A- even you had dinner ? I feel so left out .Betrayer , lazy gooze  !

Shivaay  almost laughed out when his concentration was dragged from the call to  his wife's angry words of blame which she was making on Oreo -the innocent. He signalled her to keep numb for she turned away and started sipping some juice from the glass while rubbing over oreo's head with her other hand .

S - oh please I don't need excuses, I need results got it ? Then hang up and do some work too .

He threw his bluetooth away  and sighed jumping on the bed . Annika shifted oreo from her lap to the floor and pat his back for he immediately ran towards the pool . Then she sat back to face shivaay who was lying quietly .

A - that was rude . If I were your employee , I'd have given you a nice ear full! It's high time I should start giving you some lessons on how to be genuine and friendly with your co- workers . Or else , one day you will have to face worst when they start holding flags and banners against you. Then tum

There she had to pull a sudden break to her sentence when he inched closer . Annika gulped down on noticing his eyes which didn't meet her's rather they were into something down on her face. She tucked her hair slowly and pressed both her palms on the bed to move  a little back but before she could even initiate that, she already felt him on her skin and froze.

Annika crushed her fists with some fabric of the quilt within when he licked to wipe the drop of juice which was ready to drip down from the edge of her lower lip. The weather surrounding her alone seemed kind  of hot in that air conditioned room on feeling his wet lips on hers. And soon, he reverted back .

S- if I were your employer, I would never be rude to you. If you speak so much during work, or even if you start protesting against me, I won't scold you.

Annika took some seconds to certainly pull herself together from the previous moment after that sweet stunt which he made. Well, he seemed very normal though. That hurt her ego, why is it that she alone tends to feel the heat everytime! She wanted to act bold too.

A - I'm sleepy.

He frowned at her when she yawned wide and laid flat on the bed.

S - now who's acting rude haan? I never speak so sweetly with people you know, arey, you're not even ready to receive my sweetness .

Annika chuckled and raised her arm such that her fingers could get a good grip on his collar and at once  she pulled him next to her. He on the other side squirmed and moved like a worm until his head found a good spot to rest on, her shoulder.

A - really man, pata nahi I'm feeling so tired today. Teek hai, I'll receive your sweet stall but it really isn't that rather teri partial play hai . I never encourage people being partial.

S - you look tired and you sound tired but the words you bring! Your brain and mouth never experience anything called tiredness  .

The moment he completed  , she threw her leg over his and attached herself with him , closing her eyes.

A - you can go on with whatever you were saying Mr. Prince , I'm asleep already .

He let a huge sigh knowing that his statue kind of position is to be withheld throughout. Orelse,  she would pass comments while asleep too . ' S for shivaay nahi S for snake '

S - wait you haven't ate yet .

A - ek minute,  why are you being so stingy shivaay ?

Shivaay looked totally clueless on the accusation she just made.

S - now what ? First it was partial play  ab kya stingy snake ?

A - nahi , kuch bi !

S - mein kuch bi ? Same to you ! 

A - arey let me speak first na . Then I'll forget what I wanted to say.

S - as if .

A - chup!

She straightaway put her finger on his lips to shut him but he still continued.

S - say it now , what's the next title ?

He faked a grin for a second and continued frowning when she passed a glare.

A - I pamper you really well with a beautiful pet name , but tum , why don't you do such things for me ? Bol na!

S - take your finger off first .

A - hmm  , ab bolo.

S - I've got to get something  , can you kindly move ?

A - don't make any excuses to escape ok , I won't!

She once again caught him and laid over him at once , he shook his head in disbelief.

S - annika my dear,  I've got your so called pet name on my mobile  , I'll show you .

A - haww ! You couldn't even remember the name for you had created a note and saved it on phone ?  Such a don in business world par yahan tho

S - meri pyaari maa, please hold your impulsive mind for a second and release me !

Annika twisted her mouth to one corner and finally chose to loosen her grip when he squealed in defeat .

Grabbing the mobile from the table , shivaay once again laid back on the bed  to place his head on her shoulder. And soon she put her legs and arm around him to comfort herself .

A - it better be something good haan !

Both were gazing  the screen keenly while shivaay swiped and navigated to contacts . Her eyes shrinked and bloomed out for a second when she certainly found what he wanted to show her . There appeared an automatic smile on her face which he got a glimpse of .

Her contact id was just this , no letter , no word .

Annika kept looking at it for sometime and slowly turned her sight towards him . Knowing that she was actually watching him  , he didn't even try to look at her . She almost cracked up when he blinked several times and behaved shy like some newly wed bride .

A - what's the meaning of this Mr. Shy?

S - I , I'm not shy , I'm just feeling awkward . You know I had never done such silliness in my life until you . Aur ye   , meaning muje bi nahi pata . Bas I think it suits you .

She raised her brows and nodded hearing his reply .

A - this is not silliness , this is natural. Deko even in my list , S for shivaay nahi rather P for prince and there are more , like A for Adi nahi par M for Monkey hai ! If you start filling up the list with their actual name , usme maza kya hai? But rather if you try naming them like this , you'd have some emotions connected with it right ?

S - lo psychiatrist mode on .

A - acha fine  , let's leave that . Mein...mein queen hoon ?

Shivaay paused for a second and met her eye on eye.

S - pata nahi  you're something different , that's from what I know of .

A - and you love me for that ?

Came her immediate question while she maintained the gaze equally in line with him .

S -  I can't think of reasons , I just keep doing it .

There was a bright smile on her face when he completed and she didn't leave a second behind before peeping close to plant a soothing kiss on his forehead for he smiled pecking her palm simultaneously.  She then put herself on his chest comfortably and closed her eyes .

S - aren't you hungry ?

A - hmmm , no I'll compensate it in tomorrow's breakfast. Now I just want to sleep .

Shivaay smiled and started patting her back when she said this and gripped him firmly . But soon his mobile rang and she  was irritated by that .

S - annika , call...

A - shivaay am I some Hitler biwi for you have to ask permission to attend a call even ? Go ahead !

Her reply came out instantly as she dragged those words in a sleepy voice .

S - annika , ek minute haan

She cringed in irritation when he tried to  move away .

A- shivaay ! Now only you spoke a call right ?

S - sorry annika ye different team hai , and it's video call. We have a client meeting tomorrow so...

He made a puppy face when she whined like that but there was no way she looked convinced .

A - who attends video conference at 8 shivaay ? Jao tum ! Go hug kiss and  marry your office only .

How much ever drowsy and tired she behaved those trail of words and annika's speaking style remained constant in every situation. She threw the pillow on him and turned the other side , shivaay sighed rubbing his fingers on his forehead before swiping the green .

S- I've already explained everything, so I want the  meeting to be perfect tomorrow.  I'll carry over with the plan but  rest of the things I expect you guys to look on . Have any doubts , don't hesitate to give me a call or atleast a ping.  Am I clear ?

' yes sir '

S - ok , good night .

He walked back to the room after a span of fifteen minutes to find an already asleep her , hugging one fluffy pillow to her chest . Keeping the mobile aside ,shivaay crawled on the bed to reach the edge where she lied . He then casually started removing all her clips and clutch which gripped her hair one by one.  There seemed no movement from her who looked totally into some land of sleep . Shivaay had never ever  dreamt of becoming jealous of a mere pillow anytime ,but.

When she took no name to turn or even move , he fell dull . But still he wanted to try . She tilted her head and squirmed as he made a tickling blow on her ear .  Shivaay at once used this opportunity to kick out that pillow , and pulled her to his side swiftly such that  the part of whole her stays on him. Planting an immediate kiss on her temple , he kept gazing at her calm face for a few minutes .

S  - keeping  names  is not my thing , but don't know why I chose the crown . Maybe since you're so special and precious to me , meine .. I...I love you so much annika and I'll treasure you forever.

Those true words reflected the same emotions in his eyes which remained fixed on his love throughout.

Morning

G - bhabi

A - hey gauri , why are standing there, come in .

Annika immediately jogged till the door and helped gauri walk in .

G- packing ?

A - hmm , got to do some last minute work for tomorrow's function. Lazy goose charu will spend her whole day in parlour,  tho I'll have to help papa na.

Gauri nodded and smiled  while annika spoke.

G -  I wish I could attend the function. I don't know much about your friend but Charuka  ,I really like her . Please wish her on my behalf .

A - it's ok , our baby will arrive within the wedding for sure so then we'll rock the series of functions together!  Haina baby ?

G - ouch ! Bhabi , baby is responding . Kick maar raha hai muje .

A - aww ! Can you please  just come to me already baby ! By the way when are you expecting ?

She blew some flying kisses towards gauri's womb and grinned happily  .

G - doctor said mostly within this week .

Annika nodded in response and suddenly her face beamed with an entire source of joy when something hit her mind. At once she bent down and touched gauri's stomach .

A - hey baby , you wanna eat two two cakes and double the celebration every year ? Just make it on 11 th then, ok ! Your Ani maa will take care of everything  . I'll share all my gifts with you , teek hai baby? Ohh!! I can feel something!

She exclaimed and smiled widely .

G - day after tomorrow aapki birthday hai ?

A - haan .

G - baiya knows ?

A - pata nahi.

G - he doesn't?

A- no  usko pata ya nahi muje pata nahi .

G- vaise , where is he ?

A - maybe with his mom

She replied while stuffing her things inside a bag and that's when shivaay entered the room.

G - baiya , I hope you're really prepared for day af

Annika immediately pressed her shoulder and insisted not to continue , gauri understood her intentions and nodded obediently.

G - ok see you later baiya , good luck .

Shivaay stared at gauri confusedly when she walked out saying just this .

S - what happened ?

A - that's nothing,  where were you ?

S - mom wanted me to choose one dress for her , kal function haina.

Annika paused her work for a second and looked at him in surprise. Noticing this he clasped his arms around her waist and tossed his brows questioningly.

A - goals lag raha tu , I want my son to just be like you , 100 % mumma's boy.

On watching the innocent reaction she had on her face , shivaay almost went awestruck.  He couldn't help but move his self near her . Annika felt a little nervous when he leaned close . Just yesterday she had decided to hold a strong self when he makes a move but she couldn't do that  certainly. As soon as his capturing eyes meets her's she literally starts feeling shivers  everywhere.  Taking a deep gulp in , she slowly tilted her head to look away and that just paved him a good chance for what he had planned .

Annika almost squealed out when shivaay bit her right cheek . And before she could even react further,  he sucked the spot to take in some of her skin into his mouth . She made a slow blink once , he pulled out the fingers one by one to release her tight fist and put her arm around his shoulder.  Things happened simultaneously for he gave her no time to react for those sweet tortures . She chuckled gripping the behind of his neck within her palm when his smooching noise surrounded the room.

S - just talking won't give you a son you know .

She didn't dare to look at him but he kept lowering his head to show his smirk atleast once .

A- me...mein , I'm getting late bye !

It was really difficult for her to hide her blushing face , she just pushed him off and ran picking her bag . Shivaay was pissed off totally .

S - hey annika ,ani

He breathed out a huge sigh throwing his hands down with which he kept her locked all this time . He just shook his head a couple of times and turned back when suddenly she came to stand infront of him   again .

A- not just one , I want many babies . Deal !

Came her words in rush like an express train . But without waiting or even giving a chance for him to respond , she pressed a tight kiss on his cheek and  ran out immediately.

Shivaay grinned touching the wet skin on his face and muttered to himslef .

S  - deal...hey ek second,  annika what about my deal ? I'll only drop you wait !!

Grabbing the keys kept on the table , shivaay rushed to follow her .

The next day ,

Guests started arriving to the venue . Annika and her father took care of every required preperations while Meena and Praniti welcomed people .

Annika accompanied charu to the stage where Adi  already stood. 

A - charu my behna , take care of my monkey well ok ? Bananas ache se kilao.

Charu faked her grin on hearing this while Adi showed a thumbs up to annika .

C - tum kabi bi

A - haan yes papa ,

Annika left the stage soon when her father called from afar . Charu just breath out a huge sigh and turned towards Adi .

C - so , how do I look ?

Ad - nice par uss din you were even more pretty!

She narrowed her eyes when he said that .

C - when ?

Ad- yaad hai ? We enacted a sequence from Mahabharat for some occasion in our school , I just loved your look that day ki I couldn't even concentrate on my lines during the skit you know !

Charu at once moved her arm away which was kept wounded  with his all this time.

C - I was playing kunthi,  that is an old grandmother's role  .

Her face remained stiff and her eyes were shooting continuous daggers at him all the while . She even pinched him at one point of time .

Ad - ahh! Charu stage par hai ham.

He pretended fine and put up a smile on his face .

C - tho ? You deserve it .

She faked a grin for the pictures .

Ad - budhu , I adore my charu anytime and everytime however your look  kunthi ya bheem I don't care . Aaj bi I was just kidding,  sach tho I just can't hold on anymore . Any second I might grab you and...!

Charu chuckled and punched his shoulder slightly  when he whispered the last sentence in her ear .

A - haan teek hai I'll keep it there .

The heavy box in her hand slipped off as soon as she picked it , if not for the other pair of hands which bore it ,she'd have gone nuts for spilling the whole lot of sweets on the floor .

A - you're late ! Shivaay I told you to be early but see at what time you've reached ?You never stop giving lessons to me on punctuality but look at the same you , meine bathaya....

Shivaay rolled his eyes and shook his head in horror when she started her session here also . Like both were actually carrying some whole lot of weight in their hands and she had to just behave as usual .

S - give it to me first , it's heavy .

A - answer me first , I was expecting you

She didn't complete as he snatched the box from her and walked ahead for she followed him right away .

A - shivaay box baari hai,  let me hold it .

He didn't reply rather just made his way straight towards the dining hall .

A - shivaay , shivaay wait !

She collected the box from him and arranged it on the table after entering the dining hall .

S - mom took much time,  that's why I'm late. 

She didn't respond . He looked confused when she suddnely opened the box and picked a sweet from it .

S - what are you doing ?

Once again without saying anything she signalled him to wait and picked another one from it .

Shivaay shook his head when she offered him one .

A- nahi chahiye ? fine. Arey we climbed two floors to bring this here right  , we deserve the rights to eat this first . Hmmm!

He smiled while she exclaimed relishing the taste . And she almost froze when he held a glass of water just close to her lips the next second .

A - I was going to ask for it.

S - pata hai piyo .

She emptied the whole big glass within a few seconds .

S - want more ?

A - bas .

S - so you've been working since morning?

A - nahi not much , I was just helping papa .

S - dikraha hai , come here .

He pulled her close and started correcting her fringes which fell on her face . His next move brought an immediate spark of shiver in her for she had to wriggle herself a little to realize things.  He inserted his fingers in the ending edge of her blouse and pulled it down. Her chest was already hitting  his and now her breath started going uneven  . She couldn't help but press her face on his shoulder to hide herself , ofcourse there was a breezy good smile on her face all the while . Annika was really impressed with the way he took care of her , no hesitation ,no awkwardness. He carried things so causally and it only made her fall hard for him again and again.

The function went on well and  the most happiest person was Adi . So much of pain so much of love and so much of struggle , all for his charu . He was contented. Annika who noticed that crazily happy kind of reaction on his, sent a silent prayer to God immediately. Make it last forever .

It was almost early night when the engagement was done and people started leaving. 

P - shivaay , you remember gauri's uncle Mr. Karthik right . He's actually   his distant relative it seems , cousin I think .

As pinky spoke , Dhruv just passed a nod approving what she said .

S - really ? Small world it is .

D - exactly , vaise we were expecting everyone from your family today .

Pr - haan sorry we couldn't invite you in person par I spoke to annika and she

P- no that's ok she told me too but kya haina shivaay ka papa aur jethji had some important business work . And  gauri's delivery date is nearing so  jethaniji aur Om both are  with her . You know we all are so excited pata nahi abi hi mein aisi hoon , annika ki time mei tho I'll be flying in excitement  I think . Haina shivaay !

S- mom .

Shivaay just smiled at her in response while Dhruv's reaction changed instantly .

D - yeah,  I really hope annika's treatment goes well and she brings a happy news soon.

Shivaay and Pinky were confused on hearing it .

P- kya ? Kaisa treatment ?

Pr - vahi jo ,she's consulting a gynaecologist right , that's what he meant .

Pinky looked at shivaay who just shook his head claiming not to have known  anything  . Dhruv noticed it .

D - I uhh I'm sorry , I thought you would have known .

S - uncle I didn't get it  actually  , what do you know about annika and we don't?

D - nahi I actually met annika at the hospital a few days back.  And she had come there to take  consultation from a  gynaecologist regarding some complications in her health .

Shivaay was shocked as hell and so was pinky .

A - congratulations monkey!!

Saying a hearty wish, she hugged him .

Ad - I'm hungry .

C- yelo

Adi put up a pout when charu gave him a banana.

Ad - tum bi ?!

A - I just wished you now,  won't you even respond?

Ad - are you some uncle's son of my grandmother's daughter for I have to thank you ? Don't expect such formalities from me haan .

He said this and released her from that hug not before crushing her in his hold .

A- what was that son of haan? Have you lost your eyes monkey , boy hoon kya mein !

Suddenly pinky entered the room followed by shivaay .

S - mom , mom yahan nahi .

P -  don't expect me to be a fool shivaay .

Everyone's concentration fell by the doorway when pinky shouted like that .

M- what happened pinkyji ?

P - kya huwa ? I'll have to ask you that,  what is happening here ! 

A  - aunty please don't shout .

R - beta kya huwa ?

A- I don't know papa , shivaay...?

Shivaay looked at her silently for a few seconds , she grasped a more from that stare . Something was really really wrong. 

S - did you visit a gynaecologist last week annika ?

Annika gulped the big lump down her throat when his words entered her ears .
Adi crushed his eyes and looked equally tensed .

Shivaay was yearning for her denial but he already sensed  the truth which her eyes spoke .

M - I don't understand anything.

P- please Meenaji  don't try to fool us again . You would have known everything.  Aap hi ka beti hai .

A- none knows nothing. 

She declared taking everyone's attention on her .

C - annika what's happening here !

Charu pulled her infront and questioned but annika didn't dare to meet her eyes .

P - aisa koi kartha hai ? Adi's papa says that he met annika at the hospital last week. Annika has some complications in getting pregnant and she was consulting some doctor for that all these days .

Annika's parents we totally thrilled when pinky completed.

Shivaay noticed the helplessness in her eyes , the guilt on her face .

S - mom please , we'll talk afterwards . Chalthey hain .

M - what are you even saying pinkyji ! Hamari annika , nahi , aisa kuch nahi hai .

P - praniti is your friend right ? Is she lying then?

Meena turned the other side and watched Praniti who nodded  quietly.

D - am I lying annika ? I thought you'd have told your parents , par yahan tho even shivaay doesn't know anything.  Galat kiya hai tumne.

Annika didn't make a try to look at anyone . Charu was getting suspicious on watching Adi's empathizing reaction .

P - nahi , I didn't expect this from you annika . Health conditions sabko hota hai,  but you have done a big mistake by hiding it from all of us . Leave all of us , you could have atleast told shivaay right ? Kaisi life partner ho tum mere shivaay ki , ...I still couldn't believe you did this . I can't let my son's life be ruined with just lies and betrayals . You've lost my trust annika, I ...I thought  you're the best , you're perfect for my son . Par...baathen chupathi ho tum , I can't this . Pata nahi kyun mein already,  I'm already thinking of divorce and all . You know how hurting this is !

S - mom bas , please be quiet. This is between me and annika , I want none to interfere  .

Annika kept staring at him keenly but he didn't choose to see her . He was much angry.

P - shivaay you don't kn

Ad - can I speak for a minute aunty ?

Pinky stopped speaking when Adi interrupted. At once annika shook her head  signalling him to just stop . He didn't obey though .

Ad - whatever  papa said is not the whole truth .

C - you knew it already?

A - adi

Shivaay saw how restless annika looked , he hadn't ever seen such a  kind of fear in annika's face before.

Ad - you can't expect me to be quiet now too , I can't act selfish .

Saying this he came straight towards pinky and stood infront of her .

Ad - it is true that annika went to the hospital and met a gynaecologist that day . But it wasn't for her treatment, she doesn't have any health condition or she doesn't require treatment for anything . She's perfectly fine .

There was an immediate silence after when he made it clear . None spoke  because everyone were just confused about this whole thing . Annika slowly traversed her gaze till charu who was already watching her in keen .

M - Adi if you know something just say it , we really don't understand anything .

Charu looked entirely disturbed by the way Adi spoke and behaved . Something striked her mind suddnely. She watched Adi and annika alternatively . Her heart beat started raising up, the pace really felt abnormal . She somehow prepared herself to speak some words out .

C - uncle , wh when did you say you met annika at the hospital?

D - last Wednesday.

Immediately Adi and Annika both turned towards charu only to find the vulnerable her . Her eyes were almost wet and red by now . Annika's state was getting worse even , she could clearly sense charu's web of thoughts .

A - cha charu

She tried to touch her shoulder but charu immediately moved behind and slapped annika .  Everyone in the room were horrified  watching it . Shivaay didn't make a delay and immediately pulled annika behind , shooting his  raged glare at charu .
