The engagement ceremony was a simple one
With few people including close family and friends.

Her smile was altogether different today.
Her face glowing like a star

While he was radiating happiness on his face......
But still there was one colour less in all this celebration

Her parents were still not very happy with him.

As everyone was busy chatting and drinking
He spotted her mother standing in a corner....alone.....

He walked to her

"Mamm...."
He called

And she immediately wiped her tears.

He came adjacent to her .....
She immediately maintain a strict face

"Kuch chahiye tumhe"
She asked

"Nahi.....
Ap yaha akeli kyun khadi hain"
He asked

"Rajveer......
Humne is rishte ke liye haan zarur ki hai.....
Par itni jaldi tumhe accept karna asan nahi hoga humare liye...
Hope tum samjhoge"

She said without looking at him

"Ji main samajhta hun....."
He said with understanding voice...

"Bohot der ho gayi hai...
Main dinner laga deti hun"

She turned to leave

"Mamm...."
He called her and she stopped

"Ap dono ko kabhi is faisle par pachtana nahi padega......
Aj bhale hi apke Dil mein mere liye khalish hai....malaal hai....
Lekin jab Tak main apke Dil mein apne liye jagaj na bana lun.....
Main koshish karna nahi rokunga
Sirf apki razamandi mere liye kafi nahi hai
Main ap dono ko khush dekhna chahta hun...."

He left the place without looking at sudden expression of relief on her face.

Three months before marriage

He brought her to his home.....
So that they can fix it before marriage

She was hopping with joy as she explore......the house .....
Can't wait to live in this house with him.

"Sir ye humara bedroom.....
Yaha kikhidki se garden ka view hai..

Aur ye sare furniture sheesham ki lakdi ke Hain...."

He was smiling at her excitement

"Agar tumhe koi changes karne ho to bata do....
Main shadi see pehle hi karwa lunga."

"Zarurat hi nahi hai
Ye Ghar aise hi kitna khubsurat hai."

She was running from one room to another... exploring every corner.

"Han par bohot time se band pada hai
Thoda renovation to karwana padega"

He said keeping his hands on his waist as his head rotate from left to right to survey the flaws which need to be fixed.

"Naina ye parde badalne padenge....
Bohot purane hain"

"To aisa karte Hain...
Main ek list bana leti hun....
Sare basic items ki
Like kitchen items
Cutlery
Toiletries....

Ap jab next weekend aoge....
Hum tab chalenge."

She made plans and he was feeling butterflies in his stomach with the thought that they will be shopping for their home....

Though the act is simple yet it means so much....
They will be working  to live together.
To make a future together.

All this is for the new life they will be starting together after a long wait.

The next few weekends went super busy for them
Working on house
Plumbing and carpentry
Most of the times he was not able to show up...from Chandigarh
And Naina use to supervise the work..

The house was ready soon waiting for them to start a new life within it.
