S - yeah mom's teacher  is very serious in hospital it seems , she got a call this afternoon and immediately she wanted to be here . Mom values them very much you know  , that's why we came back and visited the hospital at once.

Annika who was pressing a towel over her face all this time , stopped and looked at him when he finished.

A - I thought you came back because you missed me . Mumma's boy haan ?

On hearing her , he bit his tongue and hugged her from behind. 

S - fifty - fifty .

Soon she pushed  her elbow to give a light hit on his stomach.  He  was going to say something in defense but  suddenly they heard a knock.

P - shivaay , annika's papa is here .

A - papa ? I was with him just before ...kya huwa ...

She pulled out his arm which was clasped  around her waist and walked to the living room in hurry with him following behind .

A - papa , what happened ?

Holding his hand within her's she questioned him in concern while he just shook his head slightly and caressed her hair .

R - you tell me what happened?

By then even shivaay came there .

S - uncle .

R - hello shivaay , I didn't know you had returned .

S - ji uncle I came here just before an hour , kaise hai aap ?

R - I'm fine , but  what happened to her ?

He pointed annika who looked totally confused.

A - what ?

R - you didn't seem very good back then at home,  what happened beta ? or are you angry because I didn't tell you about charu's engagement ?

Annika blinked slowly and made a smile shaking her head .

A- you came here because of that ?

R - tho ? You seemed disturbed  and I  didn't

She didn't let  him continue and just clasped his hands tightly as she kind of felt emotional about something when he spoke like that.

A- oh my god papa , please sit first.  I ... I was angry but you know my anger right? It doesn't last even for a minute . And you took it so seriously and came behind me ? Papa... aap  don't worry about me , please take care of charu . That's enough .

Those last words just came out as a mere whisper when her tongue was busy helping her throat to take a gulp in . Something about this situation made her feel guilty .

R - arey , what's with that take care of charu ? I know I've been busy these days with things regarding charu's function . But even you are my daughter beta, who will take care of you then ?

S - uncle I think you're forgetting me , she's married .

Shivaay made his statement holding  annika in  his eyes  and smiled .

R - pata hai  , you will take care of her . But I'm just I don't know...I've never been away from  her like , for these many days , I missed her.

Raghav looked at annika and expressed his words intently watching which annika grinned patting his shoulder lightly.

A - I really wish I were a boy and you were a girl shivaay! Or atleast I wish we were neighbours !

Shivaay looked at Raghav and  chuckled before making his complain .

S - see uncle , this is what she does . You were speaking your emotions and see what she said ! She has her own version of seeing things.

Even Raghav blinked agreeing to shivaay and smiled . That's when pinky came there with a tray .

P - enough of talking now serve some coffee for your papa annika.

A - haan .

She passed the cup to Raghav who kept it on the table and greeted pinky .

R - pinkyji , it's charu's engagement in two days . We'll be really happy if everyone joins the occasion.

P - very well , ham zaroor  aayenge.

A - papa , did you just cheat me ? You told you  came here for me , or...did you  come to invite them ?

She made a cute pout and argued .

R - fifty - fifty.

Immediately she turned and looked at shivaay who just shrugged his shoulders.

P-  coffee pijiye aap.

R - hmm,

Soon he received a call from home.

R - haa Meena  , oh...ok you just send me the list I'll get them . Yeah I'm still here with annika ,...hello meena ?

C- papa mein , I want to talk to annika .

R- ok , charu wants to talk .

He passed the mobile to annika who popped her brows in wonder .

A - hello behna

C - thank you , I love it !

Charu squealed and expressed her joy ,  annika felt equally happy on hearing it .

A -  actually speaking na , my bag was too heavy that's why I emptied the package to you. I'll get it afterwards until then ,  make hay while the sun shines haan! If you keep eating those biscuits and chocolates tho you'll put on weight and the dress won't fit you . Then automatically I'll have my hands on it .

C - you know what ? I am mad  , what even was I  thinking when I decided to thank you !? As if you're in size zero , god knows who maintains a mini stall of snacks in a handbag .Stupid, bye !

Annika grinned and giggled after listening to charu's frustrated voice. 

P - why do you keep troubling her always haan?  So sad of her .

Annika bit her tongue and smiled innocently.

A - habit hogayi na aunty.

R - teek hai beta , I'll leave then .

A - so soon ?

R  - got to buy some things , your mother has sent the never ending list already . Chaltha hoon mein bye .

He nodded at shivaay and pinky before  hugging annika once .

She kept watching her father's retreating figure who  just walked past the gate and left .He would have just returned from work , and Adi's parents visited home , he was talking with them ,then he came running behind her, and now he's running for something else .Somewhere  her conscious  kept pricking her continuously . Her father is such a warm and loving person, and her entire family is so happy for the upcoming days but she's doing wrong by hiding things from them . Will they be able to handle the truth ?  What if eveyone despises her after ...! She was worried  because even  if she behaves true to her conscious and tells everything, she feared for the consequences after that .

Only when shivaay touched her shoulder from behind she zoned in and turned back .

S - kya huwa ?

But she just shook her head and shrugged casually .

A - nothing.

S - come , help me pack

He stopped the word right there after noticing her stunned eyes .

S - aww ! Sorry I forgot to add the prefix , unpack my bags . Come on.

She  frowned cutely and hit his chest for he just faked his pain before dragging her to their room .

S - vaise what was that , I mean you were saying something to charu right ....pata hai after that she immediately sent me a message in WhatsApp  . Don't bring your wife to the engagement ! along with an angry  emoji  ,huwa kya hai ?

He spoke while emptying the bag , and she couldn't help but laugh at her sister's silly act .

A - vo...it was when you called actually.  We both selected the same dress in shop  , then...

She narrated the entire incident to shivaay who had a smile on his face throughout while listening to her story . He just muttered a single word after hearing everything.

S - kaise ?

A - kya kaise ?

S- you said you liked that dress. Then why?

A - what's so surprising in this , haven't you or Om shared your favourite toys with Rudy . Were you Stingy Singh Oberoi ?

S - see ?  Even you expect the elder to forgive everytime but in your case ...

A - oh that , kya is there some rule in the indian constitution that only the elder one should do this ? Come on, since we were kids aisehi hai . I won't say that charu doesn't help me at all , she would  complete all my maths homework so that I don't get scolded by teachers . Par ghar pe ...she becomes a monster  , even if she does something wrong , she would put the blame on me and maa muje slap karegi. What to do  , behna meri haina , chaltha hai .

He interrupted her immediately .

S - nahi chaltha hai .

A - hmm ?

S - annika I don't know whether you get it but,  whenever you get into charu's problems  ,you get hurt and not anyone from outside rather charu herself turns out to be the one hurting you . I don't like it happening.

Annika felt touched when he expressed his last sentence with so much of love in his eyes.  She quickly clung her arms around his shoulders.

A - aww ! Don't get serious man , chod na . Moreover,  she's my sister . Uske liye

S - nahi , I mean she's alright now . You don't have to do anything.

A- hey hey why do you seem so serious like some patient in ICU ? Teek hai na ,

She kept rubbing her fingers over his stubble softly all the while .

S  - because I've seen things. See annika charu is my friend and I really, really care for her . But just because of that I can't let her hurt you even if she's your sister. Everything is ok now but , don't you  dare put yourself into situations which might bring you trouble. I can't take that ...I can't take it agar koi tumhe disrespect ya hurt kare .

Her eyes threw those worries which kept taunting her all this time and turned so soft and gentle after listening to his warning that screamed just one thing  , his love .

Without giving him any more second to start his serious lectures , she immediately grabbed his collar and  pressed tender kisses all over his face . From forehead to cheeks and cheeks to temple and temple to chin and chin to nose and nose to jawline . While all the time , he just stayed idle without sparing an inch of touch on her . The continuous sound of smooches and those wet patterns  which she brought to his skin rose his temptation though . He remained still for she behaved in desperation to take over and claim his everything as her's .

S - got my warning ?

She stopped kissing and watched him in frustration.

A - I'm kissing you right now and you only got this to tell me ?

S - answer me first .

A - robot ho kya?

S - got it ?

She stepped back a little when he pushed himself on her . And soon her legs hit the bed for she slipped and fell only to find herself seated inside the trolley which he was unpacking. 

Annika tried to get up but before that  , he just pulled it closer and knelt down to match her level . She almost closed her eyes when he brought his face just infront of her's . There was hardly any gap for air even . She felt tortured as he didn't make a single touch on her , all she could feel were his deep breaths right on her lips . The desperation and yearning in his eyes didn't go unnoticed by her  , she smirked .

S - jawab dho.

Annika kept staring at his eyes and at one point she herself initiated things because having him so close didn't actually leave her desire in peace . Her hands had already reached his ears where she was actually pinched the tiny muscles within her fingers softly . Shivaay blinked  slowly on feeling her smooth rub on his little flesh there .

A - agar mein...I mean if I do something like that , what would you do ?

She was about to redo the same  to his ears when he instantly caught hold of he hands and brought them in between . He then put pressure to force her arms such that they remain folded below her chest and she just let him do without opposing.  Rubbing his cheeks over her's he pushed her face slightly so that his lips could reach just in  place near her ear .  She smiled on sensing his wet lips making small patches on her skin there .

S - I think you didn't get it . I'm asking you to be precautious not to seek  cure. Got it ?

This was the whisper he made in her ears. He was waiting for a reply which she gave but not the one he expected though .

A - shivaay ,  I love you .

She whispered.

He paused whatever he was doing and came back to take a look of her . Annika immediately took his hand and kissed his palm with her gaze fixed right into his eyes . He kept staring at her without saying anything  but at some point both simultaneously contributed to share a tight hug for which they craved so much in these few minutes.

She settled her head on his shoulder and kept ruffling his hair while he almost crushed her in his arms to satisfy his possessive heart . Annika shivered and held his shirt tightly when he kissed the spot bridging her neck and shoulder  .

A- sh shivaay .

He then roamed his nose and lips all the way to her jawline for she arched back and fell on the bed with him over . His legs gradually moved and kicked out the trolley away .

Just when he was going to kiss her chin , they heard someone's voice from outside. At once annika pushed him away and stood up before Rudra could come  inside. And thus ,shivaay's face just hit an empty bed when she suddnely moved like that .

R - baiya  ! You had promised  that you would play with me when you return right ? I've selected 2 players , aajayiye na ! Why are you sleeping so early today ?

Rudra held his hand and pulled him out of the bed while shivaay's eyes kept shooting daggers at him all the while  . Annika who stood on the other side , just pressed her lips together to control her laugh after watching shivaay's helpless face .

R - and baiya what have you got for me from Goa?

A - haan Rudy , all this time he was ranting it actually, got it got it got it. I'm sure he would have got something huge for you.

Shivaay narrowed his eyes at her  and glared very hard for she chuckled behaving innocent.

S - lets play that game of yours first .

R - done ! Come baiya.

Rudy dragged shivaay who turned back to see her waving at him sadly . He fumed once again watching which she blew some flying kisses continuously.
