Saturday

The week has flown by, and it's finally Saturday.

The boys and I are heading to the water park today, where Luke can finally use my second gift. We're taking my car and Justin's, and I need to meet them at 10:00 am since it's a two-hour drive.

I text Brandon.

Me: Are you coming with us?

Brandy: No, sorry. I have to work today, but I'll see you on Monday.

Me: Oh, okay. I'll send you pictures.

Brandy: Okay, bye! Love you.

I blush; after a month together, he loves me! It's now 9:30 am, and Trina is trying to shake off a hangover.

I put on my pink and white striped bikini, shorts, flip-flops, a big hat, and sunglasses, then grab my bag to pack my iPod and camera.

I need to pick up Arlene, Kyle, and Luke, who are joining me.

Brandon's POV

I lied to Ana; I don't have to work today. My friends and I are heading to the beach later. Also, Nikki and I have a project due Monday, and she'll be here in an hour. With my parents and sister out for the day, I play video games until Nikki arrives.

An hour later, the doorbell rings. I open it to find Nikki standing there in shorts and a crop top, holding a textbook.

She hugs me and says, "Yay, you stayed! I knew you would for me."

I push her gently away. "I stayed because I want a good grade on our project."

She laughs, "Once I have you to myself, I'll consider it that you care about me, not just the project."

She wishes. As she walks inside and heads upstairs, I think it's going to be a long morning.

Anastasia's POV

We arrive at the water park, and I hand over our tickets to the security guard. Arlene exclaims from the back, "Wow, it's so huge!"

Kyle smirks, "That's what she said," earning a playful hit from Arlene.

I park the car, and we all get out. Luke excitedly says, "I can't believe we're really here!" I smile back.

Arlene is busy texting but then tells Luke, "Gabriella will be here in an hour."

The others arrive and park next to me. Jordan shouts, "Now I can find some hot chicks!" as he dashes toward the entrance.

Everyone laughs, and then I spot Gregory.

"Hi Ana, what's up?" he asks.

"Heaven," I reply, both of us chuckling. A girl about seven standing next to him asks, "Who's she?"

Gregory introduces us, "This is my friend Ana. Ana, my sister Giselle." The little girl smiles and tugs at Gregory, saying, "I want to ride on a slide now, Greg."

Gregory waves goodbye and leaves with his sister. Justin urges, "Let's go have some fun!"

I find a spot under an umbrella by the pool to read. The others are either swimming, looking for girls, or eating.

After an hour, I'm introduced to Gabriella, who is shy like me. She and Luke will get along well; they're probably off riding slides.

I read a good book on Wattpad. It's about a girl like me navigating life and challenges.

Justin sits next to me and says, "Come on, Anne, let's get you wet."

I sigh, put my iPod in my bag, take off my shorts, and grab my camera.

We meet up with the others, and I ask Kyle to hold my camera while I enjoy the slides. Justin carries me to a tall one, and I feel a little terrified.

In line, the lifeguard instructs, "Grab a tube and enjoy the ride." I take a tube, sit on it, and scream in excitement as I go down the slide.

At the bottom, I hand the tube to the lifeguard and dive into the pool. Justin and Jordan follow me in. Suddenly, the water around Jordan turns dark blue, and everyone screams and rushes out.

Kyle snaps pictures of Jordan's embarrassment while Arlene and Jacob laugh hysterically.

"Come back in, the water is fine!" Jordan calls out, unfazed.

The lifeguard blows a whistle, telling him to get out, and soon the pool is closed.

A little girl shouts, "Mommy, that's the boy who pees in the water!"

I laugh, while her mother shakes her head and pulls the girl away.

Justin remarks, "Even little kids know it's wrong to pee in the water."

Jordan shrugs off the comment.

Jacob adds, "Next time, we'll buy you some diapers, okay baby boy?"

Jordan rolls his eyes and walks away.

Luke smirks, "Who's the big baby now, huh, Jordan?"
