In 1978 Alex Crowe and Carrie White destroyed all of Chamberlain before Crowe was arrested and Carrie went to Haddonfield.

Matthew and Anna who survived the Chamberlain incident along with Alex's killing spree haunted them. Matthew wanted revenge on what Crowe did to them.

Forty years later, Crowe and Barnes met again. They fought each other before Matthew and his family locked Alex in the basement and burn him inside the house.

They thought the nightmare was over.
