Inspiration

The main inspiration for the Ozaro Palace is the Paoay Church found in Ilocos Norte, Philippines. It was built during the Spanish colonial era. The baroque building was constructed using coral stones and brick walls. Its architectural details seemed to have been influenced by Javanese.

The church is supported by twenty four large buttresses. It is constructed to withstand earthquakes as many churches in the Philippines have been damaged before.

The Ozaro Palace

The Ozaro Palace in Daracka is the home of the royal family for the bloodline of Ozaro. It was built after the end of the old kings and the old kingdom.

It is constructed on top of a small tepui in the city of Kazima in Kataro, the northern most province of Daracka. It faces the south seeming to look over the whole kingdom. It has the view of the ocean, the mountains, and the northern edge of the Shadow Desert.

The masonry of the Ozaro Palace is of coral rocks and darkened mortars. Each keep is designed with a pediment. The tops of keeps and towers are finished with finials.

The prayer tower resembles a pagoda.

The Ozaro Palace is always said or written with the determiner 'the'.

The Banner and Insignia of Ozaro

The insignia of Ozaro is designed with thorny vines and utilizes the colors of Daracka's forests (green) and skies (blue).

The vines represent the people of the kingdom. The leaves for the Maginoo. The thorns for the Maharlika. And the stems for the common people.

The fly end of the banner is triangular. The point end resembles a single ruler of Daracka, and the four squares at each sides of the point resembles the supporting political levels. All governing bodies are positioned at the tail end to display the role as a servant of the kingdom.
