Shri Ram looked at all the great sages and seers present there, ready to become the Guru of Rameshwari. They were all unparalleled in their own ways. Each endowed with greatest of qualities and skills.

The only problem was, not all of them could become the Guru of his daughter. One has to be chosen. But whom ? They were all matchless in their deeds and wisdom. Choosing one can be a disrespect to others.

But again, choosing one was a difficult task in itself. They all were equivalent to each other in their own ways. All of them had the wisdom which if imparted to Rameshwari shall be of great use.

But then Shri Ram remembered the words of Vishwamitra, that he said yesterday before leaving.

"Kadachit tumhari putri swayam apne Guru ka chayan kare. Ab mai Vasisth ke aashram jaa ata hu."

And he knew now what had to be done.

"Yagya ki samidha laayi jaaye. Aur Rajkumari Rameshwari ko sammaan sahit sabha mei prastut kiya jaaye." Shri Ram ordered.

The pratihari left the court, to fetch Rameshwari and after a while returned with the princess. Entering the majestic court of Ayodhya, Rameshwari bowed to her father, the king.

"Rajkumari, meri dahine oor maha-gyaani vyakti hai. Inhe naman karo." Shri Ram said.

Rameshwari looked at the side and saw the great sages and bowed her head in front of them as well.

"Yeh sabhi Maha-gyaani, tumhare Guru banne hetu yaha upasthit huye hai. Kintu inme se koi ek hi tumhara Guru ban sakta hai. Aur iska chayan tumhe swayam karna hoga." Shri Ram said.

Rameshwari looked at him and then back at the resplendent learned ones. She knew it was going to be tough decision but a very crucial one.

"Pita-Maharaj, kripya aap mujhe inn Maha-gyaaniyo ka parichaye dene ki kripa kare." Rameshwari said with joined hands.

"Awashya. Sarvapratham hai Kul-Guru Vasisth. Inhe toh tum jaanti hi ho. Swargiya Maharaj Dashrath ke chaaro putro ko, arthat hum 4 bhaiyo ko, inhone hi siksha di hai." Shri Ram said introducing Vasisth first.

"Pranam Kul-Guru." Rameshwari bowed her head. As Vasisth raised his hand to bless.

"Fir hai Brahmarishi Vishwamitra. Mujhe aur Rajkumar Lakshman ko, inhone hi Astra-vidya, Balaa-Atibalaa Vidya, aur Raj-dharm ki seekh inhone di hai." Shri Ram said introducing Vishwamitra.

"Pranam Brahmarishi." Rameshwari bowed her head in front of him.

"Yashasvi bhava." Vishwamitra smiled blessing.

"Fir hai Sapt-rishi, sansaar mei Yog-saadhna ka gyaan sabse pehle inhe hi mila tha, Adiyogi Mahadev ke dwara. Manav-jaati ki utpatti bhi inse hi huyi hai." Shri Ram introduced the seven sages.

"Pranam." Rameshwari bowed her head at them as well as they all smiled.

"Woh hai Devarshi Narad, jo manushyo ko Paramarth tak pahunchate hai. Yeh Bhakt Prahlad aur Dhruv ke bhi Guru hai." Shri Ram said introducing Narad.

"Pranam Devarshi." Rameshwari bowed to him as well.

"Kalyanamastu !" Narad Muni blessed.

"Yeh hai Baal-rishi Sankadi-kumar, Sanak, Sanat, Sanatan aur Sananand. Yeh Brahma ke Pratham manas-putra hai aur Pratham-pujya Ganesh ke Guru." Shri Ram said introducing the four baal-rishis.

"Pranaam." Rameshwari greeted.

"Kirtimaan bhava !" They blessed.

"Fir hai Dev-guru Brihaspati, yeh Devraj Indra jaise devtao ke Guru bhi hai aur maarg-darshak bhi. Aur antatah Asur-guru Shukracharya, yeh mahantam Asur jaise Mahabali ke guru hai. Brihaspati aur Shukracharya ki Raj-niti, Bharatvarsh ke kai Raja, Manu ki Raj-niti ke bhaati ki prayog karte hai." Shri Ram said.

"Naman." Rameshwari greeted with a smile, both Brihaspati and Shukracharya nodded with a smile, seeing Surya-mandala herself in such a adorable form.

Then came a man, seemingly a royal servant, with firewood in his hands as Shri Ram had asked.

"Rajkumari Rameshwari ko yeh yagya samidha do." Shri Ram said.

The man handed the firewood to Rameshwari who took held in both her hands.

"Ab tum inme se kisi ek ko apna Guru chun lo aur yeh yagya ki samidha unhe de do. Maa Saraswati tumhari sahayata kare." Shri Ram said.

Rameshwari nodded and looked at all the resplendent sages and seers on the left side of her father. They all were fautless and matchless in their wisdom.

But a doubt was there in the mind of Rameshwari. Some will either give her knowledge of weaponry, others will give her knowledge of Paramarth and Yog, while rest will give her the knowledge of Raj-niti and Dharm.

But she wanted someone to give her the knowledge of all the three in the best and most fulfilled way possible. And so she started walking, her gaze fixed ahead.

She walked past Brihaspati and Shukracharya, she walked past the Sankadi kumaras, she walked past Devrarshi Narad, she walked past the Sapt-rishis also.

She even walked past the Brahmarishi Vasisth and Vishwamitra. Everyone in the sabha got confused as to whom she wanted to chose as her Guru because she just walked past all of them.

Their confusion got cleared when Rameshwari knelt down in front of the one, standing right beside Shri Ram and held out the firewood to him.

"Buddhiheen tanu jaanike, sumiro pawan-kumar.
Bal-Buddhi-Vidya dehu mohi, harahu kalesh vikaar." Rameshwari said offering the firewood. (Knowing myself to be ignorant, I urge you, O Hanuman, The son of Pavan! O Lord! kindly Bestow on me strength, wisdom and knowledge, removing all my miseries and peccancy.)
