I woke up, searched for the alarm and got ready, yk the usual. But this time instead of finding a nice outfit, I couldn't find anything and had to go with a simple shirt and a pair of jeans. It's boring Ik.

I heard my phone buzz and saw nick text me

Stfu I'm almost done

Time skip

I sat in the mini van and listened to nick and Chris argue over carrots. "CARROTS COULD BE ANY OTHER COLOR BUT-" Chris was cut off by Nick screaming. "Why the fuck are you guys fighting over literal carrots." Matt asked, clearly annoyed, "because why the fuck not." Chris replied sitting back in his chair.

Once we had reached school I spent no time getting out of the mini van, I swear I could still hear them arguing about carrots. "How'd you sleep?" Matt asked out of blue. "I slept fine, could've been better." I said, he looked at me and smiled he hesitated to speak but then he said "probably could've slept better with me." I rolled my eyes and felt warmth on my cheeks, "aww is somebody blushing?" He remarked. I ignored him and walked into math class and sat in my usual.

Time skip to lunch

"Solstice meet at my house after school to study?" Matt asked, "yea sure, I don't see why not."

Matt's pov

I heard the front door open and footsteps towards my room. The door opened and I was met with Solstice's beautiful hazel eyes. "Sup loser. What are we deciding on for the project?" She asked before collapsing onto my bed. We discussed what we were going to do for the project. Once we sat on the floor solstice immediately started working on the project, I couldn't help but noticed her hair draped on her shoulders and amongst her back, she wore a green hoodie with grey sweats.

I heard her stomach growl, it was growling awfully loud. "I'll be right back." Solstice said before leaving the room.

20 minutes later

She came back with a plate full of food and two root beers. "I got this for you" she handed me a root beer. "Thanks, also when were you aloud to get food from my fridge without asking?" I leered, "Since forever." She smirked before eating her bread and finishing a portion of her work.

"Thanks for having me." She grinned, "anytime."

The next morning she texted me not to pick her up she claimed her mum would drive her there but she needed a ride back. After math, English, p.e and lunch I saw her by her locker. I watched some random guy approach her and start making small talk, she was clearly uncomfortable, so I put my big boy pants on and walked over to her, "Can I take Solstice from ya?" I asked grabbing solstice's hand and dragging her away she quickly thanked me. We walked over to our last class of the day, "Well that was awkward." She sighed. "Mm yea, no shit Sherlock" I teased.

She hopped into the mini van, but since Chris was late to get to the mini van she stole his spot and sat in the passenger. She peered out the window watching for Chris, once she saw him she giggled and rolled down the window to flip him off. She quickly rolled the window back up and laughed once she saw Chris slap his mouth and start running towards the mini van. Once Chris got into the van he flipped her off and started arguing with her. Nick was just watching them. I laughed and started driving.
