Annika was all set to leave with shivaay .

He helped her settle in the back seat and turned after closing the door to only notice Raghav's sight fixed on his daughter still. Shivaay sensed his thoughts, he then tried holding his hand to seek his attention . When Raghav looked at him , shivaay passed an assuring blink. Raghav nodded in positive and smiled softly.

A- finally you're getting rid of me , you must be so happy ?

Annika peeped through the window and spoke to her sister who smiled rolling her eyes.

C- whatever! Here , take this .

Charu gave a cream pack , annika frowned.

A- see even now you're teasing me . Fairness cream bahut zarori hai kya ab ? with all these scars on my face !

C- budhu , bool gayi ? Scar removal gel hai ye .

She smacked her head lightly and annika's eyes widened in realization.

A- ohh good behna !

C - use this , and within a month you'll find a huge difference !

A- ek second, you sound like a sales executive uncle who roams around with those beauty products . Side business shuru karo na ! Or wait , you can even try working for advertisements . Wah ! Kaise mast ideas de rahi hoon na mein ?

As annika pretended to smirk lifting her invisible collar ,Charu shook her head in disbelief and peeped from that side to call shivaay .

C- shivaay , your wife is waiting .

S- haan.

He sat inside and started the engine while annika narrowed her eyes at charu who blinked, waving her hands .

It was 10 .30 at night , annika was already asleep . Shivaay sat on the bed and kept looking at her quietly when someone knocked the door . He immediately covered the duvet over her before moving towards the door .

S- badepapa?

T- shivaay , I had asked a signed check for the SR steels  company right ?

Shivaay shook his head ,insisting him to reduce his volume .

S- one second papa, annika is sleeping. Yahan nahi .

He closed the door and both stood outside ,at one corner of the living room .

T- You just left the office without even informing me and you still haven't approved the check . That owner is calling me since morning , you're the CEO shivaay . Act responsibly !

S- badepapa, I was going to speak to you about this actually . Mein , ...I want to return all my shares . I'm resigning.

Tej was shocked listening  his words .

T- what are you saying shivaay ?

People who were present in the living room clearly heard Tej's not so silent shout .

P- what happened jethji? Shivaay ?

Pinky looked at both of them in confusion .

T- your son wants to resign .

P- kya ? Shivaay what is he telling?

Om and gauri who were also present there , looked entirely bewildered.

S- mom , he is the reason for my decision . I want to do something for myslef , I don't want my luck to hold me up anymore .

Except Tej , none understood what he was speaking about.

Om- shivaay , we don't understand anything. Suddenly kya huwa tumhe ?

T- mein bathathi hoon Om , I know what your brother wants to prove. Shivaay , this attitude won't help you. Whatever I said is true , you got into our business by luck kyunki tum hamare bete ho . I don't think I was wrong , but I never thought that you'd end up taking such a decision.

S- yes badepapa , you were right ! It's not your fault. I want to do this for my sake , to know what I'm capable of . Mein apna business shuru karna chahtha hoon , our company isn't dependent on me right tho please carry on .

T- this attitude of yours will take you nowhere shivaay. Mein bhi dektha hoon , kya karthe ho tum .

P- jethji , how can you speak to him like this ? You were the one who brought him up and taught him everything since when he was a child , he respects you even more than his own parents, bool gaya sab ?

Om- dad , please calm down .  Araam se baath karenge tho

T- nahi Om , don't assume this as a fight or something. It's nothing like that,  shivaay is also my son . Teek hai shivaay, it's your decision . Do whatever you want , asaan nahi hai business shuru karna. Soon you'll realise what Oberoi Empire is and without it... what you are .

Shivaay smiled faintly.

S- thanks badepapa, I'll take this as your blessings .

Tej just stared at shivaay intently for all the others looked really  worried .

The next morning annika woke up to find his side empty. She frowned a little and traversed her eyes around the room to soon find him on the couch , seriously engaged with his laptop .

A- I  don't know how only people tend to sacrifice sleep for work  ?!!

She expressed and squeezed her eyes with her palm but he neither looked at her nor even reacted .

Annika somewhere sensed that he was disturbed,  his  pale face shouted that he hadn't slept last night . She became worried .

'Prince ko suddenly kya huwa? '

She jumped down the bed .

A- shi

He interrupted.

S- utt gayi tum ?

She frowned . He realized this only now ?

S- ok listen now , the breakfast is ready. Go fresh up and gauri will feed you, I have an important work . Chalna hai muje . And remember ,no climbing upstairs . Hmm ?

Touching a spot on her chin lightly he watched her keenly expecting a response while she nodded quietly.

He left .

Annika kept watching  the doorway through which he just went , her mind was surrounded with clueless thoughts .

In dining room

A- haaye gauri ! I guess one bubbly cute baby is awaiting inside , belly tho kaafi big lagthi hai.  Koi nahi , I love babies !! And chubby babies tho cutest hai ! So gauri , it's you who should eat well now, for our chubby bubble inside  .Yelo 

Annika exclaimed turning the spoon towards gauri for she chuckled before opening her mouth  .

G-  haa haan! I will give you a bubbly baby if you agree to give a small brother or sister for my baby soon !

Gauri popped her brows and smiled while annika opened her mouth in round realizing what she meant . Before she could answer,  both heard pinky's voice .

P- bath tho sahi hai!

She served for herself and took a seat beside gauri .

P- socho na annika , how would my shivaay's daughter or son look ? ! Uske blue aankein, ....aur

A- aunty , I think you're forgetting something. If shivaay is the father , tho mein maa hoona ! Why would you highlight his features alone !

Pinky and gauri laughed watching her grumpy face.

P- arey , pehle achi kabar tho dedho na! Then I'll prepare a whole list of how the baby will look, and don't worry annika ,that list would include your features too .

Hearing pinky's words annika turned all sides to hide her blush which didn't go unnoticed by them .

P- vaise , hai kahan shivaay ?

A-  I think there's some important work at office, he left so early today .

P- nahi , kal raath jo huwa ...uske baath I don't think he would  have gone to office .

Pinky spoke in a trance without realizing anything.  Annika was confused .

A- matlab ? What happened last night ?

Gauri and pinky looked at each to exchange different reactions which annika clearly saw .

G- shivaay baiya didn't tell you anything?

Annika shook her head and negated . Gauri and pinky regretted for opening up this topic to her , because if shivaay hadn't disclosed it to her yet ,even they can't admit everything  just like that.

A- bol na gauri ... what happened ?

G- kuch  nahi bhabi,  I don't know I

Annika held her hand instantly.

A- gauri ! Tell me .

She insisted seriously.

Gauri looked at pinky and then at her sceptically before narrating everything.

Annika was shocked after listening to whatever gauri said .

A- shi shivaay is going to start a new business?

P- hmm , usne aise kuch bola tha .

A- gauri , is Tej uncle at home ?

G- no bhabi , he has gone for work.

A- itna sab huwa, and why didn't shivaay tell me anything...

Annika muttered to herself with a serious reaction .

Indeed , she was very much sad knowing the fact that he had actually hid everything from her . Right from whatever happened in office till last night .

P- maybe he didn't want to trouble you ,  chod na annika . I know about my son ,  Shivaay will handle it  . Don't worry .

Pinky's words didn't convince annika as somewhere a big destructive questions already arose in her .

"Why is shivaay not able to share such things with her ?"

She was upset.

On the other side shivaay was  fully engrossed in preparation for his new start up . Can't take a single penny from his own account , so this new fresh start is not going to be  easy at all .

Even at banks he couldn't initiate the sanction process because after knowing that he is an Oberoi they demanded that the guarantee of security should be from his family . Shivaay couldn't agree for that , his ego or attitude whatever it is  ,it wanted him to create and build everything out of his own effort . He was determined of that. 

The whole day he had been roaming everywhere trying his best to find a solution for this .

It was evening when annika  received a call from charu.

C - annika .

A- bolo .

C- kya bolo ? Tumhe hi bolna hai,  in all your accident episodes I totally forgot about this . So plan kya hai , bathao na ?

A- charu , your riddle game is really irritating.  I don't know what  you're even asking about !!

C- you don't know ?

A- charu please,  since morning this phrase " you don't know?" is eating me up like hell  . You don't start it now please .

C- ok ok fine , tomorrow is shivaay's birthday ! I don't know how I forgot it .

Immediately  Annika's lips curved up to give a pleasant smile .

A- shivaay ka birthday hai kal ?

C- isliye , I thought you'd have planned something . Vo poochne ke liye call kiya hai tumhe.... aur.... haan , is there any problem at home annika ?

A- why would you ask that?

C- nahi vo actually,  shivaay had called me this afternoon  . He  enquired whether I knew any trustworthy person who works at bank ...he sounded weird , tensed  , I don't know.  Kuch huwa hai ?

Soon annika's smile turned to become a weak one.

A-  I don't know how to answer this charu , you are more known of everything than me .

She chuckled faintly.

C- I didn't get you

A- kuch nahi  , I'll call you later.

She hung up the call and threw herself on the bed instantly. 

It so hurt her . He was entirely ready to seek charu for help but still he had no idea of even telling anything to her till now .

Already her talk with gauri and pinky revealed how he had ignored her completely in this topic . Now , it was even more clear .

Her heart strangled in pain .

She wasn't jealous , obviously no ...! because , she was rather angry. Angry on shivaay , angry on her Prince . He is wrong and she is very sure in that.

Shivaay came back when it was nearly midnight .

The whole mansion was silent and dark . He silently made his way to his room .

But he was soon baffled on noticing an awake annika who was sitting on the bed with a pillow on her lap. He grew worried .

S- annika , why aren't you asleep yet ?  Phirse dard ho raha hai ?

He sat infront of her within no time and shot these questions while she stared at him bluntly .

A- how was your work shivaay ?

Shivaay was silent for a few seconds .

S- I asked you something annika .

A- answer me first .

She spoke calmly.

S- it was good , fine .

He answered without looking at her , she took a deep gulp.

A- your mother wants us to be parents soon ... how will I tell her that it can't happen because ham abi tak husband and wife hi nahi bani hai ....?!

Shivaay looked totally shocked listening to her sudden statement .

S- what are you saying annika ? Kya huwa tumhe ?

He tried to hold her cheeks but she pushed his hands away and turned the other side . Shivaay eyes slowly travelled from his hands in air to her.

A- annika tum meri biwi ho , annika I like you very much . What was the need for all this shivaay ?

S- annika I don't know what

A - agar muje ye hak bhi nahi hai tho , mein kar kya raha hoon yahan !! Charu se hi shaadi karni chahiye thi tumhe ,

S- bas annika bas!! My head is breaking like hell , just stop it !!

He shouted and stood up holding his head , for a second she forgot everything and neared him when his face cringed as if he was in pain. 

S- how many times I have to tell you this annika ? Hamesha yahin hatki huwi ho tum ! Annika Shivaay Singh Oberoi ho tum !!  from the moment we got married till now , tumhe dil se meri biwi mantha  hoon mein . This is the truth .

He admitted pressing her shoulder but annika hardly looked convinced and pushed his hand off.

A- you only speak,  pretend ! Sirf baath kar sakthe ho tum .

S- pretend ? stop blaming me everytime annika . You're really getting on my nerves now.

Shivaay blinked hard and shook his head , trying to control himself.

A- hmm ! Just because annika takes things lightly , you can't take  advantage shivaay . Chod , even now mei galat nahi hoon par mein quite hothi hoon . It's ok , that's what like I've always been .

She pretended to be ok and turned to arrange the pillow when he pulled her against him  in force that for a moment she just collided on him directly.

His fiery eyes clearly mentioned his anger , she noticed that feature closely and passed an equally intense glare at him . 

A full minute passed when they both just stood and stared at each other intently.

S- teek hai , proof chahiye na ...fine annika!  bahut shok haina tumhe husband and wife kelne ki  ? Kelenge ham .

He gritted his teeth saying this and annika looked confused.

Pushing her a little away he started removing his waist coat with his glance still fixed on her .

Annika crooked her eyes and moved away when she saw him unbuttoning his shirt .

She was shook  realizing what he was certainly upto.

A- shivaay !!!

A screeching squeal of her  voice was heard after which the sound of a hard slap echoed around the room .

So how was the chapter?

I don't know I just typed whatever came to my mind. But I think , at this point such circumstances were needed. Maybe it could be a major turning point for shivaay , or anything.  We don't know how it's going to impact their relationship,  let's see .
