She stopped by his room on hearing some commotion in there, and went close to look by . Seemed like Mahi was preparing to leave the house, Pinky, Shakthi and Roop were trying to stop him. Annika sighed blowing the hair waving on her face away and stood at the doorstep, watching the scene .

Sh- Mahi, Mahi listen to me once.

P- see it's my fault I'm sorry, but please don't go.

M- no it's not your fault, it's just me. I... shouldn't have come here, I shouldn't have yearned to live with my dad. It's all on me. If I stay here, neither I will be at peace nor anyone in this house. Better I just...!

He stopped packing for a second to make his statement clear and continued arranging immediately. Pinky got scared, she wasn't ready to loose her son again.

Ro- Mahi, beta you're just overreacting. We have come to a new place, it takes time go adjust I understand but

He interrupted her soon

M- you don't talk to me ma... You started it. Just don't!

P- if you're angry because he hit you, see I'll apologize ok, or I'll bring shivaay and he will apologize ok?

Saying this she was ready to go but winced suddenly and stopped when her wound stung as she moved in hurry. She caught his elbow in reflex for support and he immediately made her sit on the bed carefully. He seemed concerned ,Pinky smiled inward on sensing it.

M- please, don't trouble yourself. I smashed the glass, I should apologize not you.

He muttered staring somewhere else while pinky just shook her head lightly. Shakthi and Roop were not surprised though, they knew how Mahi really is. He's a kind man to be honest, but one thing he hates is lies and that's how big they had hurt him this time. With just lies, so obviously he's angry and frustrated.

P- it wasn't intentional, I know. Even shivaay didn't mean to hurt you.

A- exactly and that's why he wouldn't apologize.

Everyone looked by the door on hearing her voice, Mahi's reactions changed immediately. She stared straight at him while entering to walk in and sit beside pinky.

A- aap teek haina?

P- hmm.

A- don't worry aunty, he is your son, why would he leave here , his own home and family? He isn't going anywhere, haina Mahi baiya .

Pinky smiled on hearing her call him that, while Mahi gritted his teeth and looked away. He exactly knew what she was doing , threatning, her smirk and sarcastic face said it all. He is stuck and it only irked him more.

A- boliye na .

She acted naive again, Mahi just threw his bag back on the ground and walked out quick from there without saying anything. Everyone were kind of surprised by his act .He seemed to cooperate with annika suddenly , anyways they felt really happy ,especially pinky. She remained quiet for sometime before asking.

P- Annika, shivaay, how's he,is he in much pain?

A- no aunty, he's ok.

P- I don't know ki mein kya karun. Shivaay ek taraf aur Mahi dusri taraf, mein... I'll talk to him but deklena beta usse. Tum ho uske saath and I believe in you.

Annika just passed an assuring nod before moving out from there. She stopped on finding Mahi standing near the stairs, talking over the phone with someone. She guessed the person already.

M- why don't you understand celine! Have some confidence in us, we will somehow talk and convince your parents. We don't need anyo...no I didn't mean that, wait... Ok ok, done. As you say, happy now?

He saw Annika standing beside and soon hung up deciding to go somewhere else. Her instant comment made him stop while he walked past her.

A- so you do love her, really.

M- look, I don't need to prove anything to you . It's just celine, she's very naive and innocent to think you'd help but I know what you are and what you do.

He jumped close to show his anger for she looked unshaken.

A- I don't care what you think of me, just know this, dare you harm shivaay again and I will make you regret it so bad . I'm very serious.

She announced seeming so determined , even he knew it was more than a warning.
He was going to say something but she already moved from there when shivaay called out her name. Mahi stomped on the floor hard and stood agitated . He hated being in her control.

S- Annika!

A- hmm arey aa tho rahi hoon, stop selling my name now.

She commented as she entered the room after closing the door to only find him rooted to a place, with his hands on his hip,eyes staring at her.

A- kya huwa?

S- where's my mini drafter?

A- matlab, shivaay I'm a science student man, why do I even need that? Mein kya cricket kelungi drafter leke?

He shook his head immediately and sighed.

S- annika how many times to you tell you don't misplace things, I remember keeping it in the cupboard but now I don't see it there. Come on annika, thodi tho help karni chahiye na tumhe. I've been searching for it since half an hour now.

Her reactions softened to make a small face when she saw him whine like a baby throwing his hands in air.

A- aww! Aisa face banaogi tho I can't even argue with you shivaay, ok fine,sit here, I'll get it for you.

She pressed him to the bed and started searching for it everywhere. First inside the cupboard, then study table draw, beneath her dressing desk and so it went one by one.

A- shivaay did you even bring it or is it still in car or somewhere?

He heard her voice from beneath the bed where she was currently scanning now.

S- I clearly remember keeping it inside the cupboard. And I'm damn sure tumne hi kahi pek diya hoga.

A- haww! Here I'm putting my life into finding it for you, and tum. So mean shivaay.

S- fine fine, ab aaram se.

He caught her carefully and pulled her out while she crawled outside from beneath the cot , still complaining.

A- ab kya, I've searched everywhere.

S- that's what I said.

A- don't look at me like I swallowed it, wait.

She kept travelling her eyes around for suddenly her eyes caught something, even he noticed the direction of her sight to soon only glare at her. Annika prayed it shouldn't be in there and slowly emptied the laundry basket.

It fell out as the last thing, wrapped and tortured within a bundle of clothes, her clothes. She gulped in hard and slowly took her eyes till him . He was already staring at her.

S- what is this Annika?

A- shivaay I swear I really don't know how... I , orea ne kiya hoga pakka.

S- really Annika? Tum na kahi bi kaise bi careless ho sakthi ho, so don't blame poor orea just because he won't say anything back.

He lectured while trying for peel out all the clothes tangled with the kit, and Annika had an innocent face throughout. Shivaay was about to add more when she just got a call, escape , she sighed huge and picked it immediately on seeing the Id.

A- Eli! Calling in this hour? What happened, baby aagya kya, girl or boy? Like I said girl hui na , Eli, Eli speak you idiot!

E- Annika I don't know who taught you the way to speak in a call but I'm telling you whoever it was,they had failed so bad.

Annika rose her brows and sat leaning on the bed board.

E- oh my god! Please do something with this dumbest friend of mine.

Annika chuckled at her statement and suddenly grew curious.

A- acha is it so difficult to control cravings? Yaar even I'd like to feel it, shivaay dek na zaahir is taking her for a midnight date as she got sudden cravings. Muje bhi baby chahiye.

S- my dear ani, anyways you experience as much as cravings like any pregnant woman does,even more than them at times so it doesn't really matter you know.

Came his immediately reply. Poor he was now cleaning the mess his wife had just created in the name of helping him find the tool. The whole room was upside down now. He wondered the real image of the room if they do have a baby, one side his child would do the part having Annika who would equally compete and strive hard to bring the room down. Shivaay didn't complain though, the truth is he really loved even the mere sight of those flashing images which ran on his mind that instant.

Annika narrowed her eyes and frowned on hearing Elizabeth's loud laugh to shivaay's reply.

A- did you call to start an insulting session?

Annika grew quiet and ran her eyes on him once, he had finally settled infront of the drawing desk after cleaning everything. Seemed fully involved in his task.

E- why so late?

A- don't know how he'll react, listen listen, we'll meet tomorrow. Ok?

Hanging up the call, she took baby steps towards him . Once she was behind him, she quickly wrapped her arms around to hold him by abdomen and leaned on his back.

A- who does drawing at this time shivaay?

She peeped from behind to take a look at the board, he was busy doing line segments with the drafter.

S- I would have completed it before an hour itself, but thanks to you I'll be a night owl today.

She remained quiet for a while, shivaay turned to look once and make sure she hasn't fallen asleep on his back.

A- shivaay.

S- hmm

A- shivaay

S- haan?

A- shivaay!

He shook a bit when she screamed.

S- Annika you're shouting in my ears.

A- are you listening or not?

S- yes you called my name thrice and asked whether I'm listening or not, now go ahead.

She chuckled at his cuteness and continued speaking.

A- I recently found out that I had missed my period this month, so I did the pregnancy test.

She felt a sudden jolt when he jumped to turn in no time, his face revealed an epitome of curiosity.

S- and?

Annika for a second remained frozen, adoring his expressions. His eyes were already sparkling with so much excitement and glistening tears. He shook her once to bring her back here.

S- and!

She felt quiet sad while making a no nod slowly and it only ached to see his face shrinking to small . He for once shook his head watching her to ask and confirm again. Annika really felt upset now, she shouldn't have revealed.

A- nahi, and I got my periods too.

His lips made a tight smile as he carresed her hair once before resuming his work.

A- itni excited ho tho why did you tease when I said I want babies?

S- I was just kidding yaar, ofcourse I love to have kids too . What did you think?

A- I think you would be a strict dad. Like you are with me.

S- looks like you've got so much to complain. In future what if the baby takes mumma's side and ignores me? I'll be so lonely.

He stated and stepped the other side to get the measurement correct from the square line and complete the segment.

A- I have a solution for that, and you know I always have this dream of having twins. I didn't know why but now I get it, tum bhi twin ho so there might be a chance right?

He grew serious when she mentioned about him being a twin, shivaay still couldn't take that he's got a brother apart from OmRu. Still no , he hasn't got it processed in his mind yet. And with his mother acting different these days, he couldn't even tell if he's happy to have Mahi or not. He kind of couldn't accept himself for that, for disliking a person with no good reason. Annika clearly saw his reactions and bit her tongue for bringing this up. She immediately jumped in between him and the board, asking for a chance.

A- shivaay this looks so tempting, shall I try please?

He didn't give her time after that and just pulled her within him to take the correct position . With his hands over her's, he directed to position the drafter scale with on hand and to mark correct points with the other. She followed him along and focused completely on the sheet.

S- do we have three points?

She took time to count them first .

A- yes.

S- let's connect them now.

With his head settled on her shoulder,he pressed her from behind and both bent forward to complete the shape from all the ends. Shivaay couldn't help but smile at the way she kept her mouth slightly open throughout.

A- wow! Cool na?

She grinned after completing the minimal part of the big plan, shivaay didn't take his eyes off her throughout. On not getting his response, she quickly turned only to be taken into a deep kiss by him. Her knees loosened to fall weak in that sudden moment but he gripped her waist immediately to have her standing for him . She drowned in his touch as he sucked her deep. Annika smiled sensing how much she is being loved, his secure arms around caging her, his sensual kiss which revoked the woman in her, and ofcourse his oceanic orbs which could hold her captivated beyond ages, all this kept reminding how much lucky she is. As he slowed down she began to chew his lips but soon groaned when he suddenly pulled back. She popped ber brows asking why and he shook his head innocently.

S- I just realized something.

A- kya?

S- in future,what if you love our child more than me? Matlab mein jalli nahi but...

Annika just pressed her lips and smiled, what even is this man!

A- kya cheez ho tum man?

S- matlab?

A- tho mein kya, am I some school teacher ki mein sirf partiality hi karun?

She gestured him to come up close when he asked with that naive look on his face. As he obeyed and stepped near, she slowly pulled his head and pressed a soft kiss on his forehead, he smiled hugging her tight in reflex.
