Lance fired shots at some kind of monsters coming at him in a cave. "Lance, get out of there! Now!" He heard Allura yell through their ear phones. Lance ran, shooting more at the monsters before a rumbling sound made him stop and look up. Boulders rolled down the side of the hill he was by and he yelled loudly.

Dust settled around the pile of boulders. Lance laid under a boulder, half crushed but alive and awake. he cough and yelled for help. "Shiro! Allura! Hunk! Pidge!" He coughed and looked through the dust. The sounds of steps caught his attention and he looked forward. Thinking it was Shiro he sighed in relief. "Shiro!" he called but got no response. 

Finally Lance saw the form of the person coming towards him. It was definitely a male, but shorter and less bulky than Shiro, or Hunk. Lance focused on the furred, pointy ears on the male and his eyes widened. Allura always told the paladins about the galra, and how they were vicious and blood thirsty.

"Get back!" Lance said with a shake in his voice. "I have a weapon!" He lied since his weapon was knocked away from him.

"No you don't." The galra said and came into full view. He had soft purple skin-er fur with big cat like ears. And his eyes were a shining, soft yellow. Framing his face was a black-purple mullet that fell to the middle of his shoulders. Lance felt his cheeks get pink a bit but shook his head. The galra got closer, and closer making Lance plan out his will.

"I want all of my things given to my mother!" He declared and grit his teeth, prearranging for pain that didn't come. Instead he felt the weight of the boulders get pushed off of him. It still made him flinch but it felt better once the rocks were off of him. "Huh? You aren't going to kill me?"

"I'm not going to attack an idiot that can't even defend himself." His purple ears angled back at him before he picked Lance up and put him on his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. 

"I'm not an idiot!" Lance growled and looked at him. "Hey, I thought Galra's were supposed to be huge. You're so short!" Lance got an ice cold, yellow glare and was set down on a rock while the cat eared boy grabbed Lance's weapon and handed it to him. "Uh thanks galra, but this means I can shoot you."

"Don't call me a galra!" He snapped at him hotheadedly and crossed his arms. "The name is Keith. How would you like me calling you 'human' or 'paladin'?" Keith's ears went back and he turned his nose.

"Okay, Jeeze man. Chill." Lance held his hands up in defense and looked down at his injured side. "Oosh, I hope this heals quickly." He said softly.

Keith glanced at him and walked over to his ride. He pulled out a bottle and headed towards Lance. "Its water." He said and offered it to him. Before Lance could grab it though shot came out of nowhere and shot Keith in the back.

Keith growled and pulled out his dagger that got bigger when he got it to work. He took a fighting stance and watched as the lion paladins surrounded him. He narrowed his eyes and weighed his options.

"Guys cool it!" Lance yelled at his teammates and limped off the rock to try and stop them. "He isn't dangerous!" He said and grabbed Shiro. The black and white haired male glanced at him. "He got me out from the boulders."

Hunk and Pidge were after him with Allura coming up from behind. Keith was able to dodge them, and strike back.

"Hunk, Pidge, Allura, stand down!" Shiro yelled at them. Allura looked upset and narrowed her eyes while the other two stopped. "Lance said he helped him."

"But hes the enemy!" Allura said in distress. "Hunk, grab him!" She said.

Keith dodged the grab and put away his dagger. "Don't touch me." He said and twitched his ear. "I'm not your enemy because I did't do anything. I helped your loser, now I'm leaving." he said and jumped down from where he was chased up."

"Hey!" Lance pouted and tried to stand up straight.

"Actually, We would like to talk to you." Shiro said. "And thank you for helping our 'loser'."

Keith looked at them, and then at the princess. "Keep her away from me." He said and leaned against his ride. Allura walked off towards their ship in a huff. He knew most of the galaxy hated him simply for being half of a problem. He clicked his tongue. 

Lanced limped towards him with a smug look. "There, I saved you. Now we're even." He smiled and Keith rolled his eyes.

The paladins and Keith headed towards the ship. They had much to talk about.
