Mahadev and Mata Parvati were sitting side by side, both exuding warmth and calmness. Beside them Nandi sat on the ground. A smile appeared on their faces when they saw Amarsri arriving with Rambha and Menka following her behind.

"Pranaam." All three of them bowed down, and offered their respects to the Jagatpita and Jagatmata.

"Kalyanamastu !" They both blessed raising their hands.

"Sunne mei aya hai ki mere anuj grihasth ashram mei pravesh karne ke liye apni shreshtha siddh karne wale hai." Amarsri said.

"Sahi suna hai tumne. Aur aayi bhi sahi samaye par ho." Mahadev said.

"Amarsri, Srinav kaha hai ?" Mata Parvati asked.

The all-mother was rather surprised seeing Amarsri without her husband. This unusual sight, heightened her curiosity.

"Ha. Aaj Devi, bina Kumar ke ?" Nandi couldn't help but ask.

"Woh..." Amarsri gazed at Rambha and Menka who were supressing their smiles with lowered gazes.

"Vilambh ke liye kshama kare." The familiar husky voice fell on their ears.

A smile appeared on Amarsri's face as she stood up and turned around to see Srinav coming towards her direction. Whereas Rambha and Menka looked at each other and sighed.

Srinav came towards Mahadev and Mata Parvati and bowed down. He greeted Nandi who greeted him back with equal warmth. The husband of Amarsri then stood beside her, a mischievous smile adorning his face as he looked at Rambha and Menka. He raised his hand that was holding a few papers.

"Yeh lo." Srinav said giving one page to each of them, and then he looked at Amarsri, his mischievous expression giving away to a tender one, "Aur yeh aapke liye." He said giving one paper to her.

"Yeh kya hai ?" Menka asked.

"Virah mei likhi kavita." Srinav said.

"Itni shigreh likh di ?" Rambha muttered surprised.

"Mere shreni ki premi, virah mei trilok ka naash karde toh kavita likhni kaunsi badi baat hai ?" Srinav said folding his hands, "Ab padho bhi." He urged.

Three of them began reading the contents of the pages. Amarsri's eyes, got fixed on the words woven into the fabric of a poem. Her lips curved into an enchanting smile, reading it.

"मूर्खाः स्वर्गं कामयन्ति, बुद्धिमान् मोक्षं इच्छन्ति। अहं कान्तः प्रियस्य आलिंगने सति न कञ्चित् कामये।" She read out. (Fools desire heaven, wise desire salvation. I, a lover, when in my beloved's embrace, desire none.)

She chuckled as she cast a tender side glance at him. But her enthusiasm wasn't shared by Rambha or Menka, who read their pages with frowns and parted lips.

"Aisa kya padh rahi ho ?" Amarsri asked, while Srinav knowingly pressed his lips together to supress a chuckle.

"तदा तस्याः सखीः, मम प्रेम्णः अपहृत्य, कष्टप्रदमक्षिका इव प्रविष्टाः।" Rambha read out a line. (Then her friends, swooped in like a pesky bee, taking away my love.)

"ते दुष्टपक्षिणः इव एतावत् चोरीकृताः धूर्ताः च मम निर्दोषं प्रियं मम दूरं गृह्णन्ति स्म ।" Menka read out the next line. (They swooped down like naughty birds, so sneaky and sly, taking my innocent beloved away from me.)

Amarsri couldn't control her laugh at that, while Srinav finally let out the chuckle he was supressing. Rambha and Menka huffed before handing the papers back to him.

"Jao apsarao, devraj tumhe dhund rahe honge." Srinav said.

Both Rambha and Menka stomped away. Amarsri watched them leave, before gazing back at Srinav.

"Kya aap bhi." She said.

"Kya priye ? Unhone ne kaha ki virah mei kavita likho. Toh virah ki vedna mei mere man se jo nikla maine likh diya." He said innocently.

Mahadev who had been watching the scene unfold, looked at Mata Parvati with a smile, "Shigreh aisa drishya har din Kailash mei dekhne ko mil sakta hai tumhe, Uma."

"Kintu kya pratiyogita sahi hai swami ? Kartikeya ka vijay hona saral hai, kyuki uska vahan mayur hai." Mata Parvati said.

"Bhulo mat Maheshwari, Ganesh bhi kisi se kam nahi." Mahadev assured.

Some moments later, Kartikeya arrived, dressed in resplendent garments and opulent jewelleries. He walked towards them, carrying shulam with his one hand, while the other hand caressed the head of his glorious peacock, walking alongside him.

"Pranam." He greeted everyone, and then turned to Mahadev and Mata Parvati, "Prasthaan ki aagya de."

"Aagya hai." Mahadev said.

And with that Kartikeya got mounted on his divine peacock, and flew into the sky, leaving the sphere of earth in just a few moments.

A/N

You know.... Not many people notice how unhinged of a savage Srinav can be at times 🤣🤣🤣

And ofcourse you'll see more of this in Mahabharat segment... Cause boy oh boy, does the Jaygatha have fools 💀✨

Btw this reminds me that, Krishna most probably won't come in the next book..... Here me out first-

If I start the Mahabharat segment, with birth of Krishna.... A significant portion is going to be left out, like Shantanu Ganga, Bhishm, Bhishm pratigya, Birth of Dhritrashtra, Pandu and Vidur, deeds of Pandu as a king.... Karn's birth.... Kunti Madri relation.... Their vanvas... Birth of Yudhishthir and Bheem.... Dron-Drupad conflict... Terror of Kans, his backstory.... And many more important details like curses and boons in between.....

Hence the next book will be about the above mentioned incidents, which also provide a perfect background for Mahabharat, and will clear some misunderstandings and myth related to this part.... Because trust me.... THERE ARE SEVERAL 💀✨
