Overcome by Lust, arrogance, greed and anger, the Asur brothers Sumbh and Nisumbh make the biggest mistake of their lives, or one can say the last one.

"Ek akeli Nari, humari itni vishal sena ka Saamna kaise karegi !?" Sumbh laughed.

"Bhrata, aagya kare ! Iss Devi ko mai iske kesho se khich layunga !" Nisumbh said.

"Kisne kaha mai akeli hu Sumbh ? Mai toh iss sansaar ke kan kan mei hu. Tumne Nari ko shaktiheen samjha hai, aaj tumhara annt iss sansaar mei vikhyat Nari Shakti se hi hoga." Mata Kaushiki said.

She looked up in the sky where the Tridev, Kartikeya, Srinav and Indra were spectating.

"Devi Brahmani !" She called looking at Brahmadev.

The creator of the universe closed his eyes and from his heart came out Mata Saraswati in the form of Devi Brahmani, the inner energy of Brahmadev. She was sitting on the white swan, with four hands holding Veena, Vedas, mala and kamandal.

"Devi Vaishnavi, Devi Varahi aur Devi Narsimhi !" Mata Kaushiki called looking at Narayan.

He nodded and from his heart emerged Mata Laxmi in form of three goddess who were the embodiment of his energy. Devi Vaishnavi was mounted on Garud, her 4 hands holding shankh chakra gada and Padma.

Devi Varahi with the head of a boar was holding Hal and Musala (club) in her hands. Devi Narsimhi with the head of lion had four hands, holding Trishul, Damru, Kapaal and Paash.

"Devi Maheshwari !" Mata Kaushiki called looking at Mahadev.

He smiled as the goddess who was the form of his inner energy came out from his heart. She, who was Sagun Sakar form of Mahadev,  held Trishul and Damru and was mounted on Nandi.

"Devi Koumari !" Mata Kaushiki called looking at Kartikeya.

He closed his eyes and from his heart came out a goddess mounted on a peacock holding the shulam in her hands. She was the embodiment of his energy.

"Devi Mahendri !" Mata Kaushiki called looking at Indradev.

Indradev nodded and from his heart emerged Devi Sachi in the form of Mahendri, his inner energy. She was of golden complexion, carried the terrible Vajra and was mounted on Airavat.

"Devi Srinavi !" Mata Kaushiki called looking at Srinav.

He smiled as from his heart emerged Harihareshwari in the form of his inner energy, Devi Srinavi, mounted on Jaladri pakshi, with four hands holding Shanti Shankh, Shakti Chakra, Gada and reigns of the Vahan.

The Asur sena was fear stricken seeing such fearsome goddesses. From the roar of Devi Varahi and Narsimhi they fell down, from the divine glow of Devi Vaishnavi, Devi Koumari, Devi Srinavi and Devi Mahendri they seemed to have been blinded.

And they couldn't even look up to Devi Brahmani and Devi Maheshwari who were the source of all knowledge and power. But this was not all, apart from these 8 goddesses Mata Kaushiki summoned 64 Yoginis whose Hululu dhwani was unbearable to the Asuras.

And finally to top it all off, from the Shadow of Mata Kaushiki emerged the ever so fearsome Mata Kali, whose mere glance terrorized the Asuras.

"Lo ho gayi meri sena taiyyar." Mata Kaushiki smiled.
