Hanuman leaped towards Himalaya and in no time reached the great mountain ranges. But he was unable to identify the medicinal plants.

Therefore, expanding the size of his body, he brought the entire boulder itself, before sunrise as he had promised. Everyone was surprised once seeing his miraculous deeds.

Finally Sushen administered the medicines and treated Shri Ram and Lakshman. Soon the brothers were back on their feet and ready to fight once again.

The news of successful treatment of Shri Ram and Lakshman was a shock to Ravan. Each and every hope for victory was being crushed. But Indrajeet assured him.

This time the valiant son of Ravan resorted to use the power of creating illusions. In the battlefield he made the Vanar sena see an illusion of him killing Devi Sita.

The vanars rushed to Shri Ram and informed him about it. The trick of Meghnaad had its desired impact, the son of Kaushalya was shaken to the core.

Shri Ram was beyond any consolation, he was slipping in the bouts of unconsciousness. Indeed, no words can console a man who just heard the death of his beloved in the most unjust manner.

Lakshman understood that no words could give him comfort, hence neither did he offer it to him. Instead Lakshman tried to ignite the fire inside Shri Ram.

"Bhaiya ! Aap Pita ke vachan ka maan rakhne ke liye Ayodhya chhod ke van mei aaye, aur yaha Rakshaso ne aapki patni ka haran kar aapko asahaniye peeda di hai ! Pata nahi aap yeh sab kaise seh sakte hai, kintu mai nahi sahunga ! Mai aaj Indrajeet ko uski dushtta ka dand dunga ! Aap swayam ko sambhaliye aur Yudh hetu sajj ho jaye !" Lakshman said.

But luckily Vibhishan was quick to know what must've transpired after seeing everyone in agitation and anguish and after having learnt the reason for it.

"Aisa sambhav hi nahi ki Indrajeet, Devi Sita ka vadh karde. Ravan kabhi iski anumati nahi dega. Meghnaad ne Maya ka prayog kiya hai jisse use Nikumbhala Devi ka yagya karne ko samaye mile. Yadi woh yagya purn huya toh ajay ho jayega. Hume yagya purn hone se pehle uska vadh karna hoga." Vibhishan said to everyone's relied.

The sense of urgency was evident in his voice, and Shri Ram was quick to follow his advice. He sent Lakshman to challenge Indrajeet.

Vibhishan took Lakshman, Hanuman along with several Vanar troops to the temple of Nikumbhala Devi, where Meghnaad was conducting yagya.

The Vanars attacked and laid waste to the yagya, Meghnaad snapped his head and saw the enemies. He was filled with anger seeing Vibhishan.

"Desh drohi ! Kayar ! Apne kutumb ko tyaag shatru ka saath diya hai na tune !Gun-heen, keval tujh jaisa nirdayi vyakti hi keval Lakshman ko yaha laa sakta hai ! Arrey Vibhishan, tum mere Pita ke bhai ho, kya mai tumhara putra nahi lagta !? Tum Rakshas jaati ka kalank ho !" Meghnaad said.

Vibhishan had tolerated many insults inflicted on him by Meghnaad. But he wasn't going to tolerate it this time.

"Mujhe Gun-heen kehne waale kya tumhe mere ucch guno ke baare mei nahi pata !? Rakshas hoke bhi meri pravriti unke jaisi nahi ! Maine sadev ucch gun wale Manushyo ke jaisa banne ka prayas kiya hai ! Mai adharm ka saath nahi de sakta. Aur kutumb se prem ki baat karte ho ? Toh kaisa Bhai hai tumhara Pita jo apne hi chhote bhai ko niskaashit karde keval iss liye ki humari drishtikon ek nahi the !? Aur tum kehte ho ki mai tumhare Pita samaan hu !? Kab mujhe tumne utna samman diya Meghnaad !? Tumhare aur tumhare Pita ka annt nikat hai. Ahankari, asabhya, murkh balak aaj tumhe mujh par kase har vyang ka dand milega !" Vibhishan said.
