Jail

Veer goes away and ammaji after going inside asked one of the officers as where will she find vidyut. On being asked as to why she wants to know she stated that it simply as curiosity and that she wants to see him once. The officer told her his cell and she went towards that direction.

Vidyut's cell was to the last end of the jail where usually no one goes as that part of the jail is half demolished. The area was dark with no lights even in the day it is dark as the trees surrounding the area doesn't allow sunlight to pass through. Vidyut choose this part of the jail for himself as he wanted to stay away from everyone and not meet anyone.

Ammaji slowly without making any noise went towards the cell and saw that the cell was totally covered with writings and pictures of people as the outline looked so but of the four walls one wall was left empty and vidyut was sitting and staring at the wall as if someone is talking to him saying him something important.

She took a look at the walls and everywhere it was written avni, neil and of the two names neil was striked out and vidyut was written instead of it. Ammaji was able to make out that the drawings on the wall were of a girl and boy.

The drawing of the boy was totally scribbled on and crossed out. The face of the boy was not at all visible but his cap was visible which had IPS written on it and the girl's drawing had only her lips which adorned a beautiful smile and her head which had thick long hair though most of her facial features were missing.

Ammaji concluded that the paintings were of avni and neil. After seeing the condition of the cell and vidyut she was thinking of how to start the conversation as vidyut was turned towards the wall. She then said...

Ammaji (A): Avni zinda hain...... (Avni is alive......)

As soon as vidyut heard avni's name his body which was arched straightened and he turned his face a bit to see who is it saying avni's name.

Vidyut (V): Kya bola tumne? (What did you say?)

A: Avni zinda hain. (Avni is alive.)

V: Nahi.. Tum juth bol rahe ho avni ko maine apne inn ankho se jalte hue dekha tha. Mere hi ghar mein meri wajah se mar gayi woh. (No.. You are lying. I've seen avni burning in the fire with these eyes. In my house and because of me she died.)

A: Arey bole toh samajh nahi aata kya.. Avni zinda hain. Ussne tujhe bewakoof banaya hai. (Don't you understand if I say.. Avni is alive. She made you a fool.)

V: Toh kaha hai woh? (Where is she?)

A: Arey woh toh apne pati ke saath hai. (She is with her husband.)

V: Tumhara matlab neil khanna. Lekin usse kaise pata ki avni zinda hain. (You mean neil khanna. But how does he know avni is alive.)

Ammaji taking it as a right opportunity to take vidyut onto their side told that,

A: Neil ko kyu nahi pata hoga. Usne aur avni ne milke tumhe arrest karwane ke liye ye sab kuch plan kiya tha. Aur tu bewakoof phass gaya unke plan mei. Taras aata hai mujhe tere pe. (Why will neil not know. He and avni made this plan to get you arrested. And you being a fool got trapped in their plan. I pity you vidyut.)

V: Nahi.. Meri avni kabhi aisa nahi karegi. Tum jhoot bol rahi ho. (No.. My avni will never do such a thing. You are a liar.)

A: Teri avni.. Kahe ki avni. Aur teri kabse ban gayi woh. Hamesha se woh neil ki rahi hai aur abhi bhi neil ki hi hai. Tu ishq mei andha, tere bhavanavon ke saath dono ne khilwaad kiya hai. (Your avni. Don't say like that. And from when did she become yours. She was always neil's avni and till date she is. They played with your emotions since your eyes were blinded by love.)

V: Mei kaise maan lo tumhari baat? (Why should I believe you?)

A: Yakeen nahi hota. Teek hai shaam kho apne iss mahal se bahar aakar purane paper mei dekh lena avni ki zinda hone ki khabar rahegi aur usske saath neil bhi. Usske baad mujhse aake milna teek hai mei chalti abhi. (You don't believe me. Okay. In the evening come out of this palace of yours and check in the newspapers whether she is alive or not and you'll see neil also with her. Then come and meet me. Okay. I am going.)

To say vidyut was shocked would've been an understatement. He was slowly recollecting what ammaji told and also thinking over what happened in the past.

Khanna Mansion

Neil was getting ready to go police station while avni was getting the breakfast ready. Only neil and avni were there in the house as all the members have gone to temple on bebe's request.

Neil reading a file when avni came in with the lunch box. She was going to keep it on the table when her leg got struck on the wet towel which was laid on the floor. She was about to fall when neil came forward and held her but his balance also got dissembled due to the hard pull of avni's hand on the collar of his shirt and in the process all the buttons of his shirt were removed and both of them were lying on the floor with avni on top of neil.

Avni's face was on his chest and his hands were around her waist. Both looked up and shared an eye lock getting lost in each other until neil's ringtone broke it. Both of them got up and neil went to attend the call while avni stood rooted to her spot.

Avni saw neil come back after completing the call and she immediately went near to him seeing his shirt totally torn out because of her swift pull.

Avni: Sorry neil, because of me your shirt got torn.

Neil: No problem, neilanjana. I have another one I'll wear it and come.

Neil went to his wardrobe and when he opened it he saw that his other shirt was not there and that's when he remembered it being in the laundry for wash. Neil then took few buttons, a thread and a needle kept in the drawer of his dressing table.

He came and sat on the bed and started to stitch the buttons onto the shirt but was not able to do it properly. He stitched two buttons in which one of them fell down. Neil was continuously trying when avni came forward and took the needle from neil.

She sat beside him and started to stitch the buttons while neil was just looking at her. Feeling his gaze on her she looked back and then neil diverted his gaze elsewhere. Within no time she had stitched all the buttons from top till the end of the shirt.

She then leaned closer to his stomach to cut off the thread. He just closed his eyes as her hot breath was fanning onto his bare stomach making him go through feelings which were not foreign to him but which were forgotten in this span of 10years.

Avni after completing got up and was moving towards the door when she slipped due to puddle of water droplets formed by the wet towel making her to fall onto neil. Both again had an eye lock and neil moved some of her hairs which were spreading onto her face.

Both of them were drowning into each other's eyes. It looked as if they were communicating something which the mind did not give permission to tell to the other. Their staring session was broken by dd who came to pick neil up.

Dd: Neil sirrr.......

Hearing dd, avneil stood straight and were not at all looking at each other while their cheeks adored a crimson hue. Avni went off to the kitchen not looking at dd. Both neil and dd then came to eat breakfast and both left after having it while the affair was a totally silent one.

I've decided to write neil and dd's investigation as to how they will find out what the don is planning. Vidyut will also play a prominent role as it will be his plan not don's.

And one of the reader (sorry I don't remember the username) has asked me to include avni in the case and police department. It will be decided on your opinion. If you agree, I'll do it but it will take time. You have to be patient.

So, do you want me to write the investigation or not? And do you want avni to join the police force?
