WOO. Alright so. I submitted a helper form for a site I really like (the AOS. It sounds like that really old windows messaging system XD). And it says that it'll take a while for them to get it because they get a lot of applications (I don't blame them) and then, once they go over your application, they have everyone who's a staff member/helper have a say in whether or not you're accepted (which I think is pretty cool, but also scary)

So. I just have to wait. I submitted it last night. And I'm really nervous. So I'm just gonna put my last question details on here because I have to vent I'm sorry haha. I also don't know if I did any good. So PHEW HERE WE GO:

The question was this:
Why do you feel you'd make a good AOS staff member, and how would you help improve the AOS?
My response:
Almost every time I come on to the AOS, I try my very best to help people. It's something I really love to do. I don't necessarily need the helper position to do that, but I feel that if I had it, others could see that they could come to me for assistance. I come on pretty frequently, and I'm able to stay for a while, so if the other staff members are running short on time, I'll try my hardest to be there as helper. I realize that it's a great responsibility, and I will do my best to fulfill the roll. I've played on the AOS quite a bit, and I've grown to love it through all the people I've met and through all the time I've spent there. If I could help the community in any way, I'd gladly accept! I'd be honored if you'd consider me. Thank you for your time!

*Takes a deep breath* I'M NERVOUS. (And btw it IS for a game, so that's why I said I play on it) but man. Is this what a job application is like? Freaking suspenseful. PHEW. Needed to plop that down somewhere before it exploded my brain. I don't even know if that would get me anywhere in terms of "standing out in the crowd of other applicants", but I suppose we'll see. Yeah. That's all. I went to bed at like 1 AM. Good job, me.
