( summary )

        Juniper wallace hated being alone. she was used to always having someone by her side. her parents, her friends or even the group of survivors she was with but now she has nobody. juniper had started her day as an normal one, getting up and going to work. her job as a software engineer was easy as could be but she did not expect to find her coworker eating her boss when she walked into the office like any other day. the building had immediately erupted into chaos and juniper barely made it out alive. she had found a group of people that had become her family. they had traveled together for months but ever so slowly the group was being picked off one by one til all that was left was herself. she wasn't completely alone, she had lady, a persian cat that she had found inside a dumpster. since the first day of the outbreak, juniper marks a tally in a book she kept in her bag with tallies to keep track of the days. 42 tally's since the death of her last groupmate. she thought that she had reached the end of her life as she was running dangerously low on food and water, and hadn't come across anything in a week. that was until she finds a man with a bat full of nails surrounded by many of the dead with a baby strapped to his chest.
