Sumedh's POV
When Devaki fell all the cricketers ran towards her. They looked at her and Mahi Bhai checked her.

They immediately signed the physiotherapist and other specialists to come on the field. They went and checked her.

An ambulance came and took her.

The match got cancelled.

Mahi Bhai came to me. "Kya hua usse?" I asked worringly.

"Pta nhi, bas achanak behosh ho geyi" He replied.

We went to the hospital. Doctors were checking her. "Bhai aapko kucch btaya nhi usne?" I asked Mahi bhai.

"Yeh sawal mujhe tumse poochna chahiye" He replied.

"Bhai woh aapko sab btati hai" I said.

The doctor came out.

"Inke khaane peene ka khayal kon rakhta hai?" She asked.

"Yeh khud hi rakhti hai doctor" I said.

"Lekin agar inko kisi khane pe kucch doubt ho to kisi se to advice leti hogi na?" She asked.

"Ji mujhse leti hai" Mahi Bhai said.

"Coach kon hai inke?" She asked.

"Me hi hu" Mahi Bhai said.

"Okk aur pichle dino inhone kaha khana khaya kucch pta hai?" She asked.

"Lunch to almost roz mere ghar ka hota tha kyunke practice chal rhi hoti thi, aur dinner apne ghar" Mahi Bhai explained.

"I need to talk to you guys" She said pointing towards me and Mahi Bhai.

We went to her cabin.

"Dekhie mene blood reports dekhi hai, inko khane me ek drug diya jaa raha tha" She said.

"Ek esa drug jo inko kamzor bna raha tha. Unska dose boht zada tha, aur yeh drug inko roz milta tha lunch me ya dinner me" She explained.

We looked at each other.

"Lunch to meri wife Sakshi bnati thi aur me bhi to wahi khana khaata tha" Mahi Bhai said.

"Aur dinner to poori family khati thi, unme se bhi kisiko kucch nhi hua" I said.

"Lunch ghar pe hota tha?" Doctor asked.

"Nhi, ghar se aata tha, ham lunch stadium me hi krte the" Mahi Bhai said.

"Poori team k lie ya sirf aap dono k lie aata tha?" She asked.

"Ham dono k lie" He replied.

A nurse came in and told the doctor that Devaki was gaining consciousness.

"Aap yehi rahiye please" She said and went in.

After some moments she came out and told us that Devaki was calling Mahi Bhai.

He went in.

Devaki's POV
Mahi Bhai came in the room and sat on a chair close to my bed.

"Bhai..." I said in a low voice.

"Shut up!" He said. "Tu bta nhi sakti thi k tuhe kamzori feel ho rhi hai ya stomach ache hai?" He asked.

"Bhai...I thought sabko tension hogi" I said.

"Mujhe to bta deti!" He said.

"Sorry..." I said.

"It's ok. Ab kesa feel ho raha hai?" He asked.

"Better" I said. "Bhai...woh, doctor ne btaya mujhe ek drug mil raha tha khaane me" I said. He hummed.

"Bhai I know aapko andar kahi na kahi lag raha hai k isme..." I said but he interrupted me.

"Uski hi galti hai! Tujhe bhi pta hai k Sakshi esa kaam kreghi nhi, to aur kon hai? Sumedh hi na? Uska hi kaam hai yeh!" He said irritatingly.

"Bhai, esa nhi hai. Woh sudhar..." I said.

"Woh kabhi nhi sudhrega!" Bhai said.

"Bhai meri baat to sunie" I said.

"Teri baat suni thi, uska nateeja aaj sab bhugat rahe hai!" He said.

I rolled my eyes.

He got a call. "Sakshi hai, me baat krke aata hu" He said. I nodded and he left.

I saw him stading at the door, looking at me.

I signed him to come in. He smiled and opened the door.
