Solstice has been talking to me about some girl named ruby, shes showed me her ig and yeah I guess rubys pretty. She has long orange hair with freckles all over her skin and she has brown eyes. Right now Solstice is with Ruby at a beach. I grabbed my phone and went through rubys ig.

Time skip

Solstice hasnt talked to me in awhile and since its the weekend she wont need me. Ive just been in bed all day staring at the ceiling, then my phone started ringing? Who would call me at this hour, its 2am! I grabbed my phone and answered it.

"Hello?"

"Hey matt— cab you pizz me uv?" A slurred voice said, I checked the caller and saw it was Solstice.

"Yes, solstice are you drunk?" I asked, getting out of bed and throwing a shirt on.

I heard shuffling and someone grab the phone.

"Hey matt! This is ruby, yes she is drunk. She is fucking hammered! Can you pick her up? We're at xxx-xxx" ruby asked, she clearly wasnt drunk, maybe shes too busy to drop solstice off.

"Yeah, ill see you in ten, thanks for calling me." I said, hanging up. I put my shoes on and ran downstairs, grabbing the keys off the counter and walked to my car.

When I arrived at where ruby told me I saw Solstice throwing up and a girl with red hair holding her hair back and rubbing her back. I got out of the car and walked to solstice, with ruby. "She okay?" I asked putting my hands in my pocket, standing by solstice. "No, take her please. If I watch her throw up anymore I might throw up myself." She said, walking away quickly while gagging.

I rubbed solstice's back and nudged her, "solstice you ready?" I asked. She lifted her head up and looked at me, I saw her cheeks go red and her eyes travel all over my body. She smiled and giggled, "hello pretty boy." She stood up and twirled her hair, "hey. Its me matt, im here to drive you home, k?" I informed her. Grabbing her hand and walking with her to the van. She giggled and sat in passenger, I buckled her and shut the door and walked to my side, I opened the door and buckled up. Then put my hand on her head rest and looked behind the van, I could feel her watching me, "theres water in that compartment." I said, sitting back in my seat and pointed to a pocket in the car door, she giggled and grabbed it, "thavkz" she said, before chugging the water, "slow down, damn." I said, keeping my eyes ahead of us on the road. She groaned and rolled her eyes, putting the cap back on the water bottle and putting it back in to pocket of the door. She didnt put any music on, so we drove home in silence.

"We're gonna stay at my house for now, k?" I told her, parked in my drivewave. I looked at her and she was looking at me, her cheeks a dark red. "Can I kiss you?" She asked, fiddling with her fingers. I knew my cheeks were red, I ran a hand through my hair, "No. Not until you brush you teeth." I said, unbuckling her and getting out of the car. She scoffed and followed me inside. "You have to be quiet solstice. Everyone is asleep." She nodded and tiptoed inside my house, I chucked and followed her.

She walked into my bathroom and told me she'd get a shower AND brush her teeth, she made sure to vocalize the fact she was going to brush her teeth.

When she came out she was wearing one of my hoodies and my blue pajama pants. I smiled and lifted up the blanket, inviting her to my bed. She walked over and crawled beside me, "i brushed my teeth. Kiss me now" she demanded, i scoffed and leaned in and gave her a quick peck, she smiled and cuddled into my side. It was a couple minutes later when she spoke up, "Matt?" "Yes?" "You're the best thing thats ever happened to me, y'know that right?" She whispered in my neck, in that very moment my stomach flipped, my throat was getting itchy and my heart melted, "I-..." I attempted to talk but I was too surprised and touched to say anything, she just fell asleep, thats all she did after she said that.

When I woke up this morning solstice was laying on her belly and her mouth slightly open, one of her arms wrapped around my waist. I still couldnt get over what she said, after all, drunk words are sober thoughts. I kept overthinking about it, maybe she didnt mean it because she was drunk, maybe she was dared to say that.

Time skip

I was mindlessly scrolling through instagram when I felt Solstice shuffling and groaning, I looked down at her and saw her squinting her eyes she put her hand over her head, "fuck, where am I?" She muttered, I gave her a kiss on the cheek, she scooted away and moved her hand from her eyes and looked at me, she sighed and rolled her eyes, moving back into my side. "Goodmorning." I whispered, looking back at my phone and turning it off, "Goodmorning" she yawned. "Y'know, you called me at 2:37am." I started, "quote on quote saying 'hey matt, cab you pizz me uv'" I said, turning to look at her, "yes dont remind me. I wasnt drunk enough to forget everything," she scoffed rolling her eyes, "is that so?" I questioned, turning on my side and resting my head on my hand, "matttt" she dragged out the t, she held her head and groaned. "Get me an advil." She demanded, "yes ma'am." I said getting up and going downstairs.

I grabbed her a granola bar because you cant take medication on an empty stomach. I gave her the granola bar and the advil, "thanks matt." I leaned towards her and gave her a soft and quick kiss, she quickly kissed back. When I pulled away she groaned and ate the advil.

A/N, idk how I feel ab this. ALSO NEW CHARACTER ALERT, I love ruby sm, ive been wanting her to make her way in the story for the longest time everr.
