"Dekho ! Woh rahe dono !" Said a warrior, pointing at Valli and Kartikeya, who were in each other's loving embrace.

Hearing the voices, they both came out of their trance. Valli's eyes widened seeing the armed villagers, along with her brothers and father. Panicking, she looked at the composed Kartikeya, and then at her agitated kith and kin.

"Toh tu hai woh jo meri kanya se prem karta hai !?" Nambirajan asked, pointing at the hunter youth, not knowing him to be the god they worshipped.

"Ha, mai hi hu Valli ka premi." Kartikeya said.

"Pitashree ! Iss dushtta ke liye hume isse dandit karne ki anumati de !" One of his son said.

"Ha Rajan ! Iss yuvak ko dandit kare ! Akraman ka aadesh de !" The angry villagers said.

"Aagya hai !" Nambirajan said.

The arrows whizzed through the air, aiming to pierce Kartikeya. But to their astonishment, not a single arrow touched its intended target. Instead, each arrow fell futilely to the ground, as if rejected by an invisible shield.

Mystified and perplexed, the chieftain and his men continued their assault, increasing their efforts. Yet, their arrows met the same fate, with none managing to even graze the hunter youth.

As Nambi and his men persisted, their relentless arrows became their own undoing. Overwhelmed by frustration and approaching despair, a divine force began to counter their attacks. mysteriously, one by one, the chieftain and his villagers fell to the ground, lifeless.

Valli's heart sank as she saw her father and his loyal warriors lying motionless. The sight filled her with anguish, as her love for Kartikeya conflicted with the sadness caused by her loss.

"Swami ! Woh mera parivaar hai ! Aisa nishthur dand mat dijiye unhe !" Valli said joining her hands, tears blurring her vision.

Kartikeya smiled sadly, "Tum meri ardhangini banne wali ho Valli. Mera aadha ang. Kshamta toh tumhare andar bhi utni hai, jitni mere mei. Jaao, unhe swayam jeevit karo." He said.

Valli got confused, but she decided to try. She went towards her fallen kin and kith,  she touched her father's forehead and saw his lifeless body begin to stir. A surprised gasp escaped her lips as she saw him open his eyes.

And thus by her touch the rest of the men were also brought back to life. They all had bewildered expressions on their faces. And their clouds confusion confusion was then scattered by a divine light that emanated from Kartikeya, who now stood in his true six headed and 12 armed form.

Seeing Murugan, the god they worshipped, himself in front of them. All the men prostrated on the ground and offered a deep bow.

"Kshama kare, prabhu. Humne aapko pehechana nahi." Nambirajan said.

"Isme aapka koi dosh nahi, Rajan." Kartikeya said.

"Yeh toh aapki udaarta hai, jo hume punah jeevan daan aur kshama daan diya. Hey Skand ! Hey Murugan ! Hum aaj hi aapka vivah Valli se karwayenge." Nambirajan said.

A smile appeared on the face of Valli, as she looked at Kartikeya, who was already looking at her. She gazed at him for a moment, before shyly looking down.

The fragrance of exotic flowers filled the air as Devsena adorned the sacramental plate with vibrant petals, delicately arranging them to create a mesmerizing design. Adorned in resplendent garments, her eyes shone with happiness, eagerly awaiting the arrival of Kartikeya and Valli.

Moments later, the grand door swung open, revealing the newly married couple. Their presence, in an instant illuminated the room. Kartikeya, dressed in regal attire, exuded an aura of strength and authority. Valli, adorned with graceful jewels, emanated an air of serenity and warmth.

With a smile on her face, the daughter of Indra went to welcome them inside. As their eyes met, a mixture of emotions swirled within Devsena. She felt both excitement and a hint of trepidation.

Valli, recognizing this sentiment, gracefully bent down, in front of Devsena and gently touched her feet, a gesture of respect and acknowledgement for their bond.

"Pranaam jiji." She said.

The room fell into a momentary silence, as the significance of Valli's gesture resonated. Overwhelmed with emotions, Devsena swiftly held her shoulders, making the daughter of Nambi rise.

With open arms, she embraced Valli, the embodiment of love and acceptance. Kartikeya smiled as he lovingly gazed at both his wives, for they had finally gotten the fruits of their boon, and now they all shall stay together harmoniously, till the end of eternity.
