Naruto sighed. How was he supposed to cope with the fact that his best friend, Sasuke Uchiha, ran away. He ran away to get power. Power to kill his brother, Itachi. He only wanted to do this because his brother killed the Uchiha clan, because they were planning to revolt against Konaha.

"Why can't I get any love..." he murmured as he walked the streets of Konaha. The glares had gotten worse when he passed the Gennin Exam. He doesn't know why though.

He walked into his apartment and sat down on his ragged couch. He sighed. It must be nice to have a family. He closed his eyes, and when he opened them, he found himself in the lair of the Kyuubi No Kitsune. He gasped as large red slitted eyes glowered back at him.

"Y-your the Kyuubi No Kitsune!" Naruto said, he was slightly frightened. But the terror soon turned to curiosity as he kept staring back at the Kyuubi.

"Ah. My jinchūriki. It's nice to meet you." The Kyuubi said in a soft tone, despite his gruff voice. He looked down at Naruto and sighed at Minato and Kushina's son. He looked mostly like Minato, while he had the appetite of Kushina.

"Are you scared..?" The bijū said, with a voice that made Naruto wince.

"N-no." Naruto said. "Why should I be?"

The kyuubi looked down in shock.

"Naruto." Kurama said, looking down at the boy in his mind scape. "You should stop taking the pills. I'm getting worried."

"I'm fine, kurama. " Naruto said, swallowing a pill beforehand. "No one's gonna notice, ya know." He said, smiling his famous smile.
