Adi and Charu were present inside a building  , which seemed like a guest house.

Ad- ek minute , did you just elope from the wedding for ...for me ! Awww ! I knew it , you can't forget your love ...your Adi !

He exclaimed and the next second he fell on the floor when he received a tight slap from her.

He felt a sharp pain on his face , he slowly turned his gaze towards her.

Her eyes screamed an anger which hung to an high extreme ,he looked bewildered .

Catching hold of the bed aside ,he balanced to stand up facing her.

C- what did you just do Adi ?

She pulled his collars and shouted at him , soon those drops of tears waved down from her red eyes which he tried wiping for her jolt back away .

C- don't...! Don't touch me ,

He confusedly shook his head and forwarded as she again moved a step back indicating him to halt .

Ad- kya huwa charu ? Why are you crying?

He asked holding his head within his palm ,feeling drowsy . She instantly pulled him to the restroom and made him stand below the shower, clutching the knob she held his hand tight such that he completely drowns in the pour.

Ad- charuka ! What ...what are you doing? Leave me , leave !

He wriggled moving ,but she somehow managed to catch hold of him in process of which she got wet too.

Raghav was constantly enquiring about annika when Meena had to come up with different reasons each time which made him suspicious but as they were ought to see to the guests and relatives ,she somehow kept him busy so that there isn't any dispute when people are around.

Completing all the rituals ,shivika were asked to wait at the room until all the guests leave after lunch.

He watched her to have been removing the garland and dropping it down. She lifted the ghunghat and looked at him. Their minds were captured with nil thoughts at this moment , passing a blank stare at the other ,both stood silent .

Traversing his gaze from the red streak on her hairline till the nuptial chain which he had adorned around her neck a while back, he walked close to her .

A- how are we going to handle this shivaay ?

She asked with a sudden rush of fear residing inside her . He stiffened his face clear ,and took her hand which was fidgeting her dress's fabric still ,into his hold. She , who had her gaze fixed nowhere in particular looked at him feeling his touch . There was a shout of assurance layered in his blue orbs , she felt calm witnessing it .

S- whatever it is , we both had taken this decision together. So we'll handle this together, trust me .

He persuaded ,looking into her eyes while she gained some peace listening to his words. Indeed , if anything which is to be faced and you get a partner to support you through it. A kind of relief grows within bringing peace to your heart . He felt quite comfortable ,noticing her eyes which settled down in tranquility .

Shivika were seated on the couch centering the hall to complete the ritual in which the duo had to get blessings from elders.

It was only when he hugged his daughter after blessing her ,Raghav felt something different as he knew that charu is a little short but now she seemed to maintain the same shoulder with his's. Caressing her head ,he remained baffled . That's when he noticed the chand bracelet  tangled around her wrist which he had exclusively bought for annika when she was 10 .

Annika felt extremely nervous knowing that her father has caught something . She gulped continuously, with her eyes rolling on both sides constantly.

P- arey charu ,atleast now you can remove the ghunghat ...! I want to see how beautiful my bahu looks !

She exclaimed ,and shivika felt the same tension surrounding both .

Raghav took a step back and watched his daughter keenly .

Annika felt a tug on her wrist as shivaay held it tight ,assuring her . Letting a deep sigh , her fingers made way to pull back the fabric .

Everyone's face turned terrified witnessing annika instead of charu to be decked up as the bride - wife of shivaay . Silence prevailed the hall as everyone were trying to register the scene infront while Meena has already let down her tears which she tried suppressing till now .

The first person on whom annika fixed her vision was her papa who looked extremely shocked . Her eyes automatically glistened ,as she moved forward upto him. She shook her head slightly and tried speaking to him when pinky shouted , which echoed through the place.

P- how dare you annika...?!

She screamed making her feel a sudden jolt for a second.

Shivaay held his mother's hand from behind at once when she tried walking past him to reach annika.

She looked at her son with a suspicious glance and her pulse beat rose through each second .

S- mom , mere baath... suniye.

He tried to put on a convincing facade watching which all were even more shocked. He knows...?

Annika instantly rushed to hold her father who stumbled listening to whatever shivaay said .

A- papa ? Papa !

She supported him , while her eyes started pouring down. None would want to witness their parents breaking down . He looked devastated.

Shakthi- what are you saying shivaay ? Charuka did agree for this marriage right ? Then why would she do something like this ?

Shivaay passed a clueless look to his father who seemed bewildered with the situation and so were everyone including OmRu.

Annika felt more weak watching her papa's eyes welling up. She had no words to bring out ,convincing him. She felt helpless .

Raghav felt a strong pang in his heart to even thing of what charu has done, what about the morals which he had taught his daughter all these years ? He had failed huge ! he blamed himself.

He looked at his daughter for a second before making his way straight to shivaay .

R- how dare you force my daughter in all this ?

He roared with eyes screaming his anger and crushed holding shivaay's collar . At once annika reached between the both standing a shield ,while pinky pulled shivaay backwards who shook his head watching Raghav's top notched anger .

A- papa , plss . He didn't force me papa , aapko kya lagtha hai ? He would force me and I'll agree? Aapki beti itni bhi kamjor nahi hai papa!

She said the last line gazing at shivaay who looked away slowly .

He knew , she was an exact copy of him when it's on attitude but it isn't his turn to loose his cool. He understood ,her father's anger is justified, he planned to behave calm.

R- par ,charu ki vaja se tu ...why did you do this annika? Mere liye...

He cupped her face ,and wiped those tears running down her cheecks. He had always known that annika was different, not like others. She cares for everyone around, but just that it doesn't go visible to people because she keeps it that way . Someone like her ...?never ever! He knew ,but this ...! She did the unthinkable just to secure his respect ...? He felt guilty himself,

R- what about your life beta ?

P- enough! Enough of all this emotional drama ,

She shouted getting everyone's attention while Raghav glared.

P- what do you mean by her life ? As if you don't know, ek beti shaadi ke din hi bag gayi and she ( pointing annika ) ,made use of this lottery chance . Hmm! Lottery lag gayi annika?

Pinky let out an insulting smirk and shivaay protested at once .

S- mom , we both took this decision together. In fact ,she was reluctant to marry me first ...then ( interrupted)

P- all that should have been her acting shivaay , I know her !

M- pinkyji , your crossing your limits . You know nothing about my daughter,

She declared ,standing beside annika .

P- ohh! Maybe ,I don't know par you know everything right? But you wouldn't have expected your daughter to elope from her wedding...isliye tho hamara paison ke liye aapne ek immediate action lii, and brought annika to the mandap ...!

Her offensive words broke annika's parents as they knew , it was their daughter who has done the mistake . They couldn't pretend strong enough ,when they have a fault done.

S- mom plss , believe me . Annika aise nahi hai .

His proclaiming words were like letters written in air as his mother was in no mood of listening . First ,her son's bride has eloped on the day of wedding and this entire swapping drama screwed up her anger . How can a mother just accept things as it is knowing that her son has been thrown with injustice ? She behaved thinking of her situation alone leaving no thoughts of the other side .

P- shivaay ,tum chup raho. What if you had married her , this isn't right. Let's apply for divorce, she isn't right for our family . I should have thought of this before fixing your alliance ,these middle class people are like this. Paison ke liye kuch bhi kar sakthe hain ye ( interrupted)

A- bass aunty ! !

She shouted bringing a span of extreme silence around.

A- who are you to judge us,haan ? You have no rights to talk like this about us. I agree ,it's my sister who eloped and we're at fault but still, you're none to judge my parents and me like this . We know to earn by ourselves, there's no need for us to look up to someone for money and wealth. Just stay in your limits !

She declared ordering with her face screaming rage . She can't take words against her parents . No! Be it anyone infront, if they hurt her beloved ones she's ready to give a fight like hell.

Everyone including shivaay were taken aback watching annika like that .

S- annika ,is this the way you speak to my mom ? Show some respect ,

He insisted  ,coming forward to face her straight.

Both remained quite for a second exchanging lined glances . Both were highly similar in this , anything for family ...? they will stand against all odds.

A- tho ? Truth must sound loud shivaay . Didn't you hear what she said about me and my parents? You believe that?

She asked crooking her eyes ,and he grit his teeth shaking his head .

S-first listen to me annika. she's angry because...situation aise hai . Anyone would react impulsive in this situation,

He tried insisting,

A- then what about my family shivaay? Even they are hurt ,how can she just vent out like this ? And you never bother about others right ? Itni selfish ho tum ?

S- annika ,mein ...selfish ? Could you plss tell me what was my fault in all this ? It's you who's fighting now,

A- so ,you want me to stay quite when your mother is all set to insult my family? Sorry shivaay ,I can't ! I will react the same way to anyone who chooses to blame my parents ,be it your mother or anyone .

S- enough annika ! ...muje laga ki , we could sort all this together. But when you are so blind to understand things ,then ( interrupted)

A- what do you mean by understand shivaay ? I should understand your mother's mental state but I shouldn't expect the same form you ! Itni selfish ho tum ? Don't let me regret my love shivaay ,I won't be able to handle it ever.

She spoke daringly, and he looked offended by her blame .

Listening to the word love ,pinky looked at her suspiciously.

P- see shivaay ,she herself took advantage of the situation and married you aur ab she's telling that your selfish .

She complained,

A- aunty plss ,bass kijiye. Muje aapki paison ki koi shock nahi hai , you want him to divorce me right ? So let me make it clear now , I'm ready to divorce him.

Her statement bewildered everyone, they stood shocked .

Shivaay felt entirely disturbed listening to her words .

He looked at her parents who seemed dejected much with everything going around. First, their daughter had eloped then annika has shocked them by revealing herself as the bride and now ... ? Divorce ? None would have the mental strength to cope up with all this happening contagiously. Both stood devastated thinking of their daughter's future ,he understood their pain .

P- annika ,you are ( interrupted)

S- ok just stop it mom !

Pinky shivered wriggling for a second listening to his sudden roar .

He walked straight close to annika and stared , deepening his intense gaze into her orbs .

S- you know what annika ? I was wrong , I thought that you would understand and support me in handling the consequences of our decision. But ,I was wrong .

He stated shaking his head and she sighed,

A- even you had promised me that we're together in this, but are you keeping up your promise ?

He watched her eyes which depicted her pain clearly for him to feel the same . Without his own knowledge his eyes turned weak, mentioning the same suffer and pain as if it just travelled through an invisible medium from her eyes to his's .
It wasn't an eyelock ,rather it was some mode of exchanging their inner turmoil which couldn't be expressed just like that . Maybe , it was a private split of feelings which they both shared at that instant.

He looked at her parents who stood behind her and took a deep gulp before voicing.

S- mom shaadi meine ki annika se ,so I will decide what to do , I don't want to divorce her .

He spoke registering his words with strong declaration while looking at her who slowly watched away listening to him .

True love is always one side ,Love both the sides is destiny 💘
