Heereum didn't know why she dressed up this much. She knew what today was about and still she put in more than enough effort to look pretty. Why was she like this? She was about to get her heart broken, once again. Why must she put on a cute dungaree dress, when some sweatpants and shirt would have been enough.

She rolled her eyes, as she entered the café Ningning had picked out for their meet-up today. It was a cute small cafe in Hongdae. It was decorated in pink hues and had a flower wall, where you could take pictures in front of. It definitely looked like something, Ningning would like.

Heereum looked around the small café until she found her crush sitting at at table by the window; looking outside. Heereum held her breath. Ningning looked gorgeous! She wore a cute flowy blouse with a dainty daisy print and her ginger hair was in a high set ponytail, fixed with a bow.

The guitarist gulped and tried to not let her appearance get to her, but as always, her heart did a leap and she felt heat creep into her cheeks. She quickly looked away and fanned air into her face before walking over to Ningning and slipping into the bench opposite of her.

Ningning flinched when she saw the black-dressed woman slid into the bench and huffed out a breath, when she saw it was Heereum. "You're early" Heereum said quietly, while putting her mini backpack on the bench next to her.

Ningning smiled. "I was already in the area and thought I'd head inside already. It's pretty hot today, right?", she asked and Heereum nodded, while fixing her bangs. Ningning looked at the singer and smiled brightly. The Chinese woman seemed giddy, yet nervous.

"Here's the menu" she said and pointed at a picture of a cake, "the chocolate cake here is absolutely stunning!" The college student smiled at the singer and Heereum only nodded. She knew she was unreasonably cold towards the older female, but at the moment she couldn't care less.

She just waited for Ningning to drop the bomb about her dating her brother.

This morning, while Heereum had breakfast, Heeseung had looked at her from the other side of the table. He had a nervous look on his face, and didn't even properly converse with Yeonjun, who was talking to him about an E-Sports tournament.

Heereum had seen the antsiness in her brothers demeanor but continued eating her cereal without another care in the world. She knew Heeseung hoped for Heereum to be okay with him dating Ningning.

"I don't feel like eating cake today" Heereum said and turned the menu to look at the beverages instead. "Oh, really?", asked Ningning, heat rushing to her cheeks. "Yujin and I have a photo shooting for an alternative clothing brand next week. I'm trying to restrain myself from eating chocolate. I tend to get pimples from eating chocolate" Heereum explained and Ningning opened her mouth.

"Wow! That sounds super interesting!" The woman clapped into her hands and looked at the singer. "Oh, by the way! Did you check out the pictures I posted onto your fansite?" Ningning took out her phone and went onto her Twitter.

She turned the phone around and Heereum saw the Twitter user HEEre's My Heart; the fansite Ningning had created for Heereum. It had over five thousand followers and the pictures Ningning took were really pretty.

Ningning scrolled to the newest post and Heereum saw pictures of her in that beautiful black dress from their June 3rd concert. "They turned out gorgeous, Unnie" she said and Ningning smiled. "Thank you. But they only turned out this nice because you looked ultra pretty that night!" Ningning smiled widely and Heereum looked down.

"You wanted to have a chat with me" Heereum then said, when a waitress appeared at their table. Ningning looked from Heereum to the waitress. "I'll get a slice of the chocolate cake and a Cappuccino please" the Chinese lass ordered and the waitress turned to Heereum. "A chamomile tea please" the singer ordered and the waitress disappeared.

"You can probably guess what this is about, right?" Ningning asked and Heereum nodded. Her smile had faded and Ningning bit her bottom lip. "Wow, I didn't think it would be this hard. I thought I'd just tell you and it'll be over with. But now I'm nervous" Ningning chuckled nervously and looked at Heereum.

Ningning pushed a strand of her hair behind her ear and Heereum licked the inside of her cheek and looked out of the window. Here it came, the heart break.

"I want you to know, that I don't just do this because GUIS is my favorite band and you're my favorite singer" Ningning started and Heereum furrowed her brows and looked over to the older female. "I really like him" Ningning said, "it's not just a way to get closer to you and GUIS, I promise!" Ningning seemed worried and Heereum looked at her. "C-Continue" the Aquarius stuttered.

"I really, really like Heeseung-oppa" she said and Heereum pursed her lips. A sarcastic chuckle left her lips and she looked at Heereum. "I promise it's not just because I like your band. Really. I really like Heeseung-oppa a lot!"

The waitress came back with their order and set the mug of chamomile in front of Heereum. Heereum looked at the beautiful mug. It had flowers all over it and was steaming hot. "Thank you" Heereum said towards the waitress and looked back out of the window.

"What do you want me to say, Unnie?", asked Heereum. She couldn't look at Ningning. Otherwise she would have started crying. Ningning stirred her cappuccino. She bit her bottom lip and gently put the spoon on the saucer.

"I want to ask you for your blessing for mine and Heeseung-oppa's relationship" Ningning said and Heereum's head perked up like a meerkat. "What?" Heereum asked and turned to look at Ningning—disbelief written all over her face. "I thought you wanted to tell me about your relationship with my brother... not ask for my blessing."

Heereum's voice sounded worked up and Ningning gulped. "I want you to know that it's not because of the band—"

"You already said that, Unnie!" Heereum let out and lifted her arms. "My blessing? What am I? Heeseung's dad? I'm his younger sister I don't have anything to say about his life. It's his life!" Heereum was visibly upset and Ningning gulped.

"I didn't mean to upset you, Heereum" she said and Heereum rolled her eyes. "I already knew that you and Oppa got together. He's not that good in hiding it. He asked you out during Lover am I right?", Heereum asked and Ningning nodded.

"How do you know?", she asked and Heereum rolled her eyes. She knew she was unreasonable and rude towards the older female. Her emotions got the best of her and she was just hurt about the fact that her feelings would never be reciprocated.

"He asked me to sing a song to ask you out, but I refused" Heereum said, "so Yeonjun-oppa told him to do it during one of the romantic songs. Congratulations on your relationship. I hope Heeseung treats you nicely." Heereum stood up. She had enough of this stupid meeting.

Ningning asking for her blessing? What kind of sick joke was this? Wasn't it enough that Heereum's heart had broken various times? Now she had to give Heeseung and Ningning her blessing? That was just cruel.

Heereum opened her mini backpack and took out her wallet, putting a ten thousand won bill on the table. "That should cover my tea" she said and put the wallet back into her backpack. "You haven't even touched your tea, Heereum" Ningning said and Heereum tsk-ed.

"I don't feel like drinking it anymore" she said and turned away. "Heereum" Ningning said, but Heereum didn't turn around. "Don't be mad at us please. We can't control how we feel. Love comes unexpected, please."

"You don't need to tell me. I may be young, but I'm not stupid." Heereum bit her bottom lip hard. She knew better than anyone that feelings like that came out of nowhere. "I seriously wish you and Oppa a wonderful relationship. He's a great dude" Heereum said. "You have my blessing."

And with these words Heereum walked out of the café. Once her foot stepped out of the shop, she felt tears prick at the corner of her eyes. She quickly shook her head and started made her way home.

Heereum wasn't a bad girl. She would never cuss at somebody for loving someone and being loved. Heeseung was her brother, she would always be happy for him. And if he loved Ningning, she would give him her blessing—obviously.

She wiped her cheeks and shook her head. She would always root for her brother. She loved him more than love itself and if he really liked Ningning, she would obviously support him.

She looked at the café one last time before walking over to the subway. She grabbed her phone and went to text the GUIS member.

reum: Just came back from meeting Ningning-unnie. It's officially time to move on.

my sun: I'm so sorry, Reum. We'll get ice cream.

yuuuu: We're moving on together. We're here for you, Reum.

wonnie: I don't care if I get in trouble for writing this message during class, but we're here for you, Reum.

Heereum smiled and locked her phone. She was glad to have her best friends. She was glad to have GUIS. She walked down the stairs to the subway and got her headphones out of her backpack, putting on some music. Maybe inspiration would strike and she would find a new song to cover.

A song that would convey her broken heart and help her heal. Because Heereum deserved to heal. Sure, she wasn't the nicest to Ningning just now, but as Ningning said—emotions and feelings aren't easy to control. And falling in love with someone who was head over heels for your own brother? Even more difficult.

Heereum climbed into the train and sat down. She was exhausted. She knew it was stupid of her to get dressed up like this. Stupid and unnecessary. Ningning didn't like her. She would never like her and it was time for Heereum to move on. But moving on hurt like hell.

She was looking out of the window, while listening to music, that almost made her cry. She should listen to some EDM or Hip Hop and not to Ballads and literal love songs. But Heereum was stupid. She showed her emotions through the type of music she was listening to.

Thankfully she soon reached her train station and climbed out of the train. Once she left the train station and walked to her house, she felt the tears, that had pricked her eyes all the time, fall down.

She stood in front of her house. The gate on her right side, as she knelt down and pressed her flat hands onto her face. She was shaken up by sobs and her eyes were getting more wet with the seconds. She was kneeling in front of her own house, helplessly crying.

She felt pathetic. She had just officially lost her first love to her brother and even though she was happy for him, she just felt incredibly sad. How was she supposed to move on from this? How was her heart support to heal?

"Heereum?"

Her head shot up as she heard her name being called. In front of her stood Sunghoon in white sweat pants and a loose black T-Shirt. He had a black bag from the convenience store in his hand and knelt down, looking at her surprised.

"Are you alright?", the Sagittarius asked and looked as helpless as Heereum felt. "You're crying. Are you hurt?", he rambled and Heereum quickly wiped her cheeks, only for more tears to spill out of her eyes. "Actually" she started, "I'm not fine at all."

She started crying all over again and Sunghoon looked around helplessly, before putting his hands on both her upper arms, gently lifting her from the ground. He held her steady, as she was still shaken by uncontrollably sobs.

She had been crying a lot these past days. Sunghoon had heard her sobbing and crying. And he had seen how she had put on an act and go about as if nothing happened, when there was obviously something upsetting her.

"What happened?", the former figure skater asked and Heereum looked at him. "My crush is dating and there's nothing I can do about it, because they would never like me back. And now I just feel so sad and heartbroken."

"Oh no" Sunghoon said looked around shyly. "C'mere" he whispered and opened his arms for Heereum. Heereum looked at the boy and tilted her head. "A hug?", she asked and Sunghoon nodded shyly. He looked away.

"My younger sister said hugs help against heartache" he said and Heereum had to smile awkwardly. She took a step forwards and rested her head on Sunghoon's chest. Sunghoon was approximately sixteen centimeters taller than her, so her head fit perfectly under his head. Sunghoon patted her back awkwardly.

The hug was short and perplexing, but Heereum had to admit that she felt better once they parted. She wiped her cheeks and smiled at her roadie. "Ready to go inside?", he asked and Heereum nodded.

Sunghoon unlocked the gate and let the girl step in. "You're going to get over them" Sunghoon smiled as they kicked off their shoes in the front hall. "If they didn't love you, they weren't the right one." He continued and walked into the kitchen.

"I know everyone says stuff like this, but it's true!" Sunghoon unpacked his bag and Heereum followed him and sat down on one of the bar stools. "Is it your turn to cook today?", she asked and Sunghoon nodded.

"Don't expect too much of it, Heereum. I'm a really bad cook" he smiled and for a second, Heereum felt way better about the official end of her crush on Ningning. Her chapter of being in love with Ning Yi Zhuo was officially over. She had to close the book. It was time to move on.
