"SIR, we cannot! I fully object to let those creatures in the slumps work with us!" A standing man interjects another as his face quickly turns red.

"Give me reasons why." A low, jagged voice inquires from across the room from a lengthy man who twirls a wine cup with red liquid in it.

The room was dim, and there were only 5 people in the small space. The only light letting in was the night lit city that was placed right outside the window beside them. Filled chairs surrounded the rectangle table that stretched from one end to another. It was stuffy in the room as many of the men were shaking in fear, and not because of the rule that was about to be broken.

The man standing was shaking along with everyone else, violently as his face was ruby red. Sweat piled up on his forehead as his anxiety made his breaths shorter and shorter, making it hard to breath. However, on the other side of the room was a mono man who was unbothered by such fear in the mans eyes. He wasn't bothered by it, instead, he was flourished deeply by the sound of their voices shaking. It made him want to almost laugh as a devilish smirk took place on his lips, listening to the man jumble his words.

"W-well for one- they have none- no- experience, t-they- most of them are d-demons w-who wanna kill- us," his words were stumbling over another, and all the other frighten men looked down in defeat. "T-they have no m-money to dress them-s-selves properly a-and-"

"Enough." The man had never been so quick to shut his mouth at the demand. "I've heard enough."

The wine bottle was set down gently, and the man who had held it stood slowly from his seat. He stood tall, taller than any other man in the room. The man on the other side of the table was shaking uncontrollably, and now sweat dripped form his pores down onto the slick wooden table.

"Is the reason you don't want them here..is because your scared?" The tall man questioned in a teasing tone, making his way painfully slowly towards the elder.

The other male was frozen in his tracks, eyes wide and mouth open as his body was paralyzed in a state of fear.

"Or is it because you don't want them to rule the city of wealth and live freely among us?" He teases again, and this time he rushes forward - scaring the older man back down into his chair.

Now leaning over him, hands on both sides of the man, the other speaks in a whispering tone.

"Your bitter, aren't you old man?" A smirk plays along his lips as he speaks, fully aware the man was about to cry. "Well that's good, because so am I." He states, gripping the chair harshly.

Letting go, he stands back up stiffly and makes his way to the window.

"I, Yukhei Wong, shall make this place a living hell for those slump friends of ours." His dangerous tone echoes through the room, and everyone's eyes grow weary. "But, we must make friends with first, now won't we?"

A lint of red flashes through the mans eyes as he stares at himself through the window, an evil smile on his lips as a dirty little secret whispers itself to him.

"Won't we."

Mark had been in bed all day, by bed he means a mattress on concrete next to a dead bird. No place like home, he guesses. After passing out yesterday, he's been having a weird feeling. After telling Donghyuck about it, he suggested it must have been nausea getting to him. Mark wanted to agree, but he just couldn't get a feeling something was suppose to be happening.

Sitting up, he looks around to an empty house. It had chipped walls, bare floors and pieces of random furniture placed out. Getting up, he stretches as he feels all sore from getting hit by everyone's leg on the floor. Walking over to the kitchen area, he opens the cabinets to reveal canned foods. None that he liked of course, but had eaten his whole life.

"Donghyuck!" Mark yells out to the empty house, realizing nobody was there.

He sighed heavily before closing the cabinets, and going to sit on a accent chair with his feet in the seat. Looking out the window, he paused for a moment.

'I wonder where Donghyuck is.' Mark thought to himself silently, and speak of the devil, the next thing he knew the door flung open to reveal his boyfriend.

"Donghyuck, where were you?" Mark quickly asks, and then gasps as he sees a sack, no two sacks in Donghyuck hand. "What are those?" Mark quickly asks, standing to go rush by his lovers side.

"Food." Donghyuck pants, and sets the bags on a island that sat lonely in the middle of the kitchen.

"Food?" Mark asks curiously, and opened the bags expected to see more cans.

However, he didn't see a can in sight. Instead, he saw a bag of cereal, some fruit and a whole gallon of milk.

"H-how- where did you get this!" Mark asks in excitement, taking out everything in disbelief to its real ness.

"We got a new CEO and governor of the city, and he opened back up our supply of groceries. He's also turning back on our electricity, and get this-" A smile made its way to Donghyucks face, "he's letting everyone get a job application to work in the city!"

"This is amazing! Who is it?!" Mark asks, now eyes settling onto Donghyuck.

"I don't know, his name was Wong something? I didn't get to see him, but he was handing out food to people. I just took what I could from the boxes and got home back to you." The taller male explains.

"I wonder why he's doing this, I mean, he obviously seems nice but...isn't it strange?" Mark questions softly.

"What's strange?"

"That somebody is helping us just now, somebody new too." Mark thinks aloud.

"Maybe somebody finally stepped up after what happened yesterday." Donghyuck suggested, taking an apple in his hand.

"Maybe." Mark whispers, and stares at the food.

"Hey hey don't overthink this, this is good for us. Just, accept it." Donghyuck comforts as he takes Mark in his arms.

"Ok ok, I'll try." Mark reassures with a smile.

Their door is suddenly slammed open, and their heads snap that direction to see two boys with bags in their hands.

"Guys look at this! Somebody is feelin' good today!" Jaemin yells in excitement as he sets down the bags he was holding.

"Thanks for knocking." Donghyuck says sarcastically, letting go of Mark to see what Jaemin and Jeno got.

"At least I didn't walk into you guys banging like last time," Jaemin says, and then makes a face as he shivers, "how do I forget."

"Shut up! What did y'all get?" Mark interrupts, embarrassed by Jaemins comment.

"We got a ton of fruit, but that's only because Jeno wouldn't let me get the fatty foods." Jaemin complains, and Jeno furrows his eyes brows in offense.

"It's unhealthy for you! As if your not already unhealthy enough, but if you don't enjoy the food I'm trying to offer then leave!" Jeno yells at the taller.

"No I didn't mean it that way Jeno, I was just playing with you." Jaemin assures as he pulls Jeno into a side hug.

"You better be." Jeno says through gritted teeth.

After awhile of eating and making desserts and other things, the 4 teenagers were stuffed. Jeno and Jaemin went into a food coma as they took the broken couch while Mark and Haechan ended up talking about work.

"The building where the CEO works need a secretary, I could apply there." Mark thinks aloud as he scrolled through the ripped news paper from not long ago.

"I guess you could, but wouldn't it be better if you started off small? Like, I don't know, fast food?" Haechan suggests.

"Well what's the point of starting small if all I'm gonna do is go big? Might as well take a leap of faith." Mark states.

"Then go for it. I'll try and get a job at the food market." Haechan says, laying back on the mattress they were sitting on.

"Just don't put demon in your resume." Mark warns, folding the newspaper and setting it aside as he laid back with Haechan.

Haechan developed Mark in a tight hug, sighing as they embraced the silence.

"Mark." Haechan whispers.

"What?" Mark inquires, eyes closed as he lets the food coma slowly take over.

"Never mind. I love you."

"I love you too."
