, burst through the door at 2 in the afternoon did Young Midoriya awake. Lifting his head, he slipped his hand out of his mother's grasp and stretched his back, hearing multiple pops.

Don't fall asleep sitting down.

The older woman wrapped her arm around the green-haired preteen, holding him tight and giving her apologies.

The doctor followed her inside and immediately told the boy the situation.

"Son, I don't know what you did, but when the paramedics arrived, they found the two of you unconscious. Your mother's wounds were almost completely missing-" Izuku cut him off. "It's my quirk. Normally, my body is able to heal itself in a short period of time, no matter how big the injury. I was just able to somehow figure it out, and was able to use it on her." Mitsuki was surprised and amazed. Sure it was terrible that it took such a horrifying experience to figure out other ways for him to use his quirk, but she was proud and amazed at how he managed to do so with someone's life on the line.

"Remarkable, simply remarkable. What you did yesterday stabilized your mother just long enough for the paramedics to get her and quickly bring her here. However, there is some bad news." The female doctor waited for a sign from the boy for her to continue, which she got quickly.

"Unfortunately, despite our efforts, your mother has succumbed to a coma. We don't know how long she will be in this state, but you won't have to worry about medical expenses. Due to your mother's study and workplace in the medical ward, her insurance will cover her bills. But for the time being, you will have to stay with another family member unless you really want to stay in your place of living all by yourself until your mother wakes up. Is your father in town or living in the household with you?"

"No. I don't even know where he is. He left as soon as he heard that my quirk wasn't like his fire-breath or my mom's attraction of small objects. Haven't seen him since. But my uncle Chaos and his wife Sky do live in the area! They live not too far from our apartment complex in Musutafu!"

"Is that where you'll want to stay?" "No doctor. I want to continue living in the apartment I'm in now. If I ever have any trouble, the Bakugou family-" he gestured to Mitsuki, "- are not too far away and my uncle is just about fifteen minutes by train."

"Very well. I'm sorry that we couldn't do more than we have, but you are the one we should be thanking. That power of yours really is a lucky one to have. Healing quirks are rare nowadays since all everyone usually has are simple ones or super powerful defensive or offensive powers. You're really lucky, kid." With that, she turned around and left the room. The younger boy sat back into the chair, leaning further into the woman he's come to acknowledge as his aunt.

Outskirts of Geonosis Hospital

Present Day

Izuku sat down and talked to his mom.

"Hey mom. I just came by to tell you how my week's been so far. I surprised Katsuki today by telling him that I decided on becoming a hero, and that I would like to travel the world and study Martial Arts as well. Maybe even open up my own tea shop in the Kyouksei region when I retire. Should've seen his face, he was pissed!" He laughed, but knew he wouldn't receive a response. But knowing and actually witnessing it were two different things, he lost his expression from the latter.

"I can't help but to think of that day, wondering what if I just talked things out with you instead of walking out like a brat. If you don't show signs of waking up soon, then I promise that I'll do everything that I can to help you heal. I only wish you can watch me grow into the hero you always envisioned for me when I was younger." Looking at the clock, he grabbed his bag and skateboard and stood up.

"I better get going. I promised Aunt Mitsuki that I would come over for dinner. I love you mom. I'll you tomorrow after my training with Chaos tomorrow." With that, he kissed his mother on the forehead, hoping for at least any form of movement, but he knew that wouldn't be happening anytime soon. He left the hospital, going onto the streets and cruising on his skateboard. He tuned everything out as he listened to My Disaster by Silverstein. The band was long since dead, but the green-haired boy came across their music while just looking for some wind-down songs.

Once he reached an underpass, he was knocked off his board by some sludge. Looking up, he saw that the thing had eyes and a weird looking mouth.

"Perfect! A skinsuit! Hey kid, I'm just going to use your body until I reach the other side of town! Then I'll drop it off in a ditch or something!"

He could only say a sentence, this was after, of course, he gained a massive grin on his face.

"Oh shit. I mean that's what you look like, sure, but damn are you fuckin ugly." He dodged a swipe aimed at his face and rolled out of the way as the villain came flying at him. "And a terrible aim. What are you, a sewage quirk user? Or did you just rub that shit all over you. It smells bad too." Covering his nose, Midoriya waved his hand whilst the literal sludge just grew even angrier.

"I'M GONNA FUCKING KILL YOU BRAT!" Midoriya picked up his board and slammed the wheel of the board in the monster's eye, making him reel back in pain while he pulled out his taser and jabbed it into the villain's neck, feeling a bit disgusted as some of the sludge got on him. A few thousand volts knocked him out and he fell and splattered onto the floor. It was at this time that the Number One Hero, who had been following the guy, turned the corner, fixing to deliver his signature Texas Smash to the villain, but stopped once he saw him in a puddle.

"Wha-?"

Midoriya heard the voice and his eyes widened.

"No fucking way. All Might?!"

"Er-Yes young man! I am here! But I have to ask, how did you apprehend this villain? You didn't use your quirk without a license did you?"

"I would hardly call him a villain. He couldn't even take down a kid who essentially fights quirkless unless he landed a blow on me. Can't get in trouble if my body was never touched, now can it?"

All Might looked down at the boy in amusement. This boy took down a villain with pure strategy and strength alone? No Quirk usage whatsoever?

"I see my boy. That is quite the feat! I must ask, what is your name, young man?" "Izuku. Midoriya Izuku."

"Midoriya-Shonen. Thank you for taking down this villain. I can clean him up if you want." The roided-up looking blonde pulled out to soda bottles and began stuffing the sludge dude inside of them.

"Listen All Might. I have a question for you-" "I'm sorry young man. But I must be getting off now! Write to me in a letter and maybe I will reply!" The hero squatted down and prepared his jump, releasing all the force in his legs and flew to the skies. Shock waves rocked the area he left and it was interesting to say the least.

'Now that I think about it, my legs do seem heavier for some reason. Wonder what the hell happened.'

"Ne, All Might-San." The hero looked down at his leg and saw the reason behind the extra weight. What he wasn't expecting was for the kid with green and black hair to be holding onto his leg, using his uniform blazer as a face mask so as to not have wind messing up and drying his face up.

"Midoriya-Shonen!" "YOU NEVER LET ME ASK MY QUESTION YOU BASTARD!" Man. Today just wasn't the Symbol of Peace's day.

"I must ask you to release me!" "Um, do you know how high up we are, right now?! Jesus, I may have a healing quirk, but I don't want to chance a fall from this height!" All Might realized this, and decided to just land on a building as quickly as possible, let the boy ask his question and answer, and leave before his time limit ran out.

A couple of seconds later, the two were on top of a building. Izuku was beginning to grow tired as his quirk kicked into gear, healing the soreness in his arms from the force that was pulled whenever All Might left the ground. It hurt like hell, making him feel as if one of his shoulders were definitely dislocated as he heard the snapping back into place. "I'm gonna feel that tomorrow."

"Midoriya-Shonen. What exactly is your quirk?" The hero overheard the boy, and remembered just who he was with.

"Oh! Well my quirk is actually purely unique, actually. I named it Quick-Fix. Have you ever seen Dragon Ball?" "Yes, it was actually one of my favorite shows." "Well it works like the Senzu Beans. Except instead of regaining stamina, it uses my stamina and energy to heal any injuries. Small ones like light cuts aren't too exhilarating, but big ones like dislocations and such, those tendons repairing themselves do not feel good, and it takes more energy. That's the drawback of this power. I can also heal others' wounds, but that takes even more energy from me, and it also varies on how badly the other person is injured."

'Amazing. He's able to completely use his quirk for himself, or for others but always with a cost. He's also trained in fighting, judging from his take-down of that one villain without even getting a scratch on him.' "Midoriya-Shonen, while I admit that your quirk is simply interesting, I must be going."

"No wai-" "I'm sorry boy but I cannot wait!"

"Just-" His mind flashed back to when his mother got hit by the car. To see her flying through the air. How he just felt empty. "My mother is in a coma because of me, because of my quirk. She was just looking out for me while the last words that I said that actually hurt her was to shut up and leave me alone. But all that time, not a single fucking hero came around to help until the day after, and all she did was just scold me for using my quirk without permission. So answer me something, All Might?" Tears were coming down at this point. He closed his eyes, taking a second to wipe away the tears that marked his face. When he opened them back up, All Might was supposed to be there.

But for some reason, steam was rolling off of the beefed-up hero, who couldn't hide the charade any longer. A cloud of smoke exploded from All Might, covering the area for around five seconds. The young teen coughed out a lung before reopening his eyes, expecting to see the buffed-up blonde, however, what he got was a scrawny-looking old man with sunken in facial features.

"Wait a minute. What the fuck happened? One minute All Might was standing there, the next is this dude? Who are you anyway?"

"Young man, I can assure you that I am indeed All Mig-gahh." He didn't get very far into his explanation before he coughed up enough blood to donate three times. This just made the boy stop again in his tracks. It also reminded the younger of the two of this one teacher he had who coughed up a liter each day. Wonder if he's related to Oreki-Sensei.

"Well shit. If you really are All Might, I wonder who fucked you up bad enough to knock you into a skinny person."

"I used to be able to hold that form for a whole day without repercussions, no matter how much I push out. Then, five years ago, after this-" The now skinny blonde pulled up his shirt, revealing a nasty looking scar underneath that seemed to cover his entire torso with a puncture point in his left side. "Boom. My career as a hero had been cut down from a whole day, to just barely five without pushing myself, four going all out."

"You said five years ago, right? That scar must have been from the same time from your fight with Toxic Chainsaw, correct?"

"Hm. I'm surprised someone so young knows about a fight that barely any of the world population knew. And yes, somewhere around there. Someone much worse did this to me, someone who is thankfully no longer a threat." The blonde went on to explain to the team about how he still kept on pushing past his own limits for others, no matter the cost.

After all, the Symbol of Peace must never waver.

"You said that the main reason your mother was in the hospital was because of you. Would you care to elaborate?"

"Yeah. About two years ago my mom and I got into a fight, one that I regret getting into ever since. She was getting on me about getting into too many fights in and out of school because of my quirk. Saying about how if I continued going down this road that I may end up getting killed. I was angry, telling her to shut up. I of course apologized but I stormed out of the house. She followed after me, even while I was crossing the street, but when I turned around, a car nailed her before either of us could react to it. She had multiple life threatening injuries, and I was worried that she wouldn't make it."

All Might cut off the boy before he started his next sentence. "That's when you figured out for the first time that you could transfer your healing abilities to someone else, but with a larger cost on your stamina. The more life threatening, the more energy you lose as well as being knocked conscious, correct?"

"Yeah. I was able to heal most of them before I blacked out. I woke up in the hospital the next day, drained and hungry. I ran all over the place looking for my mom, but when I found her she hadn't woken up yet. The doctor told me that it would be a long while until she did, so I've been going to the hospital everyday for the past two years in hopes that she would wake up whenever I'm there." There was a faraway look in Midoriya's eyes when he finished talking.

"Well, shonen, I hope that she will wake up soon. Earlier, you asked me if I thought that someone who put their own mother in the hospital could be a hero, which I assume that you were talking about yourself. Right now, I see someone who is putting a lot of pressure and self doubt upon themself. You're only thinking about the fact that she's in the hospital in the first place. But remember the fact that she was even able to make it to the hospital because of you. Yes, you stormed out on her which in turn made her chase after you, but when she was laying on the pavement, broken and battered, you gave her back the chance of continuing to live in this world. She may be in a coma, but she's alive because of you.

You saved her life because of your quick thinking. Combine that with the combat experience, that's pro- no. Pure hero material. Currently, as you are with your head filled with doubt and poor judgement, no. I don't believe that you could be a hero. But, if you learn that even through the bad things, there are some good, you will learn that you can be a hero, someone who puts their own life on the line for the sake of others, making sure everyone else is either safe or secure before your own; that's not recklessness- well it is- but rather, that's compassion. So more of that, and you will be a damn fine hero someday."

Izuku's eyes started brimming with tears a little bit as he took in the hero's words. However, before he could do anything or reply, an explosion was set off not too far from the building the two were conversing atop of. The teen looked at All Might's pants and saw the bottles he used to capture that sludge villain from earlier were now missing. Putting two and two together, Midoriya just sighed out and released a small "dammit" under his breath.

"Well All Might, it looks like I have to get going now. My apartment is back that way-" he pointed to where the smoke was coming from, "-and I don't want to get caught up in traffic. I promised a couple friends I'd meet them for this get-together thing we always hold, and the school clothes aren't going to help with what we got in mind. I guess I'll be seeing ya." The green haired teen grabbed his bag and his skateboard and proceeded down the staircase to the ground floor.

The tall blonde skinny man buffed up one more time and jumped off into the hidden alleyway below, deflating and proceeding to jog over to the scene to watch what had transpired.

Back with the greenette, as he rolled through the streets, he felt something grow on the back of his neck as he felt something was off about the way the sludge villain immediately reacted after leaving its plastic chamber. It was as if another victim got caught up in the attack. Deciding not to leave it unchecked, Midoriya strolled up behind the crowd gathered to see what exactly was happening.

The explosion from earlier had set off a couple of chain reactions, flames now covered the entire alleyway; this forced a couple of pros away as their quirks were either being used to put out the fire, or weren't well suited against the rampaging flames. Another explosion went off, this time he was able to see where it came from as the familiar pops of a quirk he knew fairly well started making a sound. Looking back at the villain, Izuku saw the blonde spiky hair and blood red eyes he knew all too well.

His childhood friend, Bakugo Katsuki, was the latest victim for the sludge villain. The blood red eyes looked around in fear as he couldn't breathe, feeling his airway being blocked and losing more much needed oxygen. They looked around for help, and they finally found and locked onto someone.

Emerald met Crimson as the two boys made eye contact, and that finally sparked something into the green haired protagonist as his feet moved before his mouth or mind. A determined grin and hardened eyes made their way onto his face, as he used the police officer that was blocking his way as a human trampoline, pushing off the head of the officer that had little to no time to even react as to what was happening before he flew forward and onto the pavement due to the sheer strength the push gave.

Flying at fast speeds towards the villain, Izuku extended two fingers from his right hand, shifting his body so that his attack would have an effect.

"Kid, what are you doing? Let the pros handle this before you get yourself killed!" Kamui Woods, a relatively new hero in the workforce, tried to capture the kid with his quirk; however, the boy spun through the openings of the wooden limb that was trying to ensnare him.

"You guys aren't doing anything! That's my friend in trouble and no one is even trying to approach the villain!" The spinning seemed to give him even more momentum as he broke through the sludge that was thrown by the villain.

"TRY THIS OUT! ON THE SPOT TECHNIQUE: ONE THOUSAND YEARS OF SPINNING DEATH!!!" Stabbing the villain's eye with his fingers, Sludge Dude finally let go of the blonde that was in his grasp, allowing air to be inhaled into the much needed lungs of the boy. Midoriya saw this, and quickly grabbed onto the one arm that wasn't absorbed into the sludge, and began pulling with everything.

"Deku! What the hell are you doing?!" "I'm attempting to save my brother because none of these fucking heroes are even trying to figure a way to use everything to their advantage, dammit! If I stood there any longer, then I would've had to watch as my best friend died and for two parents to bury their son! As a human being-" he ducked under a wild swing from the sludge villain and delivered a powerful left hook to its other eye, now blinding it, "-I COULDN'T LET THAT HAPPEN WHILE I COULD STILL DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!!"

As those words came out of his mouth, there was a light in a certain hero's eyes who had previously felt helpless for being unable to do anything was reignited. Steam was being released as the citizens looked back to see what was happening. But before the smoke cleared, a certain roided up blonde shot out of the steam and landed a heavy blow onto the sludge villain's face, rendering it dazed. Using the opportunity, Izuku pulled with all his strength and finally got Bakugo out of the villain's clutches.

"Tch! Try to take my body from me. WELL CHEW ON THIS, YOU BASTARD!!" Katsuki let loose a massive explosion in the sludge villain's face, causing it to morph weirdly and cause a lot of pain. Thinking quickly, Izuku then spun once more, letting Katsuki's explosion quirk to spin him fast like a table top. After a minute, while the villain tried to get their senses together, Midoryia released Bakugo, the latter speeding like a bullet with an arm cocked back, while the former sped forward with his foot raised above his head.

"EXPLOSIVE COMBO: HELL'S AXE!!!" The two boys yelled at the same time, probably having this move practiced at one point in their life, and attacked. Katsuki went above and unleashed a massive explosion, causing the villain to stumble forward, right into Izuku's path, who started his leg in a quick downward motion. The appendage connected to the slime, and said slime was splattered all over the floor. The villain was out cold as the two boys gave each other a celebratory thumbs up.

"Woah! What the hell just happened?" "It was those kids! The green one just jumped in and pulled a cool spinny move, then pulled the other kid out!" "Yeah, then they both defeated the villain while the six heroes did nothing!" "Man, what are they feeding these kids today?"

All the heroes present, even those off-patrol, were amazed at what just transpired. Two boys were able to work together efficiently to take down a villain that six of them couldn't even contain. The fact that this had happened had all of them start to question their careers, as all it took to begin the takedown was the actions of a boy who never even used his quirk.

However, despite their amazement, they still had to offer some words of discipline for going against a hero's orders, and rushing into a villain attack head on with no back up. This really didn't do anything for their popularity though; as soon as they were done with their words, the reporters surrounded the two boys.

"Why did you suddenly rush in to save this young man, without the use of your own quirk?" asked a reporter to Izuku. "Uh... when I got here, all I saw at first was the same slime villain that attacked me earlier, which I took down by myself the first time. Then, I saw six heroes, all standing around doing nothing except waiting around for someone else to show up instead of coming up with a way to use their own powers to complement the other. I thought up about seven different ways that it could've gone down without my sudden need to help out." That really poured salt into the six heroes' wounds as they all looked down in shame over how they didn't really do anything.

"And what gave you this need to suddenly rush in like you did?"

"I betcha I can answer this one for you Izu-bro. You see, we've known each other since we were little kids, sparring everyday, living together at times, and all that jazz. But I bet when we made eye contact while I was still held up in that sludge, there was nothing but pure instinct running through his head." The reporters wrote down everything the blonde boy had said, even noting down how the greenette nodded at every word.

"No, yeah. He's correct."

This went on before the two announced that they were going to be late for their family get-together.

"What are your names?!" Asked the final question as the two were running off.

"I'm Izuku Midoriya-" "-and I'm Katsuki Bakugo!" ""And we're both going to be heroes!" And with that, the two ran off, while the rest of the heroes gave their speeches.

No one noticed a skinny blonde man chasing after the boys.

"Alright, Broccoli Boy. You're gonna tell me how long you were practicing that move you did when you started charging in."

"Or what? You gonna lose in another one of our spars again?"

"What the fuck did you say, Grass-Dick?!" "You heard me, you albino hedgehog!" The two boys slammed their foreheads into each other, fixing to get into another fight, until their Idol came rushing around the corner.

"I AM HERE MAKING AN AWESOME APPEARA-!" he never got to finish as the two threw a haymaker towards each other, with him in their path. Fists met face, and sent him back about ten feet.

'"SHUT THE FUCK UP, ALL MIGHT!" Blonde and Green kept throwing blows at one another, until realizing who it was that they just smacked around.

""ALL MIGHT?!""

So. This is something I scrapped a long time ago, roughly around the time I started Greener Pastures. But I was going through my old notes and saw this story sitting in my docs. Let me know if you wanna see more!
