Hanuman wasn't able to find Devi Sita in the city. He had started losing hopes as his mind made up scenarios of failure.

'Mujhe Devi Sita nahi mili toh ? Yadi woh jeevit hi na huyi toh ? Mere saare prayas vyarth ho jayenge. Sabhi Vanar itni aas lagaye baithe hai mujhse. Mai unhe mukh kaise dikhayunga ? Humne waise hi ek maas se adhik samaye lagaya hai, Mai laut ke Sugreev ko kis mukh se kahunga ki hum asafal rahe ? Shri Ram ko yadi Devi Sita ki suchna nahi mili, toh woh awashya praan tyaag denge. Shri Ram ke bina Lakshman bhi jeevit nahi reh payenge. Rani Kaushalya atyant dukhi hongi. Yeh kaisi vipatti hai ? Laut ke meri asafalta ki suchna Vanaro ke dene se accha hoga ki mai agni-pravesh karlu.' He thought.

But once again he made a conscious effort to shrug off all the negativities as depression discourages enterprise while hope and enthusiasm inspires actions, develops endurance, that leads to success.

Hence without giving up hope Hanuman again continued to look for Devi Sita, this time in the places he hadn't explored.

'Ek kshan ruko. Ravan ko toh mai swayam hi maar sakta hu. Ya mai use utha ke Kiskindha le jaa sakta hu jaha Shri Ram use dandit kare.... Ek baar Devi Sita ko khoj lu, baad mei Ravan ke saath kya karna hai uska nirnaye karunga.' He thought.

The dawn had already broken when his search finally lead him to Ashokvatika, where he saw a woman clad in the same yellow garment that was dropped at Rishyamukh along with ornaments. She was also bereft of jewellery that supported the fact that she was Devi Sita.

Her clothes were clad in mud, she was looking visibly weak. Surrounded by Rakshas women she seemed lost and out of place, like a deer who got lost from the pack and became stuck among wild dogs.

Hanuman was sure that this lady was indeed Devi Sita, who was out of Shri Ram's sight but never out of his mind. Looking at her, he could tell that she had been fasting for months waiting for her husband to come. The grieves of separation and rigours of captivity in Lanka were evident in her eyes.

Leaning back on the tree, the resplendent Devi Sita enveloped in the veil of grief looked like a memory befuddled, a destroyed wealth, a lost hope, an achievement saddled with hurdles, an abandoned faith, an unjustified blemish-tainted fame, a troubled intellect.

'Awashya inka hridaye Shri Ram ke paas hai, aur Shri Ram ka hridaye inke paas. Iss liye dono iss dasha mei bhi jeevit hai.' Hanuman concluded.

Suddenly Ravan came to Ashokvatika, surrounded by his women and guards. His eyes were still groggy from last night's revelry but they couldn't hide the lewd desire he had for Devi Sita.

She cringed as he came closer. Gathering herself close, she buried her face in her knees, as if trying to hide her body from his lustful gaze.

"Kyu tum mujhse chhupne ka prayas kar rahi ho Sita ? Kyu tum bhayebhit ho ? Mai tumse kitna prem karta hu. Aao Sundari, mere paas aao. Mujhe swikaar karo. Tumhe yaha koi bhi haani nahi pahucha sakta. Yu toh hum Rakshas, stree ke na maanne par bal ka prayog karte hai, kintu mai tumhe tumhari iccha ke bina sparsh bhi nahi karunga. Chaahe Kaamdev mere deh ko jala de." Ravan said, as if he wasn't cursed to have his head blown into pieces if he forced himself on any woman.

"Mujhse apni drishti hata aur apne anye patniyo se sukh bhog. Jis prakar ek paapi ko adhyaatma sukh praapt nahi hota, tu bhi mujhe praapt nahi kar sakta Ravan. Jo purush apne patniyo se asantusht ho, dusro ki patniyo se santushti ki kaamna karta hai, woh apne indriyo dwara hi nasht ho jata hai. Kya Lanka ke mantri tumhe iske prati paramarsh nahi dete ? Kyu apne kul ka annt karne par tule huye ho ? Mujhe Ram se alag karna asambhav hai, tumhara aishwarya ka dhong vyarth hai." Devi Sita said.

Ravan looked at her angrily as she continued, "Samajhdaari isi mei hai ki tum mujhe mukt karo aur mere Nath se maitri karo. Tum Ram aur Lakshman ka krodh sahan nahi kar paoge Ravan, bhala kya shwaan kabhi 2 baago se bhid sakta hai ?"

The rejection of Devi Sita were an assualt on Ravan's unsatisfied lust and ego, he was furious now.

"Ek varsh ki avadhi di thi tumhe Sita ! Ab keval 2 maah shesh hai. Iske baad yadi tum mere shaiya par nahi aayi toh tumhare tukde meri rasoi mei pak rahe honge." Ravan warned.

He was visibly shaking from anger, to calm him down, one of his wife, Dhanyamalini came and hugged him.

"Lankapati, aayiye aur mera bhog kare. Kyu iss niranandi abhaagin ke paas aate hai ? Iske niyati mei koi sukh nahi." Dhanyamalini said.

The other women with Ravan also gathered around him, pleading him to return to the palace. The king of Rakshasas left, but was still fuming.

"O Sita ! Yadi tum humare Raja ko swikaar nahi karogi toh hum hi tumhara bhakshan kardenge !" The Rakshasi guards told her.

But Devi Sita remained firm in her decision with tears welling up in her eyes.

"Dur hato ! Dukhi na karo Sita ko !" Trijata scolded.

The Rakshasi women scoffed and went away as Trijata comforted Devi Sita.

"Chinta na karo Sita, Shri Ram awashya aayenge." She assured.

A/N

In HH10, we had concluded that Ravan has Sar 10, Buddhi 0.

In HH11, we can now conclude that Ravan has Ego100, Self respect 0.

I mean seriously the way Mata Sita is roasting you Lankesh.... Aapko chullu bhar paani mei doob marna chahiye....
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

And let's just appreciate the poetry of Rishi Valmiki when he described Devi Sita in Ravan's Lanka.

Nothing describes her condition better and hence I put this directly 🤌🙏
