Jungwon was over the moon when the guys told him about the festival. He jumped up and down, almost forgetting to do his homework as he made his way over to his drum set that was sitting in the basement.

"We definitely need to play Thriller" the eighteen year old said and Heereum chuckled. "Of course we do. It's our statement song." Jungwon hadn't even taken off his outerwear and was already sitting on the stool of his drum set.

Sunoo smiled at the younger boy. "He's only this excited because there are chances for him to meet 5SOS in person." Yujin, currently throwing the strap of her guitar over her shoulder nodded. "Not going to lie, the fact that we probably run into them backstage is making me shiver." She chuckled.

Heereum was taking off Jungwon's jacket before walking over to her guitar. Sunoo owned a pink Fender, Yujin bought a red one after reading the BL manga Given and Heereum was the proud owner of a black Fender Kurt Cobain Jaguar e-guitar.

"Shall we just play a bit and see what we wanna do except Thriller and I Wanna Dance With Somebody?", asked Heereum and Sunoo nodded. Jungwon and Yujin also nodded towards her, so Heereum took the lead, as usual.

Practicing with GUIS was something so natural and usual, that the normally shy and nervous Heereum couldn't feel an ounce of fear. She started plucking the strings of her guitar filling the basement with gorgeous heavy guitar riffs.

Sunoo, immediatley recognizing the music piece Heereum had played, started plucking the strings of his bass and Yujin nodded and joined. Jungwon listened for a bit until he started banging his drums.

Oops!... I Did It Again echoed through the basement practice room of GUIS and Heereum enjoyed the instrumental for a while, before she walked up to her microphone and started humming into it, before the lyrics left her mouth automatically.

"I think I did it again, I made you believe we're more than just friends" she sang and her raw and edgy voice filled the room. Yujin walked to her microphone and gave Heereum a few good ad lips to work with. They sang the Britney Spears song with cheeky grins on their lips and Sunoo walked around with his bass, walking up to Jungwon and grimacing at the younger boy who was concentrated on his drums and his drums alone.

The tip of Jungwon's tongue peeked out from his lips as he concentrated on the beat of the song. After the bridge Yujin started her guitar solo, accompanied by the bass drum from Jungwon. Heereum moved her head to the beat and smiled at Jungwon. Yujin was literally insane for being this good at playing the guitar.

After the guitar solo, Sunoo and Heereum started plucking their own guitars again and Heereum and Sunoo sang to each other, finishing each others sentences. "Oops, I" sang Heereum, to which Sunoo echoed back at her.

They finished the song with a gorgeous high note from Heereum. Sunoo and Yujin doing the backing vocals, while Heereum carried the high note. They finished the song and quickly exchanged a look before starting to laugh.

"Damn, we still got this song in our systems" Sunoo laughed and wiped his pink hair out of his face. "If we play this song, I bet everyone will sing. Oops!... I Did It Again is a classic and I think we can catch a lot of attention throughout the audience with something quirky as this one." Heereum pursed her lips.

"What is your guys opinion on it?", she asked her band members and Yujin smiled. "If you want to play it, we happily agree. Right boys?" Yujin looked at Sunoo and Jungwon. "I absolutely love this song, you should know this, Noona" Jungwon looked at Heereum.

"Okay, let's add Oops!" Heereum said and looked at their setlist so far. "Yeonjun-oppa said we have a thirty minute set so we should plan five to seven songs. We currently have three" said Heereum and looked at her band members.

"Thriller, Oops! and I Wanna Dance With Somebody" Sunoo said and Jungwon pursed his lip. "You know what we haven't played in a long time?", he asked and Heereum nodded towards him. "I Kissed A Girl" Jungwon answered and Heereum blushed furiously.

A red hue painted itself all across the nineteen year olds face and she gulped. "W-Why would you recommend that?", she asked offended and Jungwon chuckled. "As if you didn't know it yourself, Reum" Sunoo said and Heereum turned around.

She clasped her hands onto her cheeks and tried to calm down the heat in her face.

"Oh come on boys. When will you stop teasing her for that? It's just a simple crush" Yujin went for the rescue and Sunoo pursed his lips. "I'm not teasing her. I am encouraging her" he said and lifted his chin sassily.

"You know what" Heereum said and turned around—her cheeks still as red as flaming hot Cheetos. "Let's practice it once. If it sounds good we'll add it onto our list." She pushed a black curl out of her face and Jungwon chuckled.

"Noona, you're super cute when you're embarrassed."

"I'm not embarrassed, Won. I am flustered. There's a difference." Heereum quickly eyed the younger boy and nodded at her band. "I Kissed A Girl, let's go." The band started playing the song and even though Heereum felt flustered about this song recommendation she bit down her beating heart and concentrated on the song.

"This was never the way I planned, not my intention" she started singing, staring straight at the Nirvana poster in front of her. "I got so brave, drink in hand, lost my discretion. It's not what I'm used to, just wanna try you on. I'm curious for you... caught my attention" Heereum fought herself through the first verse and continued to slay every single note in the song, while not looking away from the poster.

Her heart leaped at the My head gets so confused part but she battled herself through the song and only stopped singing when the song finally finished. She turned to her band and shook her head. "I don't think we should add this to the setlist" she whispered, cheeks red, eyes glossy and her heart beating faster than an 808 drum.

"Oh, no my cute baby!" Sunoo cried and walked over to his best friend. He grabbed her cheeks with his hands and pouted. "I don't want to encourage you to fight yourself through songs like this" he whined and Heereum chuckled. "It's okay, Sun. This song just hit way too close to the home base" she chuckled and looked at her friends.

GUIS were the only people that knew of Heereum's one-sided crush on five months older college student Ning Yi Zhuo, also known as Ningning. Heereum had first met Ningning at a band contest which she had attended with a friend.

Heereum immediately found the pretty girl in the audience and was simply taken aback by her effortless beauty and how princess-like she was. Heereum was majorly confused with how fast her heart had started beating for the woman.

Never in her whole life had she expected to fall in love with a woman. And never in a million years had she experienced the pain of a one-sided love that was most probably going to end up being an unrequited love.

When Heereum understood that she had a crush on the woman, she felt confused. How could she fall in love with a girl? She wasn't gay... she used to have crushes on men as well. But then she fell for Ningning.

Heereum started putting effort in the little details. She put glitter on her eyes to make them pop more. She curled her hair and used sweet smelling perfumes. After the shows she tried to meet Ningning in the crowd to ask her how she thought about the setlist and their outfits.

And whenever Ningning called her pretty and complimented her band, her heart grew more. Heereum had bawled her eyes out when she realized how much she liked Ningning. She was sitting in the basement, plucking on the strings of her guitar when Sunoo entered the room, wondering where his best friend had disappeared to.

Heereum had told Sunoo everything and the boy started laughing. "I'm not gay" Heereum had said multiple times, "I like boys as well. I'm normal!" Heereum was confused and felt lost in her own feelings. Sunoo had hugged her and told her, "Of course you're normal!" He rolled his light brown eyes and gave her a sassy smile. "You're most probably bi" he added nonchalantly and Heereum looked up. "Bi?", she asked and Sunoo nodded.

"Bisexual" the pink haired boy answered. "You like men and women" he smiled cheerily, "in my opinion you hit the jackpot. So don't fret too much about the anxiety this whole thing is inducing and enjoy your crush on Ningning."

Heereum tried her best to enjoy being in love with Ningning. But the closer they got, the more Heereum understood that Ningning wasn't into women. One day, after a gig, Heereum went to find Ningning in the crowd and found her flirting with a guy.

Heereum's heart broke. Even though she knew Ningning would never reciprocate her feelings. Heereum had a silly school girl crush on a woman she would never be able to get. Ningning was way too out of her league.

When Heereum started to have feelings for Ningning she covered Katy Perry's hit I Kissed A Girl. But ever since she realized she had zero chances with Ningning she couldn't properly sing the song.

"Let's not add the song" Yujin finally said. "We can find one of our other covers. Or we make a new one and drop it at the festival for the first time!" Yujin looked around and smiled.

Jungwon pursed his lip. "You know what I love playing, right?", he asked and looked around the basement. His eyes landed on Heereum and the black haired lass chuckled. "Starving, seriously?", the older girl asked and Jungwon nodded.

"I didn't know that I was starving till I tasted you... Don't need no butterflies when you give me the whole damn zoo" Jungwon sang and his sweet voice filled the practice room. Yujin cooed. "Oh, I love that song! It reminds me of my fangirl crush on NCT Dream's Jisung!"

Heereum chuckled. "Should we practice it once?", she asked and Sunoo. They got ready and practiced Straving by Hailee Steinfeld. The sounds of Jungwon's drum and the soft plucks of Yujin's guitar made the sonf sound soft and cute. It was fun playing this song.

Even though Heereum would never admit it, but this song also reminded her of her crush on Ningning. Just that Heereum never had the chance to taste Ningning... or anyone in general.

The 03-line had never ever had a boy- or girlfriend. She never held someone's hand (beside the one of her band members and family) and she definitely never kissed someone. The thought of placing her lips on Ningning's and kissing her was making her feel dizzy.

She knew she would never be able to kiss Ningning, but the thought of pecking her lips made her heart beat faster than the allowed speed limit.

Sunoo finished the song with his soft voice and then turned to smile at Heereum. Heereum pursed her lips. She turned around to look at her band. "This might sound completely crazy, but how about Sun and Yu sing this song by themselves."

Yujin blinked twice. "What?", she asked and looked at Sunoo and then back at her friend. "Sun and I?" Heereum nodded. "The two of you sound absolutely adorable singing this. I mean Yu probably thinks about Jisung-sshi and Sunoo thinks about that cute shop clerk in the jewelry store" Heereum smiled. "Let's try it once." Heereum stepped onto Sunoo's spot and Sunoo looked at the band.

"Are you sure?", he asked and Heereum nodded. "Ready?" Jungwon asked and then started the song again. Heereum knew how beautiful Sunoo's voice sounded. And with Yujin backing him the song probably sounded even cuter and softer. Something her raw and edgy voice couldn't manage to do.

"You know just what to say, things that scare me" Sunoo started, his voice filling the room, while Heereum started moving around and dancing with her guitar. Sunoo's cheeks were pink while he continued singing. "I didn't know that I was starving till I tasted you. Don't need no butterflies when you give me the whole damn zoo" Sunoo continued.

Yujin added her ad libs and vibrato to the parts Sunoo were lacking in and once they finished their song Jungwon and Heereum gave them a big applause. "Won, I think we found a new song for the setlist."

Jungwon nodded. "Guys, this is literally your song!" He chuckled and Sunoo blushed. "Nah, you're just saying this to make us feel embarrassed, right Yu?" Yujin chuckled. "He's right though... Sun, you sounded SO cute! You have to invite jewelry girl to the gig!" She beamed and Sunoo blushed.

"Can't we continue teasing Reum and her crush on Ningning-noona?", he asked and Heereum chuckled. She loved this band more than her life. Well actually, no... this band was her life. They were part of who Heereum was.
