Lacey's POV

Prom.

Every girls dream. The one thing everyone looks forward to.

Well graduation too, but anyways.

Sadly, Jase had to go with Hope. She pulled the baby card. 'Jase your baby is inside my stomach. You didn't want me to get an abortion. So the least you can do is go to prom with me.'

God I really can't stand her. I don't know what happened to her. We use to be really good friends.

I asked Lance to go to prom with me and he agreed. Thank god we're really good friends now. I also found out him and Jase are friends. When did that happen?

Anyways as I was saying... Prom. I think this may turn out to be a good night. I really hope so.

I look in the mirror at myself. I'm wearing a floor length white chiffon strapless prom dress with silver stilettos. My hair is in a bun with loose pieces falling to the side of my face. My nails are french manicured and so are my toes.

Smiling I turn around in a circle staring at my flowy dress in the mirror. Hearing the door bell ring, I close my door and walk down the stairs. My mom giggles with Catherine while snapping pictures as I come down. I notice everyone's already here and ready to go.

"Hey guys." I smile.

"Hey! You look really pretty." Chasity hugs me.

"Girl look at you!! I mean wow. You look amazing."

She's wearing a forever unique Deana leopard print prom dress with black gladiator high heels. And her hair is a loose side fishtail braid.

Hope stands off near the corner of the room alone. I know I don't like her. None of us do... but we can at least treat her like a human.

"You look nice too Hope." I tell her.

She actually does even with the little baby bump.

I know your probably like huh? She wasn't lying about the pregnancy?

I was too.

Her blonde hair is in big curls with a braided headband crown and she's wearing a black one shoulder dress.

She looks at me and says thanks. Out the corner of my eye I see Jase looking at me. Turning my head I see him nudge his head towards the stairs. He tells the guys he'll be back. Then two minutes, later I tell Chas that I'll be back. The group doesn't even notice that both of us left in the same direction. I walk downstairs and look around for Jase but I don't see him. All of a sudden hands pull me into the dark game room.

"You look incredible. Really beautiful princess." Jase tells me as he pecks me on the lips. I can feel him looking at me even though we're in the dark. "But I think you would look even more incredible with your hair down." He says as he takes the bun out. My wild curly hair falls down into my face.

"Thanks. You look very handsome." I kiss him on the cheek.

"Um... I'm really sorry I couldn't take you to prom-"

I cut off his sentence by kissing him gently. "I don't care. You are going with us now. You won't be with me but you will be near and I can't ask for more. You need to be with Hope so I won't stop that. I can save you a dance though." I kiss down his jaw to his neck.

"Definitely save that dance. And I'm sorry about Hope."

"Stop apologizing." I feel him nod. "Now kiss me." I whisper.

I hear him laugh lightly and shake his head. Then he pulls me into a passionate kiss.

"Lacey! Jase! You two better not be where I think you are, doing what I think your doing!" Duke yells from the living room. I hear everyone laughing. Well probably not Hope.

"Shit." Jase and I whisper at the same time then laugh and kiss again.

We finally left the house after me and Jase went back into the living room. We thought it would be fine if we came upstairs at different times. But Duke figured out because Jase had lipstick on his lips and down his neck. Oops.

We were supposed to leave 20 minutes ago but my mom and Catherine wanted to take a million and one pictures. Thankfully John knocked some sense into them. Finally we escape the two crazy women and get in the limo. I'm sitting between Lance and Jase.

Feeling a hand on my lower back, I look over at Lance but see him talking to his brother. Then I look over at Jase and see him smirking while looking at his phone.

I should've known. I feel my phone vibrate in my bra.

Don't ask me why it's there. It just is.

I take it out and see Jase now looking intensely at my boobs. Perv. I check the new message.

Jase:

Don't think we were finished with what happened in the game room princess 😏

I smile and put my phone away.

We get to the school gym and it has been transformed into a winter wonderland with fake snow everywhere on the ground, white trees all around, and snowflakes in the air.

~Later in the night~

I change from my prom dress to a printed ruffle crop top, red high waist millennium shorts, and black lace high heels. Jase changed into a black button up shirt, dark blue jeans, and black Nike sneakers.

We changed because our music teacher and principal asked us to be the live entertainment. We agreed picked our songs overnight and made up dances.

"Now let's give Mr Jase Rodriguez and Ms Lacey Robertson a hand." The principal says..

Then sits and points to the other side of the stage which is dark and the lights go off again. This time the stage if half lighten up. This time it shows Jase.
