How do you feel after winning?

I feel amazing, honestly.

How do you come across the award books?

I found this one in someone's reading list, which is how I find most of my awards books.

Did you expect that you would win?

Not at all.

What inspired you to write the book?

The Perfection Theory, Finding November, and Becoming Oblivion were all formerly entries for the OpenNovellaContest, while Signs You're Being Manipulated was formerly for the ContemporaryLit Write-Off.

How do you feel when you get your first vote and commet?

I feel surprised, because why would anyone read my stuff?

How do you react to bad review of your book?

I feel disappointed for a while, but then I back to writing and fixing it.

Is any of character of book resemble you or people around you?

Carmen Dewitt-Dexter from Becoming Oblivion resembles me a little bit. I'm not gonna kill my parents though.

Which character of your book are you attached to the most and why?

Carmen and her friends. They're all secretly huge bundles of stress that need a hug and maybe some therapy.

Why you choose to participate in this award?

I was trying to apply for as many awards as I could.

What was embrassing moment of your life?

I've had a lot, honestly. Here's one: One time when I was nine I said the s word. I still think about that a lot.

Describe your feeling of winning in one word.

Proud.

How are you spending your day in lockdown ?

My school isn't going back for the rest of the year, which is nice because I'm always so close to a panic attack when I have to go. I've been reading and writing more, which is always a delight.
