Ace grew up in a rather prestigious family. He never attended public school, never went to the "wrong side of town". There weren't a ton of expectations placed on him, just one; don't embarrass the family. This expectation was easy enough to follow. He stuck with the right crowd and generally got on pretty well with people, making slightly above average grades and participating in extra curricular. Ace likes the attention it brought, but he couldn't help wanting something more. He discovered the world of streaming through pure coincidence. Some friends of his were talking about how a girl at their school had gained traction streaming. Curious, he began to stream himself. Sure enough, he was a hit sensation. Ace fell in love with that freedom to interaction with people outside his usual circles and connect on a whole new level.

Jianyu was born to a very wealthy family. It was most of the reason they've been able to help treat her chronic illness so well. Because of this weakness, she didn't have a lot of expectations put on her shoulders. And she almost always got what she wanted when she wanted it. She took full advantage of this, recognizing her parents' own guilt over her illness. Jianyu never thought it was their fault at all, but she wasn't going to shy from taking advantage of it either. That was always the kind of person she was. Jianyu never attended school, instead she was homeschooled. Her parents hired private tutors and the such to keep her education just as good as it would've been. If not better. Jianyu discovered streaming through suggestion from a nanny who was watching over her while she played a game. Jianyu had never heard of such a thing, streaming what she was playing... But boy, when Jianyu tried it out, she was absolutely in love.

Amon's childhood was a wreck. He was supposed to be dead by 7, but he lived. For a lot of that first half of his life, he kind of wished he hadn't. They could see the stress on their parents' faces, trying to make ends meet. He was wrecked after every hospital visit, the overnight bag always packed. Amon tried to live whatever life he had left to the fullest though. His parents split hairs and pinched pennies to give him that much. After all that fighting, they finally won. Amon was announced cured at 19, leaving his doctors stunned. Thing was, he had no plans for his life. That was terrifying in of itself. He was left lost. But Amon turned to the idea of streaming. Watching streamers had gotten him through a lot of long nights at the hospital. Amon decided he'd try it out himself.

Dal's family was oppressive, especially since he had been born a daughter. His parents had always resented never having had a son, but couldn't accept it when he told them he was their son. This coming out had altered the direction of his life entirely. He never wants to think about the day they found out ever again, truth be told. Dal ended up in a lot of different places after he'd been kicked out. None of them were great for him, and he still never felt... Loved. So he always moved on to what felt like greener pastures. Somehow, god knows how, he ended up graduating high school. Dal applied to any college he figured would take him. Then he went to the furthest one. Dal had a roommate in the dorms, one that asked if he was chill with their streaming. Dal asked in return what that was. That semester was his first introduction to the concept. Damshi was the first born of three in a family that was the pinnacle of old money. She had absolutely absurd expectations put on her shoulders, and excessive responsibilities to boot.  This left pressure she could never live up to, try as she might to uphold expectations. Everything applied to this, she was always extremely busy at all times through childhood. Damshi was as much a caretaker as her mother was, and was also expected to uphold a job and academics and extra curricular. Damshi was the top of her school, always striving to be the best. No matter what she was doing. Streaming had started as a way to detox after long days, but her need to be the best drove her to become number one.
