Chapter 05

- Mia White -

"Can we get something to eat? I still have that rotten egg taste in my mouth," Ben cringed. I don't blame him for wanting to eat something else since Levi did dare him to eat two rotten eggs this morning.

Today we decided just to have some fun and play truth or dare around the area. If you refuse to say the truth or do the dare, you have to be the servant who asked you truth or dare for the rest of today and tomorrow. So far, no one has backed down.

After Levi dared Ben to eat rotten eggs, Ben was more than happy when his brother also picked dare. I felt bad for Levi because he had to sit still as his brother gave him a tattoo on his back with a sharpie. Let's just say that Levi won't be taking his shirt off for a while...

No one really picked truth, which caused many rounds of embarrassment. To no surprise, Ben and Jacob was having the most fun, especially when they would dare me to do things that would piss Ace off.

Jacob led us to a store that was nearby. Luckily for Ben, there found a few treats that he liked so he bought a bunch of them. We sat down for a while, still playing the game although it wasn't as intense as before. It was sad to say that we'd be leaving Greece in a week, but I'm glad that we all had fun.

"Next time we come here, it'll just be you and me," Ace promised before kissing my forehead.

"Truth," I heard Sarah say.

"Tell me about your most awkward date," Levi smirked.

"No way. It's way too embarrassing."

"It's is," I added. "Probably the worst date known to mankind."

"Are you gonna tell me? 'Cause if you don't, you'll be my little slave."

Sarah huffed. "I guess I'm your slave then."

She rolled her eyes when Levi and Ben fist-bumped before turning her attention to me.

"Truth, or dare?"

"Truth."

She smiled widely. Oh, God. I know where this is going.

"If you were to make out with a guy in the group who wasn't Ace, who would it be?"

Ace, Jacob, Ben, and Levi looked at me with curiosity, waiting for my answer. I had to think about it for a while, and Sarah was growing just a bit impatient since she wanted to know my answer.

"Umm...Probably Levi."

Ben gasped and brought his hand to his chest as if he just got shot.

"How could you!" He dramatically fake cried. "I thought we had something special!"

I laughed, and just as I was about to say something, a voice interrupted me.

"Mia? Is that you?"

I turned around to see it was Zoey. She was with I assumed was her sister since they were identical.

Since I was in Ace's arms, I felt him tense before he looked at Levi and Ben. The smile on Ben's face suddenly turned into a mischievous smirk

I wonder what's going on with these three.

"Who are you?" was the first thing Sarah asked.

Zoey smiled and introduced herself and her sister, Natasha.

Sarah looked at me, and I knew she was asking how I knew Zoey. "I bumped into her when we went to the Red Beach," I said.

Sarah just nodded her head and introduced herself along with the others.

"I was wondering if you guys would like to stop by our mother's shop," Zoey said. "She sells all sorts of things but lately no one has stopped by."

"It's located near that jewelry store a few houses away," Natasha added.

"I wouldn't mind going," Jacob said. "Maybe I can buy something for my parents."

"I think I'll go as well," I smiled, trying to hide my annoyance. Zoey's eyes seemed to flicker between me and Ace, and I didn't like it.

"That's great!" Zoey exclaimed. "Follow us."

As we followed Zoey and Natasha, I glanced over at Sarah. There was something wrong, and I wondered if it had to do with the way Ben's as flirting with Zoey.

Sarah looked at me, her eyes narrowed. I removed Ace's arm around my waist, making him frown, and walked beside Sarah.

"What's wrong?" I quietly asked.

"I don't understand why Ben is acting all flirtatious with that girl," she replied.

"Is someone jealous?" I teased.

Sarah scoffed. "As if."

She looked at Ben and her eyes seemed to soften. "It's just. After what happened with Piper..."

I placed my hand on her shoulder, giving her a small smile. "I'm sure Ben will much more careful this time. He won't trust anyone as easily as before."

"I guess you're right."

We eventually made it to Zoey and Natasha's mother's shop, and just as Zoey said, there were multiple things laid out. There were things such as paintings, plates, cutlery, clothes, accessories, pins, vases, etc.

Sarah still didn't like how close Ben was to Zoey that's she almost broke something when she saw him wrap his arm around Zoey's shoulders. Luckily, before she exploded with anger, Levi called her over.

Sarah sighed, remembering that she was still Levi's slave.

We spent a few minutes there before deciding to go. Jacob had bought a few silverware, saying that his mother would love it. Sarah bought a light blue dress that I knew would look good on her.

We were making our way out, but I stopped when I saw Ace and Zoey. They were talking, but I wasn't close enough to hear them. My eyes slightly narrowed at Zoey when I saw her move closer to Ace, but smiled when he moved back.

"Ace!" I said, grabbing both of their attention. "We're going now. Are you coming or not?"

"You wouldn't leave without me."

"Want to test that theory?"

He chuckled and walked towards me before lifting my chin and placing a soft kiss on my lips. I grabbed his hand and looked at Zoey.

"Bye Zoey," I smiled.

She just smiled, giving me a slight nod. I pulled Ace out of the shop where the others were waiting for us. We didn't know where we were going next, but I knew that once we got home, I had to talk to Ace.

Why? Because when Ace took out his phone, I secretly glanced to see who had texted him.

It was Zoey.
