Ladia woke up in a cold sweat.

What just happened..? She thought,

The dream seemed familiar. Like she experienced similar ones before. As if, she had lived it.

Her "parents" had checked on her several times due to bad dreams like that one. It wasn't fun.

It scared her.

"What if they are real..? What if they actually happened..?" She'd ask with big green eyes

"Honey, they couldn't have been real. And that's a lot of IFs." Her "mom" would say.

They just wouldn't understand.

It was nice to have parents, even if it was until she helped out Peter.

She sometimes wished she was a normal being. With a family, friends, and school.

It was crazy.

She should be happy, enthusiastic that she was a Guardian! One of the few that dealt with at least 6 cases in a year.

She was past her retirement time, but she didn't want some R&R.

She wanted to keep helping people.
