Annika couldn't do anything rather to press her lips to a line and smile watching gauri hiding her eyes with a black bunched strings which obviously belonged to her husband's. Thanks to Om for choosing a terrific horror film as their to be screened picture . He himself was finding all ways to hide his face whenever the sound effects reduced seeming to bring some horrendous scene ,and his wife was just so much in spreading his hair on her eyes in fear . And Rudra who was shelled by his thick blanket started shivering ,as he listened to the screeching sound of the door when the girl in the movie walked inside the house . He was literally going to insert the pop corn into his nose as his eyes were boomed on watching the mirror scene . Ahh, sound effects play a vital role in horror movies that with a mere noise one's BP can raise as mountains.
Annika chuckled watching their states .

Wait one second ,where is the third one ?
She looked back as her Prince was seated on the bed behind her. Is he still engaged with his laptop? Ufff! No, looks like he's trying to shield his sight off the screen using the laptop. Is he feared of ghosts too? She wondered watching his figure shrinking with his head bent facing the keys. Damn ,he just didn't see the screen even but he looked an afraid cat already .

Aww ! Feared Prince is really cute ,she smiled dreamily.

Thud thud thud ,

Boom, Rudra had wriggled out worst on listening to knock sound all of a sudden and everyone started laughing on him as all those golden pricks of pops were fully emptied on his head due to his sudden stunt .

P- shivaay..., Om Rudra , the dinner is ready .

They heard pinky's voice from outside . Shivaay and Om just laughed out watching their brother's pitiful state while Gauri scooted close to Rudra who was busy dusting his hair ,and helped him .

R - enough baiya , Teek hai na . I was already scared after watching that ghost's face and suddenly when I heard the knock sound I was really... , urghh!

He sighed shaking his head to remove the image of that ghost from his mind.

Pinky who just sat after serving shivaay , looked at him in worry.

P- Did you watch an horror movie today ?

Her sudden worried ascent grasped annika's attention who was concentrating on her plate until then .

S - ji mom .

A shocked pinky instantly turned aside towards shakthi in a jolt and announced .

P- ohh my mata ! dekiye shakthiji, I'm going to sleep in shivaay's room today. Don't forget to have your medicines, ok ?

Sh - par kyun?

He asked in bewilderment and so looked others who were present for the dine .

P- arey, aap bool gayi ? Shivaay is so scared of ghosts . Bachpan se hi! He used to cry after watching horror movies and I had to sit all night ,reciting sweet angel stories for him .

As pinky finished explaining, annika was literally biting her lips to control that heavy smile from opening up while shivaay glared at his mother ,being so embarrassed.

S- mom !

P- arey , kya beta ? Sabko dar lagtha hai booth se . No need to get embarrassed,

She spoke patting his shoulder and he was in process of trying to capture annika's reaction who immediately looked down when she caught his sight. He had a defeated face when he heard his mother resuming his childhood stories . No ,did she just mention about his deed when he had pissed on his pants that night after watching a movie which hardly was scary ? Ohh !

A- oreo ,come on baby take the ball . See udhar hai,

She threw the ball which went hidden beneath the couch ,rolling . Oreo who ran all the way till the couch didn't move further and just stayed there, staring at her cutely.

A- kya ? Take it !

All her commands went in vain when she saw him to be scooping himself into something small, in preparation for a nice sleep.

A- you're getting a ton of snacks here after every meal right ? It has made you so lazy .

Oreo watched her strict face and let a wide yawn making her glare .

A- haww !

That's when she noticed shivaay already beneath the duvet , but the lights were still on. She casually went and switched off the lights . Instantly she saw him waking up in a jolt and looking around , she put on the lights again .

A- what happened shivaay ? You want them on ?

He pretended a clear face and shook his head .

S - no .

A- shall I call aunty?

He grasped that sheepish smile on her face and passed a glare .

S - annika enough ,just put the lights off and sleep.

Saying which he hit the bed again making her chuckle. Look at his Tadi !

A - don't worry, mein hoon na ? I'll save you from ghosts .

Making slow steps upto him ,she muttered before putting the night lamp kept on the table near his head ,on and switched off the other lights .

S- I heard you ,

He replied still closing his eyes , at once she ran around the bed and layed by her side .

Next day ,

C - plss Adi , I don't want to talk of this anymore . We had something between us in the past ,but it's already over now. Did you get that ?

Adi - won't you ever try to understand me charu ? Annika said that she's going to take us to our parents today . I'm ready to ask sorry throughout my lifetime for my deeds  ,par ...

Annika and shivaay who were now standing by the main door heard their arguments . Shivaay looked at her with his raised eyebrows and she bit her tongue.

A- uhh, it's going to be a tough task handling them .

S- yeah ,I can feel that .

He sighed.

On hearing the calling bell , Adi walked past Charu towards the door. As the door opened wide ,his face relaxed on witnessing his dear friend at the doorstep. Someone who can save him from the fighting cock inside .

And yeah ,the very second he stiffened up on watching the person beside annika .

' why these two men are sharing an eyelock now ? ' annika thought.

Indeed , both were perfectly exchanging terror glances . Shivaay's gaze did shout anger , for kidnapping the girl who was not just his bride rather his close friend. Adi ,on the other side was raged on him  because he was the one whom his charu chose over he himself. Their piercing sight on the other clearly mentioned that controlling these both is another tough task now.

' Bahubali part 3 ' annika muttered to herself watching the two men, standing straight opposite to each other doing nothing but killing the other with invisible daggers .

Just when charu came there , shivaay's attention peeped off .

C - shivaay ...?

She moved forward and both shared a friendly hug which did no good to Adi .
Annika who sensed his burning belly, chuckled before nudging his shoulder.

A- hey ,don't turn to ashes man . Friendly gesture hai ,

Ad - chod Ani ,

He spoke in a faint voice and moved inside while annika looked at him worriedly. Indeed , she felt bad for her bestie who was now facing many difficulties with his love . One ,charu is already very much ignorant to his true feelings and now that she's going to leave back to her house , his point of confidence in winning her back seemed to gradually fall.

Inside the house ,

S - kaisi hai tu?

C - I'm sorry shivaay I ,

S - it's true that I was angry on you before. But when I came to know the truth from annika , I realized. You didn't do anything wrong charu . Only they will be punished,who did wrong.

Glaring at Adi who stood leaning on the wall with his folded arms ,he spoke .

Ad - annika ,ask your husband to stop all this faint warnings. I ain't feared of anything.

He replied looking at annika and rolled his eyes ,watching which shivaay's nerves fired up.

S - charu ,It's upto you now . I can call the commissioner , if you'd want to give a complaint for kidnapping you .

Annika looked shocked listening to his proclaiming words and Adi didn't seem to react much rather he was keen in registering charu's face. Was she really going to do that?

A- shivaay , what's this?

Before shivaay could reply ,Adi spoke.

Ad - it's ok annika . I know, whatever I did is wrong , and if charu wants me behind the bars ,I'm all happy with her decision.

Charu who was staring somewhere else until then ,slowly travelled her gaze to him. She just remained silent which itself hurt him more and annika thought of doing something right now , shivaay wasn't  randomly speaking of the complaint. She did know how angry was he on Adi for troubling his friend .

A- charu , open your mouth and say something damn it . Before anything, Adi is your friend .

She insisted but charu continued to be idle.

S - stop defending your friend annika. I've already asked not to interfere into charu's decisions. Only she must decide for herself .

It was more like an argument than a fight as all the four were just reacting for the moment without thinking of anything .

A- from when did you change like this charu ? Adi hamara ( interrupted)

C - just shut up annika !

Charu's sudden shout made annika shudder back and hit something hard , it was his broad chest on which she leant.
She noticed charu's rageous glare which contained a more of emotions , anger , pain and what not ?

C- sab apne hai tumhare liye and all should be happy for you! And what about me and our parents ? Do you even realize what our parents would have gone through when they came to know that I was missing ? They're still thinking that I eloped with Adi by myslef . And ye sab ,iske vaja se huwa ( pointing Adi ). How can you even support him annika ? I'm not able to do that ,

She shook his head and looked away while Adi stood with a painful reaction .

A - what are you speaking charu ? Don't you care for Adi ?

Her low voice mentioned her state ,indeed she was taken aback by charu's words. Charu and Adi were as good friends like she herself and Adi . She didn't want things to break apart between them . Regarding a relationship, she can't do anything but as a companion she definitely knew how close where charuka and Adi.

C - bas ! Hamare beech ( signifying herself and Adi ) sab teek karne ka shock haina tumhe? Chod dho usse , just don't interfere in my things.

She spat in anger . True that she had no intention to hurt her sister . But now ,it was only he parents of whom she could think of . It pained her badly that she had become a reason for their distress. And that reversely effected Adi's place in her heart ,as unfortunately he is one main reason for her parent's dishonor.

Shivaay watched as annika crooked her eyes on charu . Well ,he himself couldn't take this . How can charu just shout at her like that? A part of him certainly never was able to stand any harsh words on her . Something within him erupts in such situations as like the same which happened the other day when Tej spoke ill of her. He was just getting to know her through days ,but one fact about her was very well known to him .

She's a damn selfless girl, and that very thing seeks his heart to keep her safe from any difficulties which tends to reach her.

Annika felt so helpless. Both are her people and she couldn't play supportive for one alone ,but she would not want them to stand as enemies too.

She looked at Adi who shook his head ,indicating her to stop defending him.

Turning back to face shivaay ,she spoke .

A - she's right . We shouldn't interfere in this anymore shivaay , it's upto her now . Let her file a complaint if she wants , I ain't going to stop her .

His glance travelled to seek her eyes which seemed weak. She could neither support her friend nor her sister . He regretted for taking this complaint topic . The situation was a completely coiled knot . Thinking of his friend's problem, he tried to woo her but it is annika who is being hurt now as she has to take her bestie's side .

Everything on one side , and she alone on the other . Her pale reaction didn't keep things calm within him .

C - I don't want to give any complaint, I just want to go to my papa now.

As charu packed her stuffs, shivaay got himself engaged in a buisness call while annika noticed Adi's absence in the room .

' ye kahan gaya ? '

She thought to herself and made way towards the bedroom at the first floor .

A - what are you doing here Adi ? Come le ,

Her words stopped at once when she found him seated quietly with a sad face  , his eyes were all welled up .

He stood up and wiped his palm over his face maintaining an all is well look to present himself to annika .

Ad - hey ani , chalein?

A - don't fall sad Adi , everything will be fine .

She muttered in a low yet assuring voice and Adi just put on a weak smile.

Ad - Ahh, how can I forget this ? One best mind reader is my dear friend na !

A - you know about charu right ? Vo ,

Ad - hey hey annika , I ain't hurt or angry because of charu . Actually she is right on her side . But it doesn't mean that she hates me , she does love me still and I know that . Fact ye hai ki ,she's so angry one me which automatically makes her think that she hates me . I don't know how I'm going to win your mad sister back . Bas , vahi ka dar hai muje .

He was certainly worried because what if charu doesn't understand him ever ? Annika just couldn't watch her ever so cheerful friend like that. She felt helpless .

A - I'm sorry Adi, mein kuch nahi karparahi hoon .

Ad- it's getting more deep  . Let's drop my tragedic story for now and peep into your fairytale !

In motive of lifting her mind ,he exclaimed for which she smiled , not immediately but yeah she did .

A - meri fairytale ka kya ?

Ad - yahi ki , your shivaay looks a big villain in my story but indeed, a Prince in your's .

A - matlab ?

Ad- I'm being honest ok , keeping our disputes apart. I must say this ,your selection is the best. Shivaay is amazing !

With a cheerful smile ,he affirmed and she was being dragged to her dreamland every now and then after hearing him .

He spoke remembering shivaay's restless face back then .

Annika just couldn't register his words properly. Possessive...?! She grinned wide in surprise and jumped to hug him.

Shivaay opened the door and came in just to stop by the way witnessing them  in that position, especially after hearing annika's words .

Sensing someone behind her, annika tried to get off Adi's grip who just tightened more making her baffled.

A - bas ,chod na ? Peeche kaun hai ?

She whispered to maintain a low tone while Adi smirked before preparing for the same kind of tone.

Ad - your prince .

Her eyes popped out at once and she tried to somehow pull back but no , he seemed strong .

A - hey adi ,what are you doing ?

Ad - don't you want to see your possessive prince?

Adi whispered scanning shivaay's reactions keenly who looked entirely disturbed. For just once when he saw them both like that, after that he didn't choose to spare a glance on them rather kept looking away .

A- ahh! Bas tum hi rak lo , he isn't like that . He never feels anything for me ,

She said with a defeated face, remembering shivaay's statement  .

Ad- you don't have to believe me . Just count till three, you yourself will see the magic! One.... ,t

That's it ,

S- annika ,

The patience meter in him drained away worstly that he could no longer hold back .

Annika pulled off at once and walked till him while he scowled at Adi before meeting her face .

S- it's time already, chalthey hain .

He declared and walked out at once for annika to follow him ,being worried .Did he misinterpret anything ? While descending down the stairs after him she looked back at Adi who showed a thumbs up with a fully grinned face .

' what did you just do ? donkey ! ' she lip mouthed in return .

Trying to maintain the same pace as his's she was certainly running. Those alternatively immediate sounds of his shoes on the steps mentioned the rate . Ohh! Why is he behaving a jet now ? She followed him,

A - shivaay , why are you running now?

She spoke inbetween her high rated breath.

S- it's already late annika . Maybe you have time for everything, but for me time is very precious.

The tone of his stern voice clearly stated that something was wrong .

'  did he hear it ? ' her head was blasting with questions.

A - uhhh, I'm sorry shivaay. I didn't notice you there . Adi se baath karni gayi thi, aur ( interrupted)

S - yeah , you were busy consoling your friend with sweet words . Sorry for disturbing you .

The firm tone of his voice was all enough for her to make sure that he was feeling indifferent.

A- nahi shivaay ,I was just

He stopped his fast pace abruptly and turned back only for her to bang on him as she didn't notice that he had stopped already . He had to step down back a second to balance , as she just hit him in such a force .

S - you don't have to explain anything annika . Mein bhi apne baiyon se I love you boltha hoon , to my mom ,badimummy I mean It's common.

Blinking once he shrugged his shoulders and she watched him in keen . Both were certainly blind to the know that they were acting as a full fledged couple in love . After all, weren't they toghter just because of the situation and claimed that they hardly have anything between them ? Means, it wasn't necessary for her to justify herself while he neither should try convincing her but yeah , they were doing it.

S- vaise, I shouldn't have spoken of the police complaint and all because of which charu shouted at you . I'm sorry ,

She shook her head indicating that it wasn't his fault when he stepped down to move but halted as if he forgot something and once again climbed up to reach the same step of the stair case where she stood .

Feeling him standing right infornt being so close that her thumping chest could actually hit his's alternatively , she inched back and took a deep gulp before meeting his eyes which were already into her's by now .

S- I don't know about others, but in your case .... I love you becomes special when you get lost in the other's eyes in process of seeking a soulful emotion which automatically lets your face sparkle with a glow . And I've seen that glow in your face , jab tumne muje ...mere liye vo shabdh kaha .

The husky crunch in his voice had everything to sweep he off that for a second she couldn't sense her own legs which felt so light . The way he emphasised the word mere liye , sounded as if he claimed something rightful . Only if she were in her senses she would have noticed how the man here was keenly watching her each feature by close with full concentration.

He let a confused smile on witnessing a frozen her ,and left down the stairs leaving her sigh huge.

Only when she no longer witnessed those captivating eyes , she remembered to breathe . And this thumping heart of her's was  increasing more as if it'll just jump off the ribs now. Clearly the reason weren't the long trail of stairs rather the seemingly strict yet the most lovable man whom she  labels as Prince.

She just sat right there , cupping her chin .

' shivaay sach mei mere liye possessive hai kya ?'

She remembered his piercing stare which attracted her like anything and blushed like a maniac facepalming herself. All flies were dancing in her stomach as she felt losing herself in those blue orbs which didn't seem to leave her mind anytime.

That's how he affects her ,
