Charuka - Annika ,does this earing suit my dress ?

She asked keeping it near her ear, while annika was helping her with the duppata.

C- bol na ?

A- hmm ! Ek second ,( she clutched the safety pin ) hogaya , what were you asking ? Haan earing ,dikao

She took the jhumka from her and shook her head keeping it aside ,while charu frowned .

C- why? See ,the stud matches with the colour of the salwar .

She insisted ,

A- I myself saw you arguing with mom for buying this at the jewellery shop the other day ,you didn't like this right? What happened now ?

C- what's the big issue in this? It's matching so,( interrupted)

A- haan ! Ye hui na baath ,if you had told me that you are wearing this because you like it ,I would have agreed but just because it suits ...or it goes well with your dress you're ok with it even if you don't like it .Right ?

She spoke looking at her sister's image on the mirror ,who was now totally pissed off .

C- really annika ? Itna bada session ? For this?

A- jo dil ki pasand hai vo hi tumhe beautiful dika sakthi hai .

Both were involved in their serious conversation when they heard the honking sound,

C- shh, enough . I think they've come , stop your nonsense and leave me now . I've to get ready ,

A- as if I've tied your hands ,

She said and rolled her eyes , while charu continued combing her hair .

C- perfect !

She smiled looking at her image, and adjusted her necklace .

A- waise , shall I ask you something?

C- what ?

A- since when you both are in love ? I mean ,tera vo...

C- pyaar...pata nahi, he was my classmate in college and we liked each other, we thought it could work well between us . Tuje pata hai ? Hamara taste bhi similar hothi hai hamesha ,

She described with a smile and failed to notice the weird faces which annika made ,

A- are you serious charu ?Tum donon ki taste milthi hai ,so you're ready to marry him ? Even I like things which you prefer, so shall we get married? Haan ?

Saying which she immediately ended up laughing out loud .

C- annika ,stop irritating me now .

She said angrily .

A- aur nahi tho kya ? Matlab ,how can you even share your life with a person you don't love ? Thank god! I ain't like you ,

She shook her head ,

C- then ? What plans do you have?

She asked rolling her eyes and annika smirked before replying .

A- I'm waiting for my prince charming ,jisse mein beyhadh pyaar karun . Definitely not like your's , what did you say ? He was your classmate, so you guys know each other since few years and still you don't feel anything for him right. Ye hi galath hai, my kind of love ...( she chuckled ) will happen within seconds. ( she snapped her finger ) And once I find him na ... kabhi uska saath nahi chodungi . I'm just waiting for the man whose lucky enough to sway this Queen .

She said dreamily watching which charu had already shook her head being bored of listening to the same story for the nth time.

C- ye destiny ..love at first sight , sab novels mei achi lagthi hai par real life mei ye sab ...( she shook her head ) everything is a big lie !

She opposed ,

By the time ,their mother came upstairs and told that the groom's family has arrived.

C- ji maa, aa rahi hoon .

She hurriedly slid her bangles and left the room, mumbling " pagal" looking at annika .

Annika just acted as though she heard nothing ,

A- mein ? Pagal? Koi samajthi nahi hai muje . It's ok ,oreo!!!you know me right !

(Oreo is her pet - pug)

She bent down carrying her baby oreo who had been running around her since all this time .

A- will I ever meet my Prince charming ? Kab vo mujse pyaar karega ? Life bahut boring hai uske bina,

She said innocently to which Oreo barked immediately and got down from her hold , trailing of straight he reached downstairs followed by annika who was trying to catch him .

Pinky - we all like charu very much ! We can finalize the date .

Listening to this charu's parents were so happy for their daughter .Charu who stood beside her mother, was just blushing hard looking at him .

Both the families were engrossed in their discussion, which was disturbed by a voice .

A- oreo stop ,kahan jaa rahe ho ... ruko na? Oreo !

She descended down the stairs fastly and chased oreo around the room , she remained the one who had everyone's attention there .

C- pagal, pagal...what's she doing?

She muttered below her voice watching annika run around the hall ,

With have been wandered the entire room once ,oreo hid himself beneath the sofa which centered the hall. Annika found this and bent down to pull him out ,but she saw someone's legs blocking her way down there.

A- move your legs ,Move !

She insisted without looking at the person as her entire concentration was on oreo who was now totally below the couch .

"Excuse me ? "

The person muttered and moved his legs on either sides to pave her way ,but still she couldn't reach upto oreo .

A- can't you hear? Get up ,you ...

Her words went short of any sound to voice out as she looked up to him .

She felt the time to have been frozen to bring the motion of his blue pupils into her eyes , everything around her remained still and blur as she could see nothing but him . Her lips had automatically curved up . She traversed her eyes around to gather every detail of his features . His eyes carried some kind of addictive drug which she had inhaled now . Her heart was thumbing fast ,just too ready to jump forward and reach his's .

"It will happen within seconds"

Her words rang in her ears continuously, as her sight was completely latched on him .

She returned back from her wonder land when she heard his voice ,

S- here he is , happy? !

He asked while handling oreo to her .

With her eyes entirely drowned into his's only she knew how she had managed to bring her hands ,holding oreo.

A- thank you ,Mr...?

She asked curiously,

S- I'm Shivaay ,Shivaay Singh Oberoi . Your future jiju !

Saying this he passed a smile and annika developed a face filled with disgust . "Jiju? yuck " she thought.

The families were busy talking about random stuffs ,while annika who just sat beside her papa was all involved in noticing charu and shivaay . He passed a formal smile to charu before locking himself with his mobile.

"inka aankhon mei tho ,koi pyaar nahi dik rahi hai charu ke liye "

She wondered, and at once she remembered the spark which spread his orbs when it met her's. She smiled widely .

Meena - so shall we finalize this date then ?

Annika's mother asked ,before pinky could respond annika spoke .

A- ek minute , did they both talk with each other ?

She asked looking at charu followed by shivaay .

P- beta ,they know each other since long back. What's the need for it now ?

A- par ,I think they should have a conversation now . They are ahead of starting a new life ,so...( interrupted)

Rudra- ha haan ! Even I was thinking the same . Jaayiye na baiya ,

He nudged his shoulders ,and shivaay saw every elder insisting the same .

Charu entered her room where shivaay awaited her . He was busy watching certain photo frames clasped on the wall ,which carried pictures of both annika and charu. His eyes just couldn't move towards charu's pic as it was kind of locked with annika's cute poses which seemed too adorable.

Charu was about to call his name when she saw annika marching in hurriedly.

C- what are you doing here annika ?

He turned hearing her voice .

A- shhh! Don't shout now, I called you both to give a life saving advice !

Her eyes popped big as though she was going to reveal a big secret . Charu watched her with confusion while shivaay could just smile finding her too cute .

S- and may I know what's it ?

A- cancel this wedding ,

She insisted and shook her head ,while the other both were shocked listening to it .

C - annika ,kya bol rahi ho tu ?

She shouted being angry ,

A- trust me ,you both have just accepted each other . You have no feelings for the other ,pyaar ke bina life ...( she shook her head continuously)

C- tum sach mei pagal hogayi ho annika ,

A- chodo ,you won't understand.

She moved towards shivaay and stood straight infront of him ,

A- kya karoon jagathmata nahi hoon na mein ? I am being selfish in this, I'm sorry .

S- I don't understand,

He looked at her being baffled , and she took one more step forward landing herself extremely close to him .

He could feel his eyes settling themselves to drown into her's. She looked at him with an intense stare before voicing,

A- will you be my prince charming ? I'll take care of you !

She asked with her voice which sounded too delicate ,filled with all her innocence gathered . He just didn't know how to react to it, but all he could notice was the pure truthfulness which her eyes held .

World shook for charu as she realized what annika meant, she pulled her towards herself at once .

C- kya badtameez hai ye ?

She gritted her teeth and muttered in a low voice ,audible only to annika .

A- what ? Don't you remember, It happens within seconds ! It happened with me ,

She shrugged her shoulders,

C- you just saw him and you don't even know him .

She insisted ,annika looked at shivaay who was now totally confused of what was actually going around.

A- vo itna bhi bura nahi hai ,short tempered hai ...and haan he rarely smiles ,sadu! Must be a big egoist aur thoda dominating bhi lagtha hai ...maybe he argues alot .But uske aanken sach bolthi hai , he likes me !

She exclaimed the last sentence ,while charu was bewildered with her statement. Because ,whatever she said was absolutely correct ...but no ...not the last line she said to herself . Moreover ,what else she could expect from her sister who's the best psychiatrist in town .

She glared at annika before speaking ,

C- shivaay, you're ready to marry me right ?

She asked in a serious tone ,while shivaay just let a nod . Charu immediately placed a victorious smirk on her face watching which annika rolled her eyes .

A- vahi tho mein bol rahi hoon ,he's just ready but he doesn't want this by heart !

She insisted ,

S- annika what's your problem now ? We've decided to marry ,and I'm all fine with my decision.

He declared holding charu sideways ,and annika just looked away .

A- well ! Congratulations then ,

She wished them with a wide smile and left the room immediately.

C- I'm sorry shivaay ,vo thoda pagal hai .

S- I knew you have a sister but aise ?

He shook his head with a smile playing on his lips ,"she's something special " his inner voice messaged him .

A- oreo!!! (She held him close and kissed all around his face ) they say that animals sense things beforehand , I witnessed it today man!! You knew it right ? You knew he is the one for me na ? Bas ,he doesn't know it ...koi nahi , if he's my destiny tho thoda wait karne mei kya problem haina?

She exclaimed and rewinded her mind to flash her moments with him .

Shivika meet again.

Annika - A sweet bubby talkative girl ,very frank with her thoughts.Kind of innocent, believes in her own version of love and destiny .Loves her sister charu very much .A psychiatrist by profession .

Shivaay - Same as the show ,has no idea on love . Likes charu as a friend .

So how was the first chapter guys?

It's like the other version of my book Reaching Out to him ,but it would be totally different from it .

I know I'm being irregular with my other books, but still I got this in my mind last night and couldn't stop myself from bringing it.
