It was monsoon, so the wind was nonchalant, refreshing our minds. As we were travelling among the mountains, so there was huge gush of wind blowing over the land. The trees were swinging, our train snaking in the green lush forest. Jagesh, and I were chinwagging as we moved, we were talking of our last journey, which happened seven months ago, and Amrish was too present with us. As we chinwagged, we could hear the low rumbling of the thunders, as it was coming from a distance. The clouds were huddling in the sky, hiding the stars in its dark womb. As we moved, it started drizzling, and we knew after an hour, we will reach a railway junction, and we will pack our dinner from the staff canteen. The wind was chilly, as the drizzling stop, we got the report that there would be heavy rains by midnight. I could see the light illuminating at the distance, and few lights blinking among those lights. We were about the approach the station, I pulled the throttle, reducing the speed of the train. The train chugged slowly we were few minutes away from the station.

We reached the station, Jagesh applied breaks, and the train halted with a creaking sound. We got down from the train, and Amrish too got down. The station was less crowded, it was around fifteen minutes past ten. We went inside the staff canteen, I had water, and light refreshment, as after few minutes we would have our dinner. We packed our dinner, and boarded the train. The train would halt for ten minutes, and now after ten minutes. Amrish called us on walky-talky signalling us to move, the signals turned green. Amrish waved the flag, and I pressed the hooter, signalling the departure. I saw people seeing off their relatives, waving byes to the passenger, I fell into reminiscence of my childhood days, those were melodious days of my life. We left the station, there were houses, and agricultural lands around the track. Now it was a double line again, as we are on plains. We decided to have our dinner, as there are small stations, where we skip, I told Jagesh to have dinner first, and after he completed his dinner, I washed my face and hands, I sat down to have dinner. We had chapatis, dry potato vegetable, okra gravy, fried anchovies, and gravy, papad, and rice.
