Brief Fact: Korean alphabet has 14 consonants similar to English alphabets.
ㅂ = b, p
ㄷ = d, t
ㄱ = g, k
ㅎ = h
ㅋ = k
ㅈ = j
ㅁ = m
ㄴ = n
ㅍ = p
ㄹ = r, l
ㅅ = s
ㅌ = t
ㅊ = ch
ㅇ = ng (but silent if at the beginning of the word)
•DOUBLE CONSONANTS
Brief Fact: Double Consonants are pronounced differently. Words with double consonants are speak with strong emphasis that almost makes you sound angry.
(E.g: 진짜? Jinjja - Really? ; right, just like what you heard in Korean Dramas)
ㅃ = bb
ㄸ = dd
ㄲ = kk
ㅉ = jj
ㅆ = ss
•VOWELS
Brief Fact: And they have 10 vowels that have subtle similarity of their sounds.
Therefore, don’t worry if you will find it hard to pronounce at first their vowels. It is just normal, but once you get used to it. It will be pretty easy!

ㅓ = eo
ㅕ = yeo
ㅗ = o
ㅛ = yo
ㅜ = u
ㅠ = yu
ㅡ = eu
ㅣ = i
Also, Korean vowels combined to make different sounds such as;
ㅐ (ㅏ + ㅣ) = ae
ㅒ (ㅑ + ㅣ) = yae
ㅔ (ㅓ + ㅣ) = e
ㅖ (ㅕ + ㅣ) = ye
ㅘ (ㅗ + ㅏ) = wa
ㅙ (ㅗ + ㅐ) = wae
ㅚ (ㅗ + ㅣ) = oe
ㅝ (ㅜ + ㅓ) = wo
ㅟ (ㅜ + ㅣ) = wi
ㅢ (ㅡ + ㅣ) = ui
